Absolutely great experience! Wonderful well prepared food. Great service. Creme Brulee outstanding. Best pork belly and the lamb shank was to die for! Chef Addo checks on all customers! Well done!
The good reviews brought me here. My expectations were high....nonetheless the food was exceptional. The chef/owner also made a turn at our table which showed that there was a great desire to please. This place should do very well. atmosphere was pleasant, service was good, bathroom clean and every
One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten, had the lamb shank with vegetables and divine mash, my partner had tempura prawns and we were both very satisfied. The portions are great, and the service is even better. A must if you’re in clarens and would like to eat out, I’ve been to clarens many times and
Excellent!! We had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and Pork Belly, both were delicious. Side dishes of Butternut and Spinach was excellent. Tiramisu and Crème Brûlèe were the best we've ever had. We will most definitely return again.
Excellent friendly and warm service, succulent food, serene atmosphere all one can ask for for lunch, supper. Really love the food every time I go there. This is my favourite dining spot in the Free State and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Clarens. The menu offers a great variety and s
This place is so quaint and cozy which is the general feeling you get from Clarens. The food is tasty and service is speedy. Chef Addo, who previously worked at Clemetines, is an experienced and friendly chef who personally goes to every table and enquires about the food. I would highly recommend th
Don't let the name (fine dining) put you off. Addo is the owner and chef and makes very good, homey food. Set away from the main hustle and bustle is Clarens, the food is as good as it gets in Clarens, reasonably priced and soon to have a great wine selection.
The lamb shank and oxtail that my girlfriend and I had was cooked to perfection, falling off the bone. The sauce was a bit safe and boring. The dishes livened up when we added some chillies. The cremè brulee was below par, but still tasty.
Late afternoon decision to have dinner and it well exceeded expectations. Food was great, service was engaging and friendly and Addo himself is a super pleasant person with an interesting story to tell. Highly recommended.
