The best milkshake I've ever had. I mean the best! I've come a long way with trying different milkshakes, but Milky Lane is the best. Great staff service too for bringing my shake to the food court. Much appreciated. Keep it up!

The soft swerve was really good. But I got a waffle which I didn’t enjoy at all. It tasted like eggs cooked in a waffle iron. Definitely never coming back for waffles here.

Pathetic customer service! I went there with my sister and my son yesterday (29/06/2018) to get some ice cream. My sister ordered a regular vanilla cone with Oreo toppings. We watched is absolute confusion when the lady serving us started filling up the cone with toppings before the ice cream. When my sister questioned what was happening the lady rudely declared "this is how we do it here!". Huh?? What's the point of toppings if they are going to be under the ice cream? There is a reason why they are called TOPPINGS (TOP being the operating word). Worst of all is that the owner was standing there watching all of this unfold and did not seem bothered that we were unhappy with the service.<br/><br/>Judging from other reviews; Milky Lane needs to review this particular franchise; they really bring the brand to disrepute!!

Waited forever for my waffles. Service really needs to be improved. What makes matters worse is that they don't where hair nets nor gloves while preparing the meals. I am beyond disgusted in this establishment.

Lovely small place to have some awesome ice creams at a very cheap price as well. Only vanilla is there but with different variations as well. Totally worth it.

Milky Lane always brings back childhood memories. And also, who's not a fan of ice-cream?! Vanilla is pretty much standard here but there's a variety of syrups (chocolate, strawberry, maple and golden - just to name a few) and toppings to add to jazz it up. They have a variety of savory and sweet options on the menu. I'd recommend sticking to the sweeter regular stuff - you really can't go wrong with a plain vanilla cone dipped in chocolate sauce or a banana and cinnamon waffle. The service is usually slow at this branch and I do wish the staff were friendlier.

Nice friendly owner, with poorly trained staff. Always go for waffles and they always deliver even offering to remake if the staff have messed up the order. Custom orders are accepted when requested and cheap enough to enjoy after some greasy fast food.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had when it comes to ice cream parlours in Cape Town. Milkylane offers one flavour. That's right folks, just one flavour and that wonderful flavour is vanilla. No strawberry, no mint, no chocolate..! So it's a complicated billing process - you order your vanilla size and tgen toppings but it gets super complicated because of all the different toping prices. Andile who assisted us was rude and just didn't give a damn...certainly not interested in explaining how it all works. Average ice cream, worse than pathetic service. I can think of a hundred other establishments with a better ice cream offering and sales people willing to oblige.

Milky lane brings back childhood memories so a visit now and again is a must. I usually go for the chocolate brownies or the cinnamon pancakes. Both are delicious yet simple. The service at this branch is slightly off but all in all a good place for filling a sweet craving.

The milk shake was really good, it tasted of chocolate and not that weird powder flavour that you get at other places. It was quite thick as well which means a substantial amount of ice cream was used which always nice.

Really not the best waffles in town. Came here today hoping for a cool, yummy tasting waffle and we were quite dissapointed. The ice cream was soft serve and all over the waffle. I couldn't even taste the waffle base, or the bar one sauce. Very little topping. The best part of my waffle was the banana which to be frank, was the only thing I could taste amongst the mass of flavourless ice cream.<br/>On top of that, we were given plastic knives and forks. I understand doing that for children but for adults? And finally at the end of my rant, we had to go and give our plates back to them.<br/>I am rarely irritated by food quality or service but this was definitely not the best experience I've ever had and I don't think I will be coming back.

Had a Custard surprise which was OK-ish. Cheap tasting cream and Custard tasted a bit weird at the bottom on the glass but top half was decent.

This seems to be my favourite milkylane as they always have what i want. Service is always good. I definitely recommend the spinach and feta pancake if you looking for savoury and the Bar one waffle is you want to go sweet. The pecan nut sundaes are also great. They make really good hot beverages too.
