Although we've been keen to go, this is the first time we've been to Tiger's milk, on Mother's Day nogal! I have to admit, we were not disappointed. The place was cozy and cool at the same time, The service was great and so was the drinks. I had the Mexican Burger with roast butternut & feta as a side and Linda had the Corny chicken salad. The rest of the party also loved their food, and we stayed quite a while. I'm sure we'll be back soon!
Great food and friendly, attentive waitrons. Burgers are superb and the chips compliment them very well. The Menu offers a plethora of mouth watering meals. The cocktail selection is great and the deserts are very good, especially the chocolate brownie. Value for money is decent. Great tasting food.
Very pleasant vibe with rustic bare facade. I had a Peperoni pizza (not the most adventuristic, but a good way to judge the food on common ground). It was amazing! Tasty, well seasoned and thin crust. The staff were friendly, but the serving time was a bit longer than I would prefer, but I had good food and good beer so it was a good day!

The restaurant has a cute outdoor setting with hanging plants and fairy lights. Our waitress was very attentive and her service excellent. We wanted to eat but the kitchen had already closed. She went to the manager and begged him to put our orders through - and he did! Rating it a 4 cause my friend's burger was just good not great. Overall had quite the pleasant experience.
Tiger's Milk is a good place for a sit down with friends at happy hour. The food is alright, but expensive. They do have a great selectin of drinks and the chips are spectacular. But in my opinion there's nothing really special bout this place. Tiger's Milk is a great establishment but I think this specific one is a miss.
I'm in love ... so first of all the restaurant looks great ... and then I happen to accidentally walk in when it's like 5 minutes before happy hour ends. It gets better when I find out that there's wine on the happy hour list by the bottle as well as the glass... then we get burgers the moaning midnight and the rockstar ... both meals were lovely but honestly shout out to the loaning midnight 😍😍... I have to eat that again . The service first of all was outbid this world someone was asking me if I needed something every few minutes. I loved the whole experience, I'm going back next week ☺️. Went to Tiger's Milk Claremont at like 9:30pm Wednesday night. Hubby ordered a bourbon based cocktail, which he enjoyed, we shared a divine bacon, avo and feta pizza, and I had a pina colada and a strawberry and sherbet cocktail. We enjoyed what We ate and drank but enjoyed the outside deck's decor more. The staff were open, honest, approachable and friendly and all who walked past us asked if we were enjoying our experience and wanted to know if they could do anything else for us.
Good food + cocktails + good service = regular patrons
Just visited here for their New York style baked cheesecake and boy, was it a hit. Average service and interesting decor that'll keep you and company entertained... Although that cheesecake; that's what this review is really all about!!
If you are on a good cheesecake hunt. Then look no further. Tiger's milk has one of the best plain, baked cheesecakes I've ever had, with a good vanilla ice cream to compliment it.

I had the Tiger's Milk Lager and Tree Hugger burger. Burgers were top choice of the evening, but the one pizza on the table (Bacon & Avo) looks divinnne - definitely will be back to sample that!
Went here for drinks with colleagues. Still can't believe they have happy hour on their house wine. Ill be coming here for drinks after work. Anyway, the service was excellent. Food was great too.
I have been to the Tiger's Milk in Muizenberg a lot and decided to try out the new branch. The service was amazing and our waiter was great. I had my usual burger and I was slightly disappointed with it. The patty was burnt on the outside and there was very little sauce on my burger compared to the one of many I've had before however the taste was still amazing. My friend had a steak and said it was bit bland, they seemed to use less basting sauce but she said it was edible. The venue is amazing.
The Claremont space is quite large. Visited on a Sunday so service was speedy and our waiter was fantastic. Loved my steak, perfect to conquer the crave!

Had a pleasant dining experience .Apart from being reluctant to try it out because of the limited vegetarian options ,their truffle fries with aoli and vegetarian pizza with aubergines was to die for.
Definitely my favourite branch and the venue is great and staff friendly. They have amazing beer, only complaint is that they need to add vegetarian and vegan options to their menu.
I had a takeaway Avo & Feta cheese salad with extra mushrooms here which was plentiful and satisfying.
The mushrooms were well cooked and oozed with interesting flavours. Would have preferred if the tomatoes were grilled and diced, but the dish still came together nicely.
I stopped in here with friends to munch on some pizza and sip on some wine earlier this week. Lovely venue, great ambience, and wasn't busy at all - unsurprising considering it was just before payday and, in the words of Jon Snow, winter is coming.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks selection is pretty varied and their pizzas were really tasty. That said, the menu isn't very vegetarian-friendly, and their were a couple of veggies at our table. We were a bit shocked that the Starters section didn't include one vegetarian item. Definitely order the pizzas when you're here, though (although they did seem to take quite a while, odd, because it was so quiet). They're thin-based and have a great balance of cheese and topping.
Best burgers I've ever had! Friendly staff and vibey place! Would highly recommend the Triple Bypass burger with an ice cold beer on the side!

Visited with the kids after a mega session jumping @ Rush. Service was good- so was the food. Nothing wow- but tasty, well presented- served in good time and big enough portions. Loved the spacious interior.
Good service but surprisingly expensive (and it doesn't have the view that the one at Surfer's Corner, Muizenberg has) and the food was good but not worth it, in my view. Affordable wines are also scarce on the menu. With so many other places to choose from around there, I don't think I will be back to the Claremont branch.
Visited this branch for the first time and was pleasantly surprised when they told us it was 30% off everything for happy hour (5-7pm). Had the vegetarian Tree Hugger burger which had aubergine black mushrooms, feta, blue cheese and a yummy sauce. The portion was good and the food was presented beautifully. The cheesecake that we shared was creamy and delicious. I managed to have a starter, burger and desert and drink for only R110. My friend really enjoyed the rump steak.
Consistently good! Tigers milk has become a highly frequented 'safe spot' for me to go with a bunch of friends.. kind of place that keeps everyone happy, whether you're looking to grab a bite or have a few beers. As long as you're not trying to fit a range of specific dietary requirements, this place is a complete no-brainer. It has a wonderful charm and vibey atmosphere, yet remains unpretentious and easy-going for all crowds. Love the franchise!
Oh my word, this place is amazing. Had Saturday lunch there and wow...the cocktails were on point and the food were delicious. The pork ribs I had were succulent and I suggest people to try it out. I wouldn't change anything. Most importantly the dessert was mouth watering, scrumptious, heavenly..I know I just used a number of adjectives that mean the same thing but damn..the dessert made me feel that way. I recommend anyone to go there be it a date or study session or a hang out.
Had lunch here. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Had the magic mushroom burger and the pulled pork pizza. Both were good. If I had to pick between the two I would probably go more for the burger. Can't really say much about their service cause it was empty when we ate there so as expected it was quick. Will be back
Great, fast, friendly service. Good food and good crushed Mojitos. One of the better ones to visit. It's nice and big and doesn't get as crowded as Muizenberg so if you're into a more chilled vibe or evening drinks after work rather than a party, Claremont is the one to go to. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back any day! I found myself there twice in one week after my first visit. Highly impressed. Well done! I would recommend the Mushroom Burger and a crushed Mojito. I also added truffle aoili and Parmesan to the regular fries that come with your burger. It's well worth the small extra cost.
Finally!!! And it was great. Just had chicken wings with a 'side' of chips which was more like a platter and my friend had hers with a small salad. Glass of vino and you're set! Food was great and service was friendly and efficient! Definitely will be back. Took an uber to avoid all the traffic and parking nightmares.

We were a group of 8 people and every single one of us enjoyed it, from the appetizers to the milkshakes.
The place is pretty, our waitress was very nice, pregnant and all she kept on checking up on us with a big smile on her face and the food never took long nor the drinks.
I had wings for starters and thank goodness it was actually wings and not winglets like most places these days, their blue cheese sauce was heavenly! It had REAL blue cheese pieces in it!!
I must say their Burgers are amazing even though I never ordered it personally, the Sirloin steak was nice and filling too!
We also ordered a Pizza Bianca which had nothing on but added Cheese as an extra and they were very shy to put cheese on I must add but I did not complain as the thin base made up for it.
If you love A Sweet Milkshake, their Bar One shake is definitely worth a try.

The best thing about this restaurant is the space - it is very open and overall has a very nice and almost warm vibe despite it being very big and somewhat industrial looking. I had a catch up dinner with a friend that lasted about three hours last night, and we were in no way chased or rushed so overall the service is great.
I had the cheeseburger which was nice but nothing out of this world. I would definitely recommend this place though for a nice evening out with friends.
Great ambience inside and a wide selection of drinks at the bar. The only problem was that you can't sit outside and order anything with alcohol because it is not owned by Tiger's Milk and is public property.
Always a fan of Tigers Milk and their Claremont Branch is great. It's a lovely open plan, spacious restaurant that creates a great social dining setting. I always go for the burgers and today I have the evil twin and as per usual it was delicious and tasty. My friends had the fillet and ribs and ribeye and they all thoroughly enjoyed it and they were grilled to perfection
Outstanding service, we had a small problem with the food and all the staff handled it with aplomb. I know it's been a slow start for this branch but I'm really impressed after today. Will be back!

Absolutely delicious! 1st time here for lunch, the service was wonderful, our waitress was very attentive. The restaurant wasn't too busy which is perfect (in my opinion). The food was scrumptious! I had the triple bypass burger and my mate had the lamb pizza. Cocktails were 👌👌👌! Definitely returning!
The pizza was very good. This place doesn't seem to be doing as well as I thought it would but it really is a must see and it has so much more potential , their menu doesn't have much really , I went for the chicken wings and they were too salty .

I think it is was a great idea for Tigers Milk to aquire a space in Claremont, to create some competition with the surrounding restaurants, and the area they have chosen is especially convenient and central. We met up with some friends on Friday night, for afterwork drinks and snacks. I opted for the starter green calamari (which has a pesto sauce) and Dario chose a 200g sirloin with a side salad. Others at the table, had chicken wings, a caprese salad, ans pizza. The space has an industrial feel to it, with exposed pipes and brick and a great wooden bar, to go with it. The only improvement I think they could make, is that the restaurant isn't busy and bustling, especially for a Friday night. If you go to the Canal Walk branch, for instance, they have music playing, lots of movement and activity, whereas this is slightly quiet and reserved, especially for an area with lots of students.

Was there yesterday, for lunch, with the girlfriend and her two two nieces. They really loved the interior decoration of the steam punk theme. The portion sizes are really huge and in most cases if you're not too hungry, you can share. I had a the bacon Avo and feta pizza which had a perfect thin base. Really enjoyed it. Waiters were friendly. Would definitely go again.
After reading very mixed reviews about this place, I decided to try it for myself especially after I saw a bread and butter pudding from here on my Instagram feed! So I arrived in the lunch hour and they were busy but not full. As mentioned in other reviews, they have an expansive restaurant with an urban industrial feel. I was quickly attended to and offered a drink as I was seated. The service was quick and pleasant. My pudding was such a delight. Warm bread and butter pudding with raisins and flaked almonds, topped with fresh cream and caramel sauce and served with cold custard. Really enjoyed the very generous helping. The menu is high priced for the competitors in the area but I'd consider going back to try a burger.
While this place still seems to be finding it's feet, it was very impressive nevertheless! The restaurant is done up very well and it is a very pleasant environment in which to dine. The Menu is the standard Tiger's Milk and the quality of the food really good. I can highly recommend the pizza's🍕All in all it was a good afternoon!
Tiger's Milk recently opened up in Claremont and I visited on the second day that they had been opened. I really liked the set up and atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. I ordered the Oreo milkshake. It seemed like it was just a normal chocolate milkshake though that was topped with Oreos. I still enjoyed it. To eat my friend and I shared a portion of their chips and focaccia. Both were enjoyable. I would definitely like to visit again for drinks and their burgers.
Having been to the branch on Long Street, I was curious to see what this new opening offered. I really like the setting with an expansive outdoor seating option and chic indoor decor. The burgers were great and there is a good selection of drinks. Really glad a decent bar is available in Claremont! Will be returning soon.
Sereshan Pillay and I had previously been to the branch in Long Street and the burgers were amazing, so I had high expectations for Claremont - they did not disappoint! The food was even better than I remembered. There are outside heaters and the inside area is very spacious. Would highly recommend it.

Tigers Milk Claremont opened up a week ago, and I've already been there twice! They couldn't have chosen a better location. I was so surprised when I walked in - they have so much floor space and a relatively big bar area. The starters are all really good and our pizza was made really well!
If you are going there just for drinks, it is quite expensive, but you're paying for the location and set up. Definitely worth the visit.
The staff are super friendly and efficient. The whole place was a vibe. Carl the manager is just Amazing a total servant leader and overall great host. We were super stuffed by the amazing delicious food. Thank you we are definitely coming back!!!!
The service was very excellent🤌. The food was delicious but the cheesecake kinda tasted funny, however, the crumbs and the ice cream elevated the dish. The Mac n cheese balls were the star of the show!!🔥 Highly recommend! The experience overall was really amazing, I will try the cheesecake on a different day, maybe i just had a bad experience.

A fantastic restaurant with really good food and beverages. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the service is fast. There is inside and outside seating, and most of the venue is wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms are on the right of the bar with a small sign, which is easy to miss nevertheless it's clean. There verious seating options, from high tables and stools to benchs outside.
Great for a Friday night out and ideal for staff functions or birthdays. Very friendly staff, timeous service and great weekly specials. This Tiger's Milk branch is spacious, warm, and welcoming. Ideally located with ample street parking or covered parking across the way at Cavendish Square.

Tigers Milk Claremont is an amazing spot to grab a bite to eat! They have a fantastic selection of tasty food and drinks, including some seriously mouthwatering burgers. I highly recommend the Triple Bypass Burger - it was juicy and delicious! I paired it with a coffee milkshake that was equally as delicious. I also ordered a latte, which brought my total to £12.50 (R250) including a voluntary tip.
The staff at Tigers Milk were friendly, although I didn't catch the waitress's name as she didn't mention it (as far as I can recall). The atmosphere was lively and had a rustic feel to it. There's WiFi available, although I didn't get a chance to test it out. That said, I'm not sure if Tigers Milk is the best spot for remote workers, though.
One thing to note is that Tigers Milk can be a bit pricey compared to some other restaurants in the city. If you're on a budget, you might want to check out Four & Twenty in Wynberg - they have a great selection of sustainably sourced foods at slightly more affordable prices. That said, Four & Twenty doesn't offer the same variety of delicious burgers and shakes that Tigers Milk does.
Despite this, Tigers Milk is a popular chain with several branches throughout the city, so they must be doing something right! If you're willing to splurge a little bit on a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving Tigers Milk a try.
It would be great if they could offer some more affordable options for those on a budget. Perhaps they could consider offering a value meal or a daily special with a lower price point.
Another way they could improve pricing is by offering discounts for students or for those who dine in during off-peak hours. This could help attract a larger customer base and make Tigers Milk more accessible to those who might otherwise be unable to afford it.
Had such an amazing time watching SA play France in the rugby world cup quarter finals on Saturday. Was such a VIBE! Thank you Carl for arranging the table for us and making it such a effortless and convenient process. From time of arrival till the game ended the service was excellent. Will defiantly frequent this spot.

It is highly rare that you get such friendly and on the ball service these days. The food and drinks were on time, another rare thing to experience and the atmosphere was pumping as always.

Pleased with my first experience at Tiger's Milk, in Claremont. It was for a birthday dinner and the staff (Jessica) was extremely friendly and helpful to any of our questions and requests. She was very knowledgeable and proactive and should be acknowledged for her customer service skills. This left a good impression already and when eating at the restaurant, the other staff were equally friendly and attentive. I most appreciate that they went out of their way to make my friend's birthday special by agreeing to bring a cake with a message written on the plate. This was a special touch.
The ambience of the restaurant is great, loved the nostalgic touch with all the photos and bits and pieces. It's spacious, I just found it a tad loud to have a conversation. Also the toilets could be signed out just a liiitle bit better, e.g. on the other side so you can see the way when looking from the other way.
Food was good. Great portion-size, and I appreciated that they cater to vegan/vegetarians. I do think the vegan options could be slightly more, but I was most impressed with the options that were available, so thank you for catering to all. The vegan burger was super tasty, albeit a tad on the bland side. However, there are plenty of sauces available to spruce it up to your liking and that's a big bonus as tastes vary.
Overall, a great place to eat that I would happily recommend. Thank you!
Good vibe. Good music. Perfect for letting loose after a long day at work. The staff is super friendly and the service is great!! The manager Rubi is a gem and she made us feel looked after. The food is also good, I would highly recommend the mac n cheese bacon bombs; they are tasty, filling and affordable for dining on a budget! :)
