The staff are super friendly and efficient. The whole place was a vibe. Carl the manager is just Amazing a total servant leader and overall great host. We were super stuffed by the amazing delicious food. Thank you we are definitely coming back!!!!

The service was very excellent🤌. The food was delicious but the cheesecake kinda tasted funny, however, the crumbs and the ice cream elevated the dish. The Mac n cheese balls were the star of the show!!🔥 Highly recommend! The experience overall was really amazing, I will try the cheesecake on a different day, maybe i just had a bad experience.

A fantastic restaurant with really good food and beverages. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the service is fast. There is inside and outside seating, and most of the venue is wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms are on the right of the bar with a small sign, which is easy to miss nevertheless it's clean. There verious seating options, from high tables and stools to benchs outside.

Great for a Friday night out and ideal for staff functions or birthdays. Very friendly staff, timeous service and great weekly specials. This Tiger's Milk branch is spacious, warm, and welcoming. Ideally located with ample street parking or covered parking across the way at Cavendish Square.

Tigers Milk Claremont is an amazing spot to grab a bite to eat! They have a fantastic selection of tasty food and drinks, including some seriously mouthwatering burgers. I highly recommend the Triple Bypass Burger - it was juicy and delicious! I paired it with a coffee milkshake that was equally as delicious. I also ordered a latte, which brought my total to £12.50 (R250) including a voluntary tip. The staff at Tigers Milk were friendly, although I didn't catch the waitress's name as she didn't mention it (as far as I can recall). The atmosphere was lively and had a rustic feel to it. There's WiFi available, although I didn't get a chance to test it out. That said, I'm not sure if Tigers Milk is the best spot for remote workers, though. One thing to note is that Tigers Milk can be a bit pricey compared to some other restaurants in the city. If you're on a budget, you might want to check out Four & Twenty in Wynberg - they have a great selection of sustainably sourced foods at slightly more affordable prices. That said, Four & Twenty doesn't offer the same variety of delicious burgers and shakes that Tigers Milk does. Despite this, Tigers Milk is a popular chain with several branches throughout the city, so they must be doing something right! If you're willing to splurge a little bit on a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving Tigers Milk a try. It would be great if they could offer some more affordable options for those on a budget. Perhaps they could consider offering a value meal or a daily special with a lower price point. Another way they could improve pricing is by offering discounts for students or for those who dine in during off-peak hours. This could help attract a larger customer base and make Tigers Milk more accessible to those who might otherwise be unable to afford it.

Had such an amazing time watching SA play France in the rugby world cup quarter finals on Saturday. Was such a VIBE! Thank you Carl for arranging the table for us and making it such a effortless and convenient process. From time of arrival till the game ended the service was excellent. Will defiantly frequent this spot.

Absolutely amazing service and food. It is highly rare that you get such friendly and on the ball service these days. The food and drinks were on time, another rare thing to experience and the atmosphere was pumping as always. Manager Carl always made sure not only our table but every customer in there had a blast and was satisfied. Tigers milk claremont certainly ticks all the boxes EVERY,SINLGE,TIME. Pleased with my first experience at Tiger's Milk, in Claremont. It was for a birthday dinner and the staff (Jessica) was extremely friendly and helpful to any of our questions and requests. She was very knowledgeable and proactive and should be acknowledged for her customer service skills. This left a good impression already and when eating at the restaurant, the other staff were equally friendly and attentive. I most appreciate that they went out of their way to make my friend's birthday special by agreeing to bring a cake with a message written on the plate. This was a special touch. The ambience of the restaurant is great, loved the nostalgic touch with all the photos and bits and pieces. It's spacious, I just found it a tad loud to have a conversation. Also the toilets could be signed out just a liiitle bit better, e.g. on the other side so you can see the way when looking from the other way. Food was good. Great portion-size, and I appreciated that they cater to vegan/vegetarians. I do think the vegan options could be slightly more, but I was most impressed with the options that were available, so thank you for catering to all. The vegan burger was super tasty, albeit a tad on the bland side. However, there are plenty of sauces available to spruce it up to your liking and that's a big bonus as tastes vary. Overall, a great place to eat that I would happily recommend. Thank you!

Good vibe. Good music. Perfect for letting loose after a long day at work. The staff is super friendly and the service is great!! The manager Rubi is a gem and she made us feel looked after. The food is also good, I would highly recommend the mac n cheese bacon bombs; they are tasty, filling and affordable for dining on a budget! :)

Great services Excellent environment, even better mood if you sit outside. Burger....very meaty and juicy...and the truffle... you will love it. Having a local South Africa beer... perfect After the meal, you can also try their signature cocktail - Gin up my cobbler - to get a wonderful finish.

Claremont branch. Honestly the worst experience at a restaurant I’ve had. After being seated it took the waiter 10 minutes to come ask for our drinks. Don Pedro’s are half a glass. The waiter then disappeared until I had to call her to take our food order 30 minutes later. I watched my burger sit there ready for pick up with anther ten or so burgers so by the time it came it was ice cold. There was very limited mushroom sauce on that the burger could have been a plain burger. All in all we where there for 2 hours and won’t be coming back.

My rating would be poor, but our previous experiences at this establishment have been a lot better. However, last night, service was non-existent. Had to go to the bar to place our drinks orders and almost laced our food orders there as well. Food took forever and when it finally arrived, the toast starter was more toast with a dab of cheese and hint of ham. The burgers (Triple Bypass) were dry, buns stale, and we found some sauce eventually...The entire time that we were there people were coming to the front asking for service or what was going on. Pity, as we really have enjoyed coming here...

Terrible service. Place wasn’t even full. Food came out at 30minute intervals. We attempted to cancel 2 orders as the rest of the table had already finished eating long ago but then it was brought to the table anyway roughly over an hour later. The manager then comes and says the waiter will pay if we don’t accept the food. Pretty unlawful practices but also to tell the client is just shocking. We were basically forced to have cold take aways at those exorbitant prices. On top of it all the food was also very bad. NEVER AGAIN.

Given it's close proximity to work and home, I come to this place a LOT. Love the burgers and drinks,but the service is APPALLING to say the least. EVERY single time I come here I need to wait years to place my order and then receive my food. There was a day when we ordered drinks, then later ordered food. The food came before the drinks! I think this place has immense potential and the staff are super friendly but there is something about how this place is being managed that just doesn't seem to be right. I don't know if it's the fact that there isn't enough staff or that the staff just doesn't want to serve customers (I suspect it's the former). Please sort this out guys!

The place itself is very nice, and the staff friendly. However, service was very very slow. On more than one occasion we had to get up to go look for the waitress. They don't seem to have a system regarding which tables they serve..

The service was really bad. Took them 20 minutes just to bring our drink orders and it took another 10 minutes just to catch one of the servers attention to get a top up. The food also took so much longer that usual to get to the table and was cold as the half the meal was standing on the food pass for long. The cheese on the nachos has gotten hard already. Wouldnt go back to the claremont branch.

So I usually enjoy tigers milk everytime I visit. But tonight our waiter was abit strange. We had 2 slices of pizza left which the waiter asked to clear, my boyfriend then said no we are still going to eat it. The waiter then asked if it's okay if he can have it to give to the guy who cleans his car. At this point we were so shocked we just obliged. Later on, the waiter thought it was appropriate to tell us a story about his ex girlfriend. It was very cringe. Waiters should know their boundaries and not ask for customers food.

Although we've been keen to go, this is the first time we've been to Tiger's milk, on Mother's Day nogal! I have to admit, we were not disappointed. The place was cozy and cool at the same time, The service was great and so was the drinks. I had the Mexican Burger with roast butternut & feta as a side and Linda had the Corny chicken salad. The rest of the party also loved their food, and we stayed quite a while. I'm sure we'll be back soon!

Was seated at 16.10. Restaurant not busy. By 16.29 we were still not served or approached by a waiter. Left at 16.35. Someone asked at the door if they could assist. We thanked them for the delightful service. Was at Tigers Milk Long Street today. Smaller but better service. Clearly not a well run establishment

Great food and friendly, attentive waitrons. Burgers are superb and the chips compliment them very well. The Menu offers a plethora of mouth watering meals. The cocktail selection is great and the deserts are very good, especially the chocolate brownie. Value for money is decent. Great tasting food.

Our night started off beautifully at another establishment and as the night progressed we decided it was time to move on. We have been to Tiger's Milk in Cape Town and often visit the Muizenberg branch. Both of those are fantastic.<br/><br/>After arriving at Tiger's Milk Claremont, we ordered a round of drinks. However, these took longer than expected to arrive. We even had, who seemed to be, the manager approach our group of 10 people and he started going on about what a dry group we were and how we really need to order some drinks to keep the party going. We told him we had already ordered our drinks and had been waiting for the drinks to arrive.<br/><br/>Next the food. The food was great but one person in our group only recieved his pizza a while after the rest of us had finished our food.<br/><br/>Back to the drinks, what drinks you might ask? We must have skipped 2 rounds of drinks as there was no service. Eventually we decided to get dom Pedro's to finish off the night. We ordered 4. However, after a very long wait we only received 3 and it was only ice cream and it had no kahlua in it. We kindly told the waiter to leave the drinks and rather just bring the bill as by this time we had had enough and everyone just wanted to leave.<br/><br/>We were told there was a rush of people and that's why the service was taking so long, but when we looked around the place was half empty and it was a Friday night. The entire situation could have been handled better, and at the end of the night we did not even get an apology, not even for the dom Pedro's.<br/><br/>The worst part was that after having started off a great evening at the first establishment, our night was ruined by bad service at Tiger's Milk Claremont. I highly doubt we will visit this branch again.<br/>

Had the Evil Twin burger, a normal burger with a slice of cheese and truffle infused mushroom sauce and a plate of chicken Nachos. Food was very average. I found the truffle infused mushroom sauce to be very flavourful but everything else was average. Would perhaps try something different from the menu but definitely not the nachos.

Food is quite average and not generously-portioned. The only reason I would return is for their decent 2-for-1 drinks special before seven. I tried their daiquiris, which are very strong and less of a slushy texture than usual daiquiris. More a place for pres than for their food. I have since had their pizza as a takeaway - their vegetarian pizza was delicious. Thin, crispy bases and generous toppings.

Had the pepperoni pizza. The base was nice as it was thin and crispy. The flavor was very good too. The wait was long. Pizza isn't cheap though

A group of us were invited by a friend to watch a World Cup match at Tigers Milk Claremont - on the House. <br/><br/>I decided to try the vegetarian platter. From the description it sounded great, but it was pretty average when it arrived. Their so-called sliders are not sliders, it’s just cut a big burger into quarters. Also, their cheesy fries... well it’s just normal fries with some grated Parmesan sprinkled over it. For someone that loves cheese and always tries anything smothered in cheese it was definitely a disappointment. <br/><br/>Staff were also not very well educated regarding the menu. I asked two different waiters the same question and I got two different answers eg. Are the onion rings done in a beer batter? First I got ‘yes’ then I got ‘no’. #Confused<br/><br/>The highlight of the night was definitely the dessert course. The brownies are some of the best I’ve had, they are just the way I like it, rich, dense and filled with nuts. The cheese cake wasn’t bad either. But I’ll go back for those brownies any day.

Unfortunately a group of us didn't have the best experience. Even though the waiter was very polite and apologetic the food was below standard for the reputation of the establishment. Most of our burgers came cold to the point that the cheese on them was rubberlike. In addition the two grilled calamri dishes that were ordered came cold aswell and without any green sauce, which was only provided when asked, and my freind's side order was completely wrong.<br/>I was very disappointed with my side salad as it consisted of mainly lettuce drenched in dressing with one or two cut tomatoes, a few poorly cut pieces of cucumber and one or two olives.<br/>But on the good side the ribs were said to be fantastic and so was the lentil and bean veggie burger.<br/>All in all we expected a better experience and left the resutant disappointed.

Very pleasant vibe with rustic bare facade. I had a Peperoni pizza (not the most adventuristic, but a good way to judge the food on common ground). It was amazing! Tasty, well seasoned and thin crust. The staff were friendly, but the serving time was a bit longer than I would prefer, but I had good food and good beer so it was a good day!

The ambience and service of Tigers milk is lovely. I had the pork ribs with fries and onion rings. The ribs themselves were not to my liking as I don't love the concept of BBQ sauce on pork. The sides were to die for! I'd definitely recommend the place just maybe opt for something other than the ribs.

Not the best veggie burger I’ve had (certainly overpriced for the quality of it) but everything else was fine. The atmosphere is good on busy nights, but I wish the food quality could be improved to match the price stamps.

Visited this outlet for first time in months and was disappointed with the Avo and Feta Salad with extra chicken. The presentation change meant less crispy onions and chicken...the plate was dominated by a mound of lettuce. It was still tasty though! I ordered a gin and tonic but the 'runner' suggested a Gin slinger when the bill arrived I was floored by the R105 price tag. Don't get caught like me...check the menu before ordering.

The restaurant has a cute outdoor setting with hanging plants and fairy lights. Our waitress was very attentive and her service excellent. We wanted to eat but the kitchen had already closed. She went to the manager and begged him to put our orders through - and he did! Rating it a 4 cause my friend's burger was just good not great. Overall had quite the pleasant experience.

Really great service but the veggie burger was really not worth the price - R95 For a grilled mushroom on a bun with some veg and hummus, completely not worth it and not really any thought put into the burger at all, very little flavour or texture. Consider actually making a vegetarian burger patty and maybe you will merit the price you charge.

Tiger's Milk is a good place for a sit down with friends at happy hour. The food is alright, but expensive. They do have a great selectin of drinks and the chips are spectacular. But in my opinion there's nothing really special bout this place. Tiger's Milk is a great establishment but I think this specific one is a miss.

So my girlfriend and I try and go on a date night once a month. Yesterday, the 27th of Feb, we chose Tigers Milk Claremont. The atmosphere is relaxed, the music eclectic and our waiter, Dominic, was great. His quiet sense of humour and approachable manner added to our evening. However, the food I received detracted. I ordered a ‘bacon, avo and feta’ pizza with added mushroom. Unfortunately, for R125 plus R18 for added mushroom, I received a pizza with 8 small pieces of feta and 1 chopped mushroom. Disappointing. For R143 I expect far better than that. We debated alerting management of this but we decided not to as this was date night and we didn’t want to make a scene. We put it down to a ‘learning moment’. So, we’l probably go back but with a slight sense of apprehension. My advice, don’t order the bacon, avo and feta pizza. You will probably be disappointed. My girlfriend’s burger looked great though. I’ve rated this restaurant a 3 purely because of Dominic, based on food it deserves a two.

I'm in love ... so first of all the restaurant looks great ... and then I happen to accidentally walk in when it's like 5 minutes before happy hour ends. It gets better when I find out that there's wine on the happy hour list by the bottle as well as the glass... then we get burgers the moaning midnight and the rockstar ... both meals were lovely but honestly shout out to the loaning midnight 😍😍... I have to eat that again . The service first of all was outbid this world someone was asking me if I needed something every few minutes. I loved the whole experience, I'm going back next week ☺️. Went to Tiger's Milk Claremont at like 9:30pm Wednesday night. Hubby ordered a bourbon based cocktail, which he enjoyed, we shared a divine bacon, avo and feta pizza, and I had a pina colada and a strawberry and sherbet cocktail. We enjoyed what We ate and drank but enjoyed the outside deck's decor more. The staff were open, honest, approachable and friendly and all who walked past us asked if we were enjoying our experience and wanted to know if they could do anything else for us.<br/><br/>Good food + cocktails + good service = regular patrons

Just visited here for their New York style baked cheesecake and boy, was it a hit. Average service and interesting decor that'll keep you and company entertained... Although that cheesecake; that's what this review is really all about!!

If you are on a good cheesecake hunt. Then look no further. Tiger's milk has one of the best plain, baked cheesecakes I've ever had, with a good vanilla ice cream to compliment it.

Friday after work drinks.<br/>Service good. drinks good. burger good = happy camper :)<br/>I had the Tiger's Milk Lager and Tree Hugger burger. Burgers were top choice of the evening, but the one pizza on the table (Bacon & Avo) looks divinnne - definitely will be back to sample that!

Tried this place out a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I weren't too hungry so we decided to get 3 different starters to nibble. What a mistake! We ordered calamari, wings, chicken strips and chips. The only decent thing was the chips. To add, things were not at all cheap, felt like such a waste of money. The burgers and pizza are very average. I don't see the appeal of this place, I'd definitely go to Hudson's instead.

I have been to the Tiger's Milk in Muizenberg a lot and decided to try out the new branch. The service was amazing and our waiter was great. I had my usual burger and I was slightly disappointed with it. The patty was burnt on the outside and there was very little sauce on my burger compared to the one of many I've had before however the taste was still amazing. My friend had a steak and said it was bit bland, they seemed to use less basting sauce but she said it was edible. The venue is amazing.

The Claremont space is quite large. Visited on a Sunday so service was speedy and our waiter was fantastic. Loved my steak, perfect to conquer the crave!

Great burgers an pizza .. Friendly waiters ..very trendy relaxed vibe. Awesome place for group dining ,hanging with friends or casual celebrations .. Will be back to try the desserts !!

Had a pleasant dining experience .Apart from being reluctant to try it out because of the limited vegetarian options ,their truffle fries with aoli and vegetarian pizza with aubergines was to die for.

This place is pretty awful. When it first opened I was excited but it quickly went downhill and now it's usually sticky it without the decor is beautiful the dirtiness just kind of killed it for me. It has good potential but maybe it's poorly managed?

Good location but in serious need of some experienced tlc. Most of our crowd have given them a chance at one time seeing as they have a good variety of craft beer. That being said you leave feeling unsatisfied and slightly cheated. All of the bar staff feel under qualified and lost. Food is "shmeh" (reluctant vegetarian options, and grill that doesn't live up to the Muizies branch.)

Definitely my favourite branch and the venue is great and staff friendly. They have amazing beer, only complaint is that they need to add vegetarian and vegan options to their menu.

I had a takeaway Avo & Feta cheese salad with extra mushrooms here which was plentiful and satisfying. <br/><br/>The mushrooms were well cooked and oozed with interesting flavours. Would have preferred if the tomatoes were grilled and diced, but the dish still came together nicely.

I was in Claremont in search of a good spot to sip a beer while getting work done on my laptop with the necessary Wi-Fi.<br/><br/>The manager confirmed that the Wi-Fi was stable, but after I sat down and ordered a beer it turned out the Wi-Fi was down. When I asked about it she said, in these words: "This is not an internet cafe".<br/><br/>I realise that restaurants don't always have good Wi-Fi, which is exactly why I make a point of it to ask before assuming. The manager's lack of truthfulness and inconsiderate reaction made the 50 rand craft beers ( I've had those beers elsewhere for way less) not worth it.<br/><br/>

I stopped in here with friends to munch on some pizza and sip on some wine earlier this week. Lovely venue, great ambience, and wasn't busy at all - unsurprising considering it was just before payday and, in the words of Jon Snow, winter is coming. <br/><br/>The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks selection is pretty varied and their pizzas were really tasty. That said, the menu isn't very vegetarian-friendly, and their were a couple of veggies at our table. We were a bit shocked that the Starters section didn't include one vegetarian item. Definitely order the pizzas when you're here, though (although they did seem to take quite a while, odd, because it was so quiet). They're thin-based and have a great balance of cheese and topping.

We were a large group of people. Waiters kept changing and we were quite confused as to who our waiter was most of the time. Service was slow and some of our orders were mixed up or wrong. Better than the Muizenberg venue. Less rowdy and same good quality food. I do wish the menu had more options as you pretty much get the choice of pizza and burgers only.

My boyfriend and I came in today, it was our first time there and we were so excited to be there. We were Sat for 30mins without any service but people around us were being attended to.... We are so disappointed we just walked away and it wasn't busy

Very nice vibe in the restaurant. I'd been waiting a very long time to try it out, however the service was not great so obviously the food took a long time. Was disappointed that they didn't have waffles on the menu although it was advertised that they did. The food itself lacked a kick on flavour and was overall a bit dull. Fortunately good company saved the night bit I will surely try again sometime :)

Visited with the kids after a mega session jumping @ Rush. Service was good- so was the food. Nothing wow- but tasty, well presented- served in good time and big enough portions. Loved the spacious interior.

I think the other branches are better , it's way too dead and empty. I love the pizza's so decided to try a burger. I didn't enjoy it the party didn't taste like anything and the guacamole was so sour. Some more commercial music would also be great as there's no atmosphere.

Good service but surprisingly expensive (and it doesn't have the view that the one at Surfer's Corner, Muizenberg has) and the food was good but not worth it, in my view. Affordable wines are also scarce on the menu.  With so many other places to choose from around there, I don't think I will be back to the Claremont branch.

The food is good however could definitely be better, they have very limited vegetarian options so you might have to settle for a pizza.<br/>The centre of attention is the fully loaded bar with a wide selection of drinks that can be mixed up to your livers desire.

Visited this branch for the first time and was pleasantly surprised when they told us it was 30% off everything for happy hour (5-7pm). Had the vegetarian Tree Hugger burger which had aubergine black mushrooms, feta, blue cheese and a yummy sauce. The portion was good and the food was presented beautifully. The cheesecake that we shared was creamy and delicious. I managed to have a starter, burger and desert and drink for only R110. My friend really enjoyed the rump steak.

Consistently good! Tigers milk has become a highly frequented 'safe spot' for me to go with a bunch of friends.. kind of place that keeps everyone happy, whether you're looking to grab a bite or have a few beers. As long as you're not trying to fit a range of specific dietary requirements, this place is a complete no-brainer. It has a wonderful charm and vibey atmosphere, yet remains unpretentious and easy-going for all crowds. Love the franchise!

Oh my word, this place is amazing. Had Saturday lunch there and wow...the cocktails were on point and the food were delicious. The pork ribs I had were succulent and I suggest people to try it out. I wouldn't change anything. Most importantly the dessert was mouth watering, scrumptious, heavenly..I know I just used a number of adjectives that mean the same thing but damn..the dessert made me feel that way. I recommend anyone to go there be it a date or study session or a hang out.

Had lunch here. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Had the magic mushroom burger and the pulled pork pizza. Both were good. If I had to pick between the two I would probably go more for the burger. Can't really say much about their service cause it was empty when we ate there so as expected it was quick. Will be back

Great, fast, friendly service. Good food and good crushed Mojitos. One of the better ones to visit. It's nice and big and doesn't get as crowded as Muizenberg so if you're into a more chilled vibe or evening drinks after work rather than a party, Claremont is the one to go to. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back any day! I found myself there twice in one week after my first visit. Highly impressed. Well done! I would recommend the Mushroom Burger and a crushed Mojito. I also added truffle aoili and Parmesan to the regular fries that come with your burger. It's well worth the small extra cost.

A bit of a let down if I'm honest. We were so excited when this Tiger's Milk branch opened but after half a year of operating, they still havn't managed to get basic service right. After being taken to our table, we were completely ignored and there was no sign of a waiter taking notice of us sitting there DESPITE the restaurant being mostly empty. When we were eventually served, it took another 10 minutes to be given glasses and have our wine opened. The restaurant really has the potential to be a hit, something made obvious by the delicious burgers that we had. The pizzas looked great too and the whole atmosphere is welcoming and the place is very spacious. While we didn't wait long at all for our food and my Step Child chicken burger was particularly yummy, they really need to make a huge improvement on basic customer service. I would be happy to give them a second chance but it won't be any time soon.

Finally!!! And it was great. Just had chicken wings with a 'side' of chips which was more like a platter and my friend had hers with a small salad. Glass of vino and you're set! Food was great and service was friendly and efficient! Definitely will be back. Took an uber to avoid all the traffic and parking nightmares.

The reviews are bad and I cannot understand why. <br/>We were a group of 8 people and every single one of us enjoyed it, from the appetizers to the milkshakes. <br/><br/>The place is pretty, our waitress was very nice, pregnant and all she kept on checking up on us with a big smile on her face and the food never took long nor the drinks. <br/><br/>I had wings for starters and thank goodness it was actually wings and not winglets like most places these days, their blue cheese sauce was heavenly! It had REAL blue cheese pieces in it!! <br/>I must say their Burgers are amazing even though I never ordered it personally, the Sirloin steak was nice and filling too! <br/>We also ordered a Pizza Bianca which had nothing on but added Cheese as an extra and they were very shy to put cheese on I must add but I did not complain as the thin base made up for it. <br/>If you love A Sweet Milkshake, their Bar One shake is definitely worth a try. <br/> <br/>Surely going back.

For a place that is always empty, the service is horribly slow. The waiters aren't attentive and the food takes too long for a restaurant that has less than 15 people at any given time. The food is also quite average-nothing to write home about

Looks great from the outside so we decided to give it a try. A large variety of meals to choose from. Burgers, pizzas, meat, salads... <br/><br/>We tried the calamari and had a few beers. I would say this is an average place - the service wasn't that great.

Very very underwhelmed honestly. The service was not the best really for such a day that was hardly busy. I feel like the staff members were not much attention to us & it was all just an unfortunate experience for me really. I ordered earl grey tea & specifically mentioned that i wanted it with warm milk but it came with ICEberg COLD milk that ended up making my tea cold.. Meanwhile, ordering food took forever because no waiter was available to take our order there was literally a time gap on 30 mins from when we were served drinks to when we ordered food. Really and truly unimpressed!!! I can't even thoroughly explain the food because i had the food for take outs instead, I couldn't stay any longer. I don't think that I ever will intend on returning.

Decent food (starters). Very poor service. Waited over two hours for my burger, after which I cancelled it.<br/><br/>Waitress arguing with customers about their orders taking too long.... Apparently two hours is "normal". Another waiter arguing with my friend, trying to convince him that their "wrong" order is actually the "right" order. Of course, it's the customer's fault. Very distasteful service.<br/><br/>Venue need to train their waiters & chefs properly or replace them all immediately. The latter would be the cheapest. <br/><br/>Will not be visiting again. Really disappointed. Venue had such a good vibe to start out with.

Don't bother coming here. Terrible service, and although the place looks great, with great attention to decor detail, it lacks everything else. Food was tasteless. Steak was over cooked and chips were fried so many times it was basically eating oil. Lack of flavour and completely disappointing....

The best thing about this restaurant is the space - it is very open and overall has a very nice and almost warm vibe despite it being very big and somewhat industrial looking. I had a catch up dinner with a friend that lasted about three hours last night, and we were in no way chased or rushed so overall the service is great.<br/>I had the cheeseburger which was nice but nothing out of this world. I would definitely recommend this place though for a nice evening out with friends.

Great ambience inside and a wide selection of drinks at the bar. The only problem was that you can't sit outside and order anything with alcohol because it is not owned by Tiger's Milk and is public property.

Always a fan of Tigers Milk and their Claremont Branch is great. It's a lovely open plan, spacious restaurant that creates a great social dining setting. I always go for the burgers and today I have the evil twin and as per usual it was delicious and tasty. My friends had the fillet and ribs and ribeye and they all thoroughly enjoyed it and they were grilled to perfection

Outstanding service, we had a small problem with the food and all the staff handled it with aplomb. I know it's been a slow start for this branch but I'm really impressed after today. Will be back!

Vibey spot. Nice addition to the Claremont eating scene. Food was surprisingly good and not too pricey. Cool decor as well. Lots of attention to detail. Will definitely be back soon.

Absolutely delicious! 1st time here for lunch, the service was wonderful, our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant wasn't too busy which is perfect (in my opinion). The food was scrumptious! I had the triple bypass burger and my mate had the lamb pizza. Cocktails were 👌👌👌! Definitely returning!

Wow what a disappointment. I'm rating this 2, 1 for the service and 1 for the decor. After hearing great reviews about their other branches I was excited to try this one that is close to home, but what a let down. Aside from the decor and friendly staff the food lacked taste, it was not memorable for the prices they charge and the menus lacks variety. The outdoor seating is not cornered off and anyone within the Claremont area can walk through while you having your expensive, tasteless meal. I'm glad I went and tried it to satisfy my curiosity but will not be returning to any of their branches

The pizza was very good. This place doesn't seem to be doing as well as I thought it would but it really is a must see and it has so much more potential , their menu doesn't have much really , I went for the chicken wings and they were too salty .

This was my second visit to the Claremont Tiger's Milk since it opened. My friend tried numerous times to make a booking but no one was answering the phone. We were told that they're having issues with the fire marshals and are on their second warning, so despite the many free tables inside we had to sit outside. It wasn't too chilly so we didn't mind, however if you sit outside you're not allowed to order any alcohol. We were quite disappointed with the service all round and management made minimal effort to help.<br/><br/>The food, on the other hand, was excellent! Everyone at the table loved their meals. On Tuesday's they also have a special - buy any two mains and get the cheaper one free.<br/><br/>Tigre's Milk have set up a really great spot in Claremont, so hopefully their liquor license (and their issues with the fire marshals) are sorted out soon!

From the outside it looks amazing, but when we wanted to try it a few weeks ago we were told on a cold day that they couldn't seat us inside because they hadn't gotten their fire safety certificate, so decided to go somewhere else. Wanted to try it out again 3 weeks later tonight .. and this time we at least made it inside. Very nice look and decor and our waiter was great. Unfortunately that's all this place has to offer. There was no vibe and could not hear over the noise of the construction going on inside the restaurant! It was 6pm and this really should not be done while paying customers are inside. Clearly this restaurant is not ready to be open because even the one bathroom is still under construction, to "fix this" they have set up the only bathroom they have as a unisex bathroom, however the men's urinals are out in the open for the opposite sex to see right next to the basins. Poor ladies. Not acceptable. Thought the food would at least make up for it but it was trying way to hard. My burger was extremely dry and bland and my salad was 90% lettuce. I don't ever write reviews on Zamato but I felt like I was cheated out of my money and helped pay for their expensive decor and the rest of the restaurants construction.

I think it is was a great idea for Tigers Milk to aquire a space in Claremont, to create some competition with the surrounding restaurants, and the area they have chosen is especially convenient and central. We met up with some friends on Friday night, for afterwork drinks and snacks. I opted for the starter green calamari (which has a pesto sauce) and Dario chose a 200g sirloin with a side salad. Others at the table, had chicken wings, a caprese salad, ans pizza. The space has an industrial feel to it, with exposed pipes and brick and a great wooden bar, to go with it. The only improvement I think they could make, is that the restaurant isn't busy and bustling, especially for a Friday night. Was there yesterday, for lunch, with the girlfriend and her two two nieces. They really loved the interior decoration of the steam punk theme. The portion sizes are really huge and in most cases if you're not too hungry, you can share. I had a the bacon Avo and feta pizza which had a perfect thin base. Really enjoyed it. Waiters were friendly. Would definitely go again.

After reading very mixed reviews about this place, I decided to try it for myself especially after I saw a bread and butter pudding from here on my Instagram feed! So I arrived in the lunch hour and they were busy but not full. As mentioned in other reviews, they have an expansive restaurant with an urban industrial feel. I was quickly attended to and offered a drink as I was seated. The service was quick and pleasant. My pudding was such a delight. Warm bread and butter pudding with raisins and flaked almonds, topped with fresh cream and caramel sauce and served with cold custard. Really enjoyed the very generous helping. The menu is high priced for the competitors in the area but I'd consider going back to try a burger.

While this place still seems to be finding it's feet, it was very impressive nevertheless! The restaurant is done up very well and it is a very pleasant environment in which to dine. The Menu is the standard Tiger's Milk and the quality of the food really good. I can highly recommend the pizza's🍕All in all it was a good afternoon!

Tiger's Milk recently opened up in Claremont and I visited on the second day that they had been opened. I really liked the set up and atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. I ordered the Oreo milkshake. It seemed like it was just a normal chocolate milkshake though that was topped with Oreos. I still enjoyed it. To eat my friend and I shared a portion of their chips and focaccia. Both were enjoyable. I would definitely like to visit again for drinks and their burgers.

I was really looking forward to trying this new trendy place in Claremont, which seemed like it could be a new perfect place for meeting up with friends during both the day and night . However I left TM rather disappointed. <br/><br/>The decor and interior looks lovely- chic and chilled. It's rather annoying though having people walk through the outside area as you're eating and drinking, they should really corner it off for customers only. It would make for a better experience.<br/><br/>Our waitress was pleasant, albeit service was rather slow which I had been warned about in advance by friends. It was quiet when we were there, but after being given the bill, we had to wait 30 minutes ( we did check!) to be attended to when we wanted to pay. It was made even more irritating watching her attend to new customers, coming in and out to see to them, whilst we were just sitting there. It was quiet, so there was really no excuse. A colleague could have helped us but there was no one else to be seen outside. <br/><br/>I was looking forward to trying the food, which other TM reviews have raved about. However it seems like I went to a different restaurant, because it really didn't live up to the expectations. The burger and chips weren't memorable in the slightest. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't have it again- it was actually rather tasteless. I was hungry so it did fill the hole, maybe I just got unlucky, but I was so disappointed because it looked tasty. Presentation was great, but the paper that the burger is placed on rips easily so be careful you don't accidentally eat a bit. For the price, around R100 for the food, it was so not worth it. Hudsons, across the road, is cheaper and a lot tastier! The drinks are also expensive, as noted by another reviewer- R25 for a small glass of juice. <br/>They would do themselves a favour if they catered to students. <br/><br/>It's a new restaurant, so I can understand they'll need some time to stand on their own two feet. But we're really not fussy people who don't expect much, but we still left disappointed. Unfortunately, I had to advise friends and family not to bother for now. Maybe I'll try it again in the future when it's more established, but for now, I'll stick to Hudsons across the road. <br/><br/>

Having been to the branch on Long Street, I was curious to see what this new opening offered. I really like the setting with an expansive outdoor seating option and chic indoor decor. The burgers were great and there is a good selection of drinks. Really glad a decent bar is available in Claremont! Will be returning soon.

Sereshan Pillay and I had previously been to the branch in Long Street and the burgers were amazing, so I had high expectations for Claremont - they did not disappoint! The food was even better than I remembered. There are outside heaters and the inside area is very spacious. Would highly recommend it.

I was skeptical about trying this restaurant at first but I'm glad I did,the ribs were delicious and tasty. The menu caters for everyone will definitely be returning.

Tigers Milk Claremont opened up a week ago, and I've already been there twice! They couldn't have chosen a better location. I was so surprised when I walked in - they have so much floor space and a relatively big bar area. The starters are all really good and our pizza was made really well! <br/>If you are going there just for drinks, it is quite expensive, but you're paying for the location and set up. Definitely worth the visit.
