Review Mugg And Bean - Centurion

Dirk Grobler
2017-09-26 Good service and a breakfast to match as can be expected from any Mugg & Bean restaurant. They even served my breakfast before official opening time in the morning. Credence's (waiter) friendly service was heartwarming. Well done and keep it up M&B team. 2017-09-27 Yet another good experience with with great food and service to match from waiter "Nomore". 2017-09-28 & 29 Two more breakfast memories at Mugg & Bean Forest Hill. 2017-10-02 My week's stay has come to an end with another great breakfast. Thanks Credence and Nomore for your excellent service. Way to go M&B team. You are my first choice wherever I go 'cause you understand the formula.

Mugg & Bean is always good. Quality of the food is excellent. The waiters are friendy and management quick to answer any questions or deal with complaints. The shop unfortunately is quite due to the mall seemingly dying a slow death. Many shops are closed and some busy closing down.

Always love going to Mugg and Bean . Food never disappoints me. Service is always great and the staff is very friendly. They are always innovative with their food so the menu changes every now and then. Their healthier meals are the best!

The menu offered some really great variety and the meal I chose was quite delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter was attentive, polite and efficient. It was overall a really great experience - I'd definitely go back!

The Mugg & Bean at Forist Hill is quiet during the week which is good. Their breakfasts are always fantastic as well as all the other foods. I recommend it to everybody.

Staff attentive & the standard M&B menu. But it was pleasant. The mall was extremely quiet though, so not very busy in the shop.

The quietest Mugg&Bean that I've ever been to and I've been to many. The Mall is dead quiet and so many shops that, are closed. That is very scary and indicative of the state of our economy.

Likely off of the worst service experiences ever. There was no one to seat us.Restaurant was probably about a quarter full. After waiting for a few minutes we eventually sat at a table, was empty but was clearly poorly wiped down. After several minutes i went and looked for waiter, there were several around but none seemed keen on service.To@ok several minutes before someone came to table to take order. After serving drinks we did not see anyone for the next 25 minutes at which time i called for the bill.Had the most uninterested lady come to give us the bill.No thank you' or pleasantries exchanged. Cant see this place surviving.Worst waiters, poor service and no order...ps You should be welcoming clients at the front of your restaurant.May solve half the problem.better trained staff as well...

It took 45 minutes to get food on the table. The waitress was not even bothered . I think I am more upset at myself for waiting all this for bad service instead of walking away. I will never come back to this place again.

Dismal service. Waitress only visited the table twice. Had to reach out to other staff for assistance. One of our two meals ordered, never arrived. And yet managed to find it's way onto our bill, which of course made matters worse. Manager made a turn, for what it's worth.

This is our most frequented spot when we craving our favourite coffee freezos' or a quick and easy no fuss meal. My favourite is the sesame crusted chicken salad with sweet potatoe fries and my liefie's is the monte cristo salad. What I love most about this mugg and bean is the feeling of familiarity amongst the waiters. We are always welcomed with a warm smile, followed by friendly conversation. This is definitely the differentiator for most good restaurants. If you treat someone with great care, it will be remembered and most likely always come back for another dose of it.... :-)

One of my favorite establishments for a great cup of coffee, and a breakfast or light lunch.

I love the brand as the menu continues to evolve, there's always something new!

The service is great, a lovely place to meet friends and catch-up with meetings.

Id like to change my review. The service here has consistently slipped.Just this Sunday we stopped for coffee/ tea.It took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive warm. and the tea order was wrong. The table next to us sat down and because no one served them they left. Only as they walked out did a waiter approach them to help them. The manager ( who I think is new) did come to our table and ask if everything was ok ,so we toldΒ him about the drinks.I doubt Ill go back.
*****************************
Visited this past weekend and although they are at their peak with it being festive season, service was at its all Β time low. which is shocking since i enjoy this branch.Β
Our waitress was SLOW and a bit confused as well. Other tables also loudly complained about her never being there.
Orders took long, then when they arrived she disappeared.
She'd walk away mid sentence.
mmmm Disappointing.
Maybe their best staff were on leave? Not sure.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I think the management at this branch was recently changed because the service has improved alot.
I ate the most delicious mince skillet with a poached egg. It was so flavorful and the portion was massive for me.
My mum had the new chicken, mayo and pesto sandwhich which was also very yummy

M&B' (relatively) new menu has turned out to be quite a winner and we love them πŸ˜„πŸ˜„.

Unfortunately again a bit disappointed today.

The service was okay. Even after completing a 10km road race, sponsored also by M&B, you have to wait until 10am for a beer πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But the food was really not up to their normal standards. Small portion sizes. Tasting a tiny bit bland.....

😞😞😞

A nice large and open Mugg and Bean, very clean store however the inside seating often feels just too hot. The portions are large as always, the food is good and fresh. The fancy drinks all seem to be on the very sweet side. This chain often upgrades its menu so that's great if you go here often you will at least every now and then get new options to pick from. They are becoming more and more pricey with their food which is not really fantastic if you just want a quick bite for lunch.

You get exactly what you get at every other mugg n bean. Friendly staff. Average food. Great Hot Chocolate. Always a busy atmosphere but the waiters can be a bit non attentive.
