Buitenverwachting Restaurant - Constantia - Photo album

Having dined at many restaurants in Cape Town and South Africa, this restaurant was still beyond my expectations. For 3 diners the spring menu was quite a bargain at this level of cuisine. What really stood out for me was the clear uncluttered flavours. Everything on each plate complimented each oth
Wonderful fine dining experience at Beyond Restaurant. Unpretentious dishes complimented each element on the plate amazingly. Staff were attentive, and each course was delicious. Our favorite was the Brisket and Truffle Aioli and the Chicken and Duck Roulade 👌🏼 worth the visit, and the views into th
Stunning fine dining restaurant. Their lunch menus are great value for what it is. The vegetarian dishes here are excellent, flavour packed and shows off the skills of the kitchen with lots of different elements coming together. Ostrich tataki is a classic and duck was also lovely. Great range of wi
Spoilt for choice. Even on a rainy day, the view remains pleasing over the vineyard. Service impeccable - small request, no problem. The fine dinning venue serve food without disappointment. Reservation necessary to avoid disappointment.
A very beautiful farm, the picnic lawns are superb. The breakfast was good. Even though the restaurant was busy and food took a little long, the staff was pleasant and who wants to rush when the venue is beautiful anyway. A lovely experience 👌🏼
Love love love this gem of a place. For only R580-650 pp depending on which course you get we were blown away. We’re not usually a fan of set menus and fine dining places as their portions are usually miserably small but the portions were so satisfying here! My bf and I found ourselves smiling the
Incredible food. Amazing wine menu. Great fine dining experience.
As expected, super nice. They have so many details nailed down. The view and space is mesmerizing and so are the dishes plating. The only course that gave me some trouble were the desserts, just a little too much going on. (Not enough to put them down a star though, they were still very good) It is
We had lunch with a wonderful view to the vineyard. Food was great, service was on point. The waitress was very nice and friendly.
Expensive? Yes. Distance from CBD? Yes. But worth it. Simple the best service I have experienced in Cape Town. Food and wine pairing was divine. Bread plate very good. Meat selection pulled me from my recent vegetarian bender and it was delicious. The menu changes and we were there for new years bru
Fine dining at its best in a beautiful location. Attention to detail is outstanding as is the service. Portions are a good size and visually appetising. My guests were “wowed” and felt spoilt which was the aim. The Sauvignon Blanc is out of this world.
We went for dinner and we really enjoyed everything. The fun and relaxed service was the perfect frame for the super tasty dishes. Our favourite were the Brisket served with a truffle aioli, and the Iron Stake Wagyu , one meat not to be missed.
Very good experience. Interesting flavours done with local ingredients. For those who like a bit more saltiness they should put salt and pepper on the table. Definitely in the league of all the other high rated restaurants in Cape Town. Service was great as well. And you don't go home hungry :-)
So good we were lucky enough to get a booking again in a couple of weeks. We had eaten at Fyn , Beyond’s sister restaurant which was so incredible we were keen to try Beyond. The setting is spectacular in the heart of upper Constantia, set in the middle of the beautiful vineyards of the Buitenver
A beautiful place, with a beautiful view( Sunset view is the best). The food was good, presentation was lovely but the flavours weren’t so exciting-just fine. My crème brûlée’s crackling was not what I expected but the taste was good. The wine I had for the pairings was immature, but I got to enjo
Hands down the most delicious food I’ve ever had to date! Being a fine dining restaurant, meals are expensive & portions are relatively small, however, if you’re able & willing to treat yourself, I promise you will not be disappointed. I was so entranced by all the flavours I feel like I can barely
I had a lunch at the Beyond. The dishes was inspired by Japanese food, so I was able to really enjoy them. Location and atmosphere are very nice.
