Great to meet owner and have a friendly chat.. but dreadful coffee and cappuccino ☕️☹️ such a pity. Bought the Anys rusks but although fresh just no aniseed flavour. Loved the quirky decor, old fashioned sweets and home preserves.. would definitely pop in again and hope for a real quality coffee.

Friendly owners and staff. With a homely rustic feel. The store and restaurant is dog friendly and the owners went out of their way to accommodate our 3 dogs while we had a cofee and a delicious snack. This store also serves as an information centre.
Lovely, quaint place we stopped at on our way to Ladysmith. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely lunch here during our pitstop.
Stopped off at this tiny little shop in Chrissiesmeer for a quick bite to eat. Amazing little home industry shop. Toasted sandwiches with homemade bread. Very reasonable. Very friendly. That will be our new pitstop instead of anywhere in Ermelo.
Just stopped in for take away coffee and biscuits. Such friendly people, nice rustic decor and really good biscuits! Keen to stop by again.
Really loved the experience. Jannie is a great host and shared some of Chrissiesmeer's history with us. Their pies are excellent and we went home with delicious koeksisters. Great place!!

Very interesting place, beautifully nostalgic that invites a remembrance of what we can only describe as the good old times. There are lots of gems to be found inside, my personal favourite is the fresh milk that the owner fetches directly from the farm everyday and also selling at a very good price
