We enjoyed the meal, more than what was expected because it’s situated in the food court with its own dining area. The dish was spicy and good! We had the seafood noodles with almonds.

Been coming here for a few years (since university) because they give restaurant-level food in a "Fast Food" Court. Chefs really know what they're doing, especially if you order it Hot. Staff are friendly and the manager, Simon, especially is great too. Service with a smile & adds a personal aspect missing from some other branches in the franchise. Definitely coming back if they keep this up.

Food was great regards loadshedding. Loved the soya & chilli sides. My first time having the rice, really enjoyed this filling & tasty dish. Prawn pasta dish was great too. My son's were waiting impatiently for their 514 takeaways. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Thanks to the chefs who definitely k ows their stuff. Can't wait to try some new next time.

This is my go-to sushi place, and on top of all, it's half price from Tuesday to Sunday, 12 pm to 6 pm! Their ramen is my favorite, and it so good when it spicier.

Simply Asia in Cavendish is under new ownership and it shows. This is the place to go if you're having a noise overload. The staff are fantastic, the food is amazing and my daughter and I left, ready to face the madness that is Cavendish on a Saturday. A huge thank you to Lynn and her family, who also own the Simply Asia in Kenilworth.

The food, staff and atmosphere is excellent. It's nice that they have seating within the restaurant which gives a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the mall. Tasty and healthy food. Definitely a go to when at Cavendish.

Thank you Simply Asia Cavendish👌💯💪🙌🙏👏 I personally work in the mall and do deliveries, I never had anything to eat whole day but when I got back I was deciding what to eat the only thing is I wanted something wholesome and enjoyable So I ordered myself the 558 and it was DELICIOUS 😛 compliments to the chef please! You guys are underrated and deserve every customer in the mall and more👍💯 THANK YOU!

great food. I love the food, at least the one's I've ordered. My personal fav is the 265 peanut sauce w chicken. Pad Thai is great too. Service is always great for me, albeit I don't often sit down, but the few times I did, the waitrons were friendly. I often have a craving for Thai food and this branch always fulfils me!

Highly recommended. On a Wednesday night, at 9pm, Delivery is often average...not the case here. I ordered Spinach and Basil Bites, Vegetable Soup, Basil and Chili Curry (This dish with beef, used to be my favorite, so I was worried about ordering it with Tofu - I have been veg for only a short time and have been so disappointed with veg/vegan delivery... until now)...Everything was amazing. It was that good, I called and complimented the Manager, Simon, who was polite, humble and I feel that if I did have a problem, he would be approachable. Thank you.

I decided to go for the chicken 530 with a medium spice level and I asked for not too much sauce as I have had past experiences where my noodles are basically swimming. The service here was slow, I had to wait until someone took my order even though I was ordering at the cash register for take-away and then I waited an extra 20 min for the food. The food ,however, was tasty and I did get value for my money.

The food was surprisingly nice. I haven’t had very good experiences in the past. I ordered the 319. I didn’t wait very long and the food was delicious. I only have 1 complaint and that is that I waited a little to be seated.

I always have the same dish (514 roast chili paste & cashew nut noodle) or the rice version of it so cannot comment on much but I always enjoy my meal when I crave Asian food. It's also great that it is available for delivery on various platforms orderin, MrD etc

Simply Asia has always been known for their good food and friendly service. However, my experience tonight has changed that- it was completely atrocious. My friend and I seated ourselves and grabbed the takeaway menus ourselves because the waitress and waitron were too busy talking to each other to come to our service straight away. When we ordered our starter and mains together, the waitron only specified that the starter would take long. We didn't wait long for the starter to arrive, but we did wait for a full HOUR for our mains to arrive. There were just two tables. One table that was already done eating and us. It wasn't even busy at all. After questioning the waitron, he told us that the chef prioritizes the take-aways instead of the sit-downs and that he has already told the manager about this problem. Surely if the waitron has told the manager about this recurring problem, he would do something about it??  While paying for the bill, we wanted to speak to the manager ourselves, but he was too busy having a fat conversation over the phone. He told us to wait. We have been waiting the ENTIRE night. I don't think I would ever go back to Simply Asia in Cavendish. Clearly customer satisfaction is at the bottom of their list!

I bought a takeaway noodle box (515 - peanut sauce with chicken) to share today. I've been to this branch before and found service to be slow so I opted for a takeaway today instead. I like that they changed the way the menu is set up and that they added new dishes. Portion sizes are quite generous and food is tasty.

Service is always slow, and the people taking your order in front are never friendly, especially the older white man. The food however, is always amazing. <br/><br/>A great place to buy Thai food takeaway, but I would not recommend sitting down and ordering food inside. You'd have a much more pleasant dining experience somewhere else.

Second meal at Simply Asia in 2 weeks! I must say they are very convenient for a quick snack before a movie. Cavendish one has become a tradition with us...Simply Asia and a movie! Michele had the Yellow noodles in peanut sauce with chicken. The vegetables were crispy and the chicken tender, overall pretty good flavour. I had the duck in Tamarind sauce. The duck was great but the sauce very salty. It's great fast food and healthier than some other actions nearby? I think!

I've heard stories about simply Asia so I decided to check out how true it is and guess what...it's the best amazing noodle bar...I love noodles and I'm so glad that simply Asia made them beautifully. I suggest people to try out. Keep an open mind when tasting the food.

It seems that I never learn my lesson from this place. I thought I'd give this place another try after a few awful take away experiences a few months ago. Being creature of habit I always end up ordering the same thing..the 408. I always give the brief- "please make sure the rice is fresh and soft" as I have received inedible rice before (how can you get it wrong, you use a rice cooker!!) I have complained countless times over meals that have been ordered and paid for which are inedible solely on the fact that the rice is dry and hard, I mean c'mon it's literally half the meal. I was promised a voucher from the manager yet still waiting on it months later.<br/>Yesterday's takeaway experience was the kind of disappointment you get when opening your Nando's meal, the feeling you just wasted your money on a meal that will only suffice as a starter. <br/>What was ordered:<br/>408 - had half the ingredients(came sans mushrooms and green beans), I ordered hot and could not taste a speck of chili. It was essentially raw peppers and tofu in dirty dish water.<br/>614 - ordered with glass noodles & specified it to be hot. Again, was less than mild. The noodles only filled half the box and there was NO calamari and very little "prawn" .<br/>So with a half a lunch I called and demanded a refund and was promised a phone call from the manager today, Monday working day is almost finished and still have not received any phone call or feedback. <br/>I suppose this is the kind of service they give. I once stood at the counter one quiet Saturday evening about to order when the lady behind the till turned her back to me and had a full on convo with her staff member. Only when I walked away did she then ask me if she could help. I had Burger King instead.

We had to seat ourselves after standing there for some time, waitress took a while to take our order and the food also took long to arrive so service isn't great. I usually prefer to phone ahead and get a take away, because I enjoy the noodles and will continue to rather do so in future.

Has simply asia's sushi always looked so skimpy?? Omw! Where you can literally count how much 'caviar' there is and where it says tempura prawn on top - there must have been an eigth of an actual prawn 😳 and the size of the tempura prawns - gosh! More batter than prawn i tell you. Will stick to Beluga or some other place.

Stopped in before an 8pm movie and wanted a quick bite to eat. I was going to go for a quick takeaway but the friendly staff assured me speedy service and persuaded me to sit down. I had their chicken pad thai and their duck spring rolls. Both were incredibly tasty and affordable, although I think the pad thai was sliiightly lacking in that true pad thai flavor department. Either way, a lovely meal and great service. My partner now thinks this is his new favorite meal over his regular chicken cashew nut.

Had the worst experience with the service here and it was from management. He did not greet when I greeted him then he got my order wrong and he did even ask what kind of hotness I wanted so my food turned out to be super bland. He was just rude through my experience here. <br/><br/>I go to Simply Asia here all the time but honestly annoyed at the rudeness by management. If you don't want to serve customers then please hire someone else who is willing to. You are not above your customers and honestly if I EVER do go back and I have the same treatment from management I'm honestly going to tell you straight to your face that you're rude. <br/><br/>You made my experience there super unpleasant and I'm honestly so disappointed at the fact that one person and their actions can put me off an entire dining experience/restaurant reputation.

For a fast food place, this is excellent! Just wholesome gluten free, yummy, space! I've been going here for years and truly can say I have never been disappointed. I'm always happier for wait 5 extra minutes when they busy! 😊👌🏻

I'm not a big fan of franchise food but simply Asia is pretty decent. Their portions are decently sized and the medium hot is starting to hit me. One point of improvement is the interior design. It could be less formal and have a bit more character.

I'm such a fan of Simply Asia and really love their menu and non oily food. They get that right. <br/><br/>This time we just wanted something light so opted for the starter plate of veg spring rolls, chicken spring rolls and sweetcorn cakes. The spring rolls are teeny weeny but tasted good. The dim sum was well below par. The best thing in the bamboo steamer was the bed of cabbage. the dim sum was hard, tough & tasteless and the wraps were torn and soggy. The waiter told me they probably hadn't been microwaved enough. Not the thing to tell a customer....

Had the most terrible and disappointing experience tonight. I am a regular and loyal fan of Simply Asia but after tonight I doubt I will ever visit again, particularly this branch. We ordered the 514 to-go and immediately regretted it upon the first bite. The chicken was bland, lacked seasoning and was virtually inedible. I avoided the chicken entirely and somewhat felt sick afterward.

Simply Asia consistently delivers tasty Thai food for reasonable prices. Their portions seem small but are extremely filling. The wait time for take-aways is quite long, so I would order ahead!<br/><br/>For June and July this year they have 2-for-1 noodles from Monday to Wednesday, so definitely don't miss out on this sweet deal! I highly recommend the 514.

Generally despite the long wait at Simply Asia the service levels are good and you get great tasting food like my personal favorite the legendary 514, they do have those nights where they tend to get so overwhelmed that the food isn't that great tasting. The one meal we ordered was too salty and not flavored as hot as we had asked.

This branch is generally one of the best. Unfortunately tonight was a disaster. The 2 for 1 special caused havoc it seems. They could not cope. Messed up my order - too salty and not hot as I ordered and took way too long. Eventually had to take my food home.... Seems like they were short of staff at the counter.. Really hope this was just a bad night. Will give them one more try..

Simply Asia is quite popular, I enjoy their noodle dishes especially the 514 had something new today it was really enjoyable but the waiting time can be terrible.

The nice thing about this chain is that it is consistent. It's not the best most authentic Thai food around but is tasty and accessible and really convent in a night in. I recommend that if you haven't tried it you should.

It was the first time that I've had a simply Asia dish 514 hot that was not overpowering with heat and I'm one to say I can take heat. Usually I'd get bad and slow service from simply Asia as a whole but yesterday it was really good I waited no longer than 10 minutes for my meal. Maybe it was due to me only being their 7th customer at the time. Really enjoyed it.

Enjoy simply asia from time to time. The service is good and so is the food. My favorite is the 514. It's spicy and delicious. Sitting in or takeaway have both been good with no complaints.<br/>I also enjoy their chocolate spring rolls.

Great Thai and Asian cuisine, even though quite pricey. The food is prepared well and the staff are quite friendly. I would recommend meal 505. Definitely a great Asian takeaway spot. I've sat down a few times and once I tried their chocolate spring rolls, wow so delicious! It's paired with ice-cream and makes for an unconventional dessert.

I enjoy eating at this branch because staff and manager/owner on the premises are very friendly and warm. The food is delicious and easily accessible when you are craving Thai. My favourites from the menu include the chicken spring rolls, chicken satay, 514 (chicken with cashew nuts in a roasted chilli paste) and the chilli tamarind duck. <br/><br/>I'm not really too impressed with their desserts - I tried the deep fried banana which is a tiny portion and never tastes fresh. However, I still think it's a good place to grab some takeout, or sit in a peaceful environment, a little isolated from the crazy bustle of Cavendish food court.

For some time the quality at this branch went down. I was a bit hesitant to have it today, after a long time, for the same reason but I was pleasantly surprised.<br/><br/>I had my favourite 514 that was fresh and delicious exactly how I love it.<br/><br/>I had a really friendly and attentive waiter.<br/><br/>So happy this branch improved just in time for Winter and I definitely will be getting take-aways more often from here.<br/>

While the food is fabulous, the wait is ridiculously long. Not the first time we have this experience. Apparently the Mr. Delivery orders get first preference in the queue.

The noodles here are one of the best I've ever had. I love that the food is freshly cooked and the flavoring is really amazing. It's definitely one of the favorites.

They used to serve really good food until the management changed. Poor service. Poor food. Sloppy waiters. Very unprofessional. <br/>Disappointing.

Service is pathetic. Ever since they've got new staff, they haven't been upto scratch. Can't get a good order right and can see the chefs eating while cooking. Horrible.

I love Simply Asia! Their 514 order is excellent, tasty and filling and the restaurant is one of my favourite places for take-out. Only problem is that it's getting quite expensive now :(

Really disappointed. Ordered 603 for home delivery. The food was BURNT. Just from opening the take away box I could already smell that it was burnt. The calamari rings were not properly defrosted nor properly cooked. Not worth my money at all.

Back at a place that I detest with a passion,<br/>Needed to please my son, he wanted 622<br/>Seems to be a hit with him😳<br/>So we have 18 people in the restaurant and get told by the manager that the food will take about 25 mins.<br/>Seated myself as not one of the waiters where interested in assisting with one of the four tables that was available.<br/>Not sure if the restaurant is a self seating joint.<br/>Anyway, service as usual shocking,<br/>At least that is consistent. <br/>Seems the manager has different levels of service, he looks after those who seem to be regulars and leaves the rest to fend for ourselves.

Often order from this Simply Asia when at work. The food is good and the staff friendly. The place has a nice cozy atmosphere even though its in the middle of a busy food court.
