Originally booked for the square restaurant. Upon entry a gentleman redirected us to the Garden Lounge instead. Very strange? Who turns away a table of six? The experience was excellent at the Garden Lounge. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The lady clearly never had our booking. But she directed us to another reserved seating. The venue is beautiful and relaxing. Felt like I was transported into precolonial era. This is clearly an old era establishment. It is reflected in every facet, from decor to service etc. Can be a negative or a positive.
Impeccable service from start to finish. Friendly and attentive staff from the doorman to the waiting staff. The garden and restaurant were breathtaking. The giant tortoise was a nice surprise! Even though it was very busy we still received excellent and impressively fast service. Shout out to our waitress who suggested great dishes that were insanely delicious. Great atmosphere and lovely place all round. Will definitely be back and spread the word about this awesome place!
Lovely lunch overlooking the beautiful gardens at the Vineyard Hotel. Small lunch menu but very reasonably priced and food was great. Service was also good. We took a walk through the beautiful gardens after lunch.
We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the patio of the Vineyard Hotel, overlooking their immaculate gardens! Service was outstanding! I had the cheese board which should be listed as a share option. The platter was generously filled with cheeses and bread assortments. Well priced too!
The cheesecake is very good for pudding or tea. Beautiful views of the garden and mountain. Comfortable armchairs.
They were so helpful to adjust my salad to be vegetarian. The scenery is delightful.
And the local wildlife, the tortoises, are so fun to watch.
Great wines. And the huge garden that you can have a walk in is wonderful.
