Exceptional. Enjoyed my Wife's 40th and was special. Quant old style restuarant with staff and management that are hands on. Best meal we have had in ages. 5 *****!

I really loved the food and atmosphere at the Trout and Mallard. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are extremely friendly. To Sharmaine, Adele, Godfrey, Rosa, Petrus and Reggie, thank you so much for everything. You guys are awesome. Absolutely loved this restaurant, was there almost everyday. Brilliant service. Thank you guys.

Beautiful location, immaculate garden entrance, warm and inviting interior with a calming aroma. Friendly happy staff. Perfect for couples treatments. We opted for a medium full body, which was intense and invigorating. We'd definitely recommend this busy Spa in the mountains. One must book ahead.

I much prefer Caley Lodge to Kiara. our flat was much smaller and it was on the top floor with three flights of stairs. Not good for retired persons with knee problems. We ended up staying in as the stairs were hell
The lodge was neat and well maintained. Ideal for family spending time.The best part of the hoilday is to enjoy nature .Activities (hiking ,spa,indoor pool,few games ). Restaurants are limited options.
I had a full body massage and a facial. Both were awesome! The facial was to die for. One of the best I've ever had.
The staff were very professional and made me feel at home.
I highly recommend them. 👌👍🏼
BTW the unit we were in was just as awesome 👌. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. I liked that the interior was mainly light neutral colors. Staff were very hospitable and helpful. Everyone smiled and kept asking if we needed anything.
The amenities were excellent as well. Pity we didn't bring the kids with they would've loved it. We will definitely be back.

I make use of Holiday Club points when going to Kiara. I absolutely live going there. I have seen so much upgrading the past 15 years, that makes every visit exciting. I love the backdrop of surrounding mountains and the calmness you feel the moment you settled in.
My wife and I decided to spend our 30 wedding anniversary at the Kiara Lodge.
The rooms were fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for you.
We actually planned the stay at the Lodge due to it's proximity to the Golden Gate.
Although the Golden Gate was a bit of a disappointment, the Lodge made up for it.
Was a Bed & Breakfast scenario and neither of theses aspects were a let down as the rooms were cozy and well kept and the Breakfast was of a Hugh standard.
There is a 'Put-Put' course as well as various other entertaining feature like a massive baloon-type trampoline which really keeps the kids entertained.
The rooms have air conditioning as well as a fireplace which was very convenient for the wife and I especially during the chilly evenings.
Overall, I highly recommend the Kiara Lodge.
Everything about this resort is great. The accommodation, the facilities and the very friendly staff. The unit in which we stayed was very modern, clean and comfortable. It had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a good sized living area with a built in fireplace/stove and a lovely stoep with a built-in braai. The two couches in the living area can also be converted to beds for small kiddies. Unfortunately the pools were being revamped at the time of our visit, but we will just have to return to make use of the facility. There is a restaurant on the premises, we did however not order anything from it, but according to management the food is delicious and bookings essential as it is a very popular restaurant. Thank you, we had a lovely relaxing weekend at Kiara.
Most amazing experience. Kid friendly safe environment. Heated under cover pools and play areas for kids. Mountain hikes available. A short drive into Golden gate park. Friendly service.Dam for fishing, waterfall hike, bushmen cave art. Great area for bird lovers An altogether amazing experience.
We booked and didn't know there was an issue with one of the facilities and they didn't let us know so I had to change to another package which was slightly more expensive.
Also for the facial they use physical/mechanical exfoliation, it would be better to choose which option you want.
Over all, we really enjoyed it, it was calming, professional and a beautiful spa. Will definitely be back!
The worst thing about this place is leaving. Awesome time everytime we go. Can't wait to go again.
Beautiful, serene with indoor and outdoor play area for kids and clean and comfortable chalets. Kids loved the warm indoor pool, which had a big shallow end for non-swimmers and comfortable deck chairs for parents not inclined to join offspring. Only downside is the restaurant, which had limited halal options.
We had a great visit recently. Good place for the family, friendly staff and enjoyed heated swimming pool.

Stayed in a chalet which was reasonably priced, spotlessly clean and had great views of the valley and mountains. The lodge is very well run and has nice facilities for kids as well as many outdoor activities for adults. I am super impressed by this place.

Always a lovely place to visit and get away. Perfect spot just outside Clarens. Ideal for young and old and especially great for kids.
Neat gardens, Good Security, Strict rules regarding deposits. Neat and modern units. Some old damages not repaired though.
It's a great place for friends&family they will enjoy every moment of the journey 💯
