Review Five River's North Indian Cuisine - Centurion

The ' Five Rivers' is the best and most authentic Indian restaurant I have come across so far- and I have been to quite a few. From the first moment we felt so welcome in this outstandingly gorgeous place- it felt like stepping into the Maharajah's palace ! High quality furniture combined with amazing furnishings and decorations make this place feel so special- and we felt like royalty. It was all spotless, even down to the bathroom. The waiters were very friendly and polite, in a natural manner. We hardly had any waiting time for the food , and this food is the best Indian food we have ever tasted ! Spicy and flavoursome, very good portions , the meat so tender you didn't need a knife. The Mango Lassi we had for desert was also lovely. We can only thank the staff for an amazing evening in " Little India' .Should we ever return to Prague, this is the place we will return to !

This restaurant is really beautifully decorated in traditional Indian design. We came in on a week night and were seated right away. We ordered a butter chicken curry and a lamb mughlai curry with some rice and plain naan. The butter chicken is definitely heavy on the tomato side and is not too sweet. The lamb curry was delicious but slightly on the salty side. Luckily the two curries balanced each others flavours out quite well so we enjoyed our meal. The naan bread was great. Having visited many highly rated Indian restaurants during my time in Europe, service here was a little disappointing compared to other restaurants I have visited. The conversation with the waiter around how much we will be tipping didn’t end our experience on the highest note. The bill came to around 40 euros which is a little more than we’d usually pay for an Indian meal. Nonetheless, a great Indian restaurant to try if you’re after a break from the Czech cuisine!

I am very critical for food in Indian restaurants, where they are not authentic rather custom to local needs… I would say almost after a year this is the most amazing Indian food I had… Every food item was really good.. It’s worth to give it a try for Authentic Indian Food

The best Indian I have ever eaten. The butter chicken sauce was amazing, the Lamb Rogan Josh was so tender and juicy. The samosa were delicious. The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully.

One Saturday night we dived in as we got an urge for good Indian food. The restaurant is spacious and open with interesting decor, I've not seen an Indian quite like it. The food was lovely, portions were appropriate. I would go back again.

Five Rivers restaurant is a great place for fine Indian dining. The interior is very classy and beautifully designed. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. We had very delicious appetizers on hot plates - Brokkoli and mushrooms. Main course was Karahi Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. Definitely a recommendation 👍🏻

We had an apartment in the same house on the roof and then the cookers of the Five Rivers are starting to preparing the food by pre cooking for the day everything smelled Indian well so the desicion to visit the restaurant was close to this smelling experience. We ordered two hours before some food for pick up personally and everything went well. The taste of the food is awesome there and the mango lassi there s must 🙂

Nice location, awesome inside decoration and very tasty food. We opted for the buffet option and being vegetarian, found all the vegetarian food so tasty. Service was nice too, the staff used to turn up quickly. We ordered gulab jamun for dessert.

The range of dishes available was impressive, covering the culinary traditions from different regions of India. From aromatic biryanis and creamy curries to flavorful tandoori specialties and delectable street food-inspired appetizers, there was something to please every palate. The balance of flavors in each dish was remarkable, demonstrating the skill and expertise of the chefs.

A very nice stylish Indian restaurant. Well set out in style Indian maharajah theme. Was busy when I visited. Food was good and had plenty of flavour. Good portion size, sightly prices, but worth the money. Very good services from the staff. Thank you Five Rivers for fantastic meal.

This is an authentic Indian Restaurant with awesome taste of food and great vibes and interiors! We are vegetarians and visited twice while we were in Prague! Grt spread of north Indian food and special mention for crispy n thin lacha paratha here! Once we also had food in the buffet which was offered in lunch time and had a decent spread and taste! Grt staff and prompt responses! Much recommended!

Short Review: "VALUE FOR MONEY" Long Review: Usually I am skeptical about visiting Indian restaurants in Europe as majority of them dilute the spice levels. I was amazed to have gotten authentic flavours of Indian food at five rivers. Ambience is very royal and shows glimpse of "Sikh" kingdom. Food was delicious and staff was very polite and courteous. Prices were also responsible! I would recommend to anyone who wants to try Indian food in Prague.

Heavenly delicious and authentic absolutely no meat dinner on my 2nd day at Prague (celebrate Vesak Day on 3rd June 2023). So blessed to chance upon this restaurant with Fantastic ambience, friendly and sincere service staff who is very confident with his recommendations based on our requests for vegetarian option. I must say that now-a-days, whenever you ask for recommendations, many other restaurants’ workers either just tell you all is good or highlight their own preference. The staff here at Five Rivers are 5 stars 🌟 in standards. Well done! Wishing your business thrive always! We are absolutely blessed to nourish ourselves with excellent food and services after a wonderful urban forest therapy session around the old town💝💯.

The place is close to city center and can be easily located. The ambience was lovely with Punjabi touch. We ordered Tomato Soup, Kadhai Paneer, Kulcha and Tandoor Roti which was very tasty. The place is busy, so recommend you making reservation in advance. The only reason it is not 5 star is they do not offer tap water and force you to buy drink/water. I think this is basic to provide tap water at every restaurant, would expect them to address this.

It’s one of the great place to have Indian food. The food was really delicious along with the services, and most important the atmosphere was totally Indian including music or language, felt a feeling of India being in Czech. Must try food. Being pure vegetarian, asked about the separation cooking process and it was there so felt comfortable in having the food. As they prepare for Jain food as well. Nice 👍🏻
