This was our absolute Hilite of getting away, and on Day one
What a place, and we drove past so many times. So happy we saw them mentioned on TV and stopped. What an atmosphere, sat outside in the Garden. Beer Quarts, ice cold, a nice bottle wine. Our Food, wow, wow... Eisbein and a Chicken Pizza. D
The Billiard room is one of our favorite spots to visit despite being 175km from home and this visit was no exception. But a big Shout Out to the staff... absolutely incredible attitude and way with people, even drunken rugby supporters. We were so impressed and will visit again many times just to
We took a small break from driving here and had a drink. The waitress was really kind and in a very good mood as she kept singing to herself. Added to the atmosphere. We did not have anything to eat.
It's a great place to stop for a body break on route. The more than 100 year old trees create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There are great history stories to be appreciated.
The meals are delicious and the coffee is good. You can try a graft gin if you'd like.
The restrooms are in good condit

Beautiful setting, with outdoor and indoor seating available, in the country-side. The wood-fired pizzas were phenomenal. Awesome variety and excellent flavours. Friendly and helpful service. Sitile's bubbly laughter added another level to her superb service. Coupled with scrumptious food made for a lovely dinnertime. A hidden gem.
