Spent the weekend of the 22nd October 2023 with ladies from my scrapbooking group. The owners of The Red Barn are absolutely wonderful, friendly and so accommodating. The food which was supplied was really filling and delicious. Will hopefully be revisiting again in December.
Always a good time! Beds and bedding comfy and clean, well stocked with utensils, firewood etc. Magical place and would recommend to anyone! Thanks for having us!
We enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn (the Dairy Cottage), the owners were very friendly and welcoming. We love nature and being surrounded by animals, so this place gets a definite 5/5. The place was clean, felt like a home, has a nice warm fireplace, quiet surrounding - away from the main road. The lake is a nice spot to have a picnic, we spent a bit of time just chilling by it. The birds and trees book collection was an extra added touch for us as my partner is an animal and agriculture expert, so he thoroughly enjoyed browsing through it. Would definitely visit again. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
Thisnis awesome to visit for some nights. No need to worry about anything, just go and enjoy.
Great venue for groups of friends or family wanting to get away. Lots of space for the kids to run around and play. Caught some small Bass in the ponds.
A great place to get away. It's very peaceful, and the Homestead is huge and very comfortable. We visited in mid-winter and the ample wood supply meant that we could have a roaring fire. It's wonderful to just sit in the sun, and admire the rolling golden winter hills. I suggest you take binoculars.
Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue, Claire and John are the most incredible hosts and really go the extra mile. Highly recommend!
We had a friends wedding at The Red Barn and stayed at the Homestead for the weekend. Great accommodation. Great scenery. Awesome wedding venue.
