We just stopped for coffee on a Sunday morning. They'd just opened at 10am. Lovely friendly host opened up the playground for us and wiped down the tables. Great nostalgic atmosphere. Sunday roast was great. I just needed extra gravy, which they supplied in abundance. Local musician supplied music nonstop with good old classics. Well worth a visit.

Four motorcyclists had roast Sunday lunch, and it was great, even included yorkshire pudding. The actual place is decorated like a cross between a Scottish hunting lodge and an English country pub.
We were a big group who basically booked our the entire venue and they still took in additional people. It felt slightly cramped, but the service, atmosphere and amazing food made up for it.
