Food for the price was amazing and fresh kids enjoyed it there. Keep it up will visit again

The food was great and very well priced. The staff went out of their way to help me when it started to pour with rain and offered me an umbrella. They were very good at checking to see if there was anything more I needed and offered great food suggestions. All in all it was lovely.

This restaurant really surprised me! It looks like a small cafe from the outside but as you walk through it you are met by different beautiful areas of seating. There's formal dining in an old school type hall with beautiful wooden tables. You can also sit under the shady trees and dine while your children play on the jungle gym provided. There's another bar area, a sea sandy area and a lapa. We enjoyed our lunch and two tipo tinto special of R62 for two doubles and 1 mix. The food is also of great quality and the pricing is decent. We had a mushroom starter, a biltong avo salad, bacon feta sandwhich with chips and tipped the waiter more than 10% all for R400 for two people. I absolutely recommend this place where families can come together and share meals. The staff are very friendly and accomodating and well done to the kitchen staff too. They only deliver on fresh quality foods! I need to go back to try the pizza oven next! There is parking on the street around More and a car guard watches your vehicle. It is just off Old Johannesburg road into the Clubview suburb.

Staff is ok, food not to bad but they totally let go on the maintenance of the place. Been going there for many years and its sad to see the place being neglected.

Was very nice, love their chicken snitchel and pasta, there is a play area for the kids, waiter took my milkshake before i was done, couldn't stop him in time as he already threw a serviette into the glass

Best pizza I EVER had!!!! Prices are very good. I just wish it was open for Sunday lunch. I would love to have eishbein at least once before we leave South Africa

Celebrated my birthday, we had such a good time, we received excellent service and the food was great! Kids enjoyed it very much.

For me its the most beautiful place on earth. There is so much to do. Entertainment is always excellent. Its difficult to put in words how beautiful the surrounding mountains and bush are.

Food we ordered was very average for price. Waited next to 5 waiters before being assisted, but service was good when eventually helped.

On Saturday night we dined at More's with friends. To get straight down to the point: We had exceptional poor quality food. I dont make a habit of complaining about places but this was too much for me. The prawn pasta came out raw - when we send it back it came out with less prawns and dried out. They obviously just microwaved it. We complained again and a fresh batch was done but it still lacked flavour. My husband and his friend each had platter. Each had one bite of it. The quality of food was poor. No flavor and it seems that the food was really old. We doggy bagged it home for the dogs. I ordered a Irish coffee at the end of the night and it the coffee was weak and old when it got to the table. I asked for a fresh cup to be made which they did but the coffee was so strong I couldnt stomach it. My son had hot chocolate and he felt sick after he had that. The bill came for R1200+. We paid but let me be clear, it was the worse quality of food I have ever endured and I will never go back to More unless they up their standards. Where we were seated there was no light to see our food or menu. The waiteress had to be called and reminded of orders placed that never arrived, several times. I hope you take this criticism and focus on better service.

What an absolute disappointment. I had a birthday lunch at More on Sunday. We had been there a few times before and we really enjoyed it, but this was just unacceptable. First off, our waiter, named Eddy, really didn't have a good attitude. We were 9 people and it was a disaster from the very first drink. My aunt ordered a Apple Mojito, which came out with 2 of the ingredients missing. Then, we ordered sushi and she received only 6 pieces instead of 8. This was rectified and we were okay.. When our food came out, one of the meals (fish cakes) were still frozen solid on the inside! The rest of us ordered sushi and I promise you now that we waited 2 HOURS! We were already paying our bill when it arrived and therefore had to request it as a take-away. To top it all off, the waiter rang 3 Bloody Mary's, instead of 2 and then argued with me that I did have 3, which I didn't. The manager never even came to our table, even when we did request him/her. We were there for 4 hours and it was a really unpleasant experience, for me and the guests that I invited. I am truly and utterly disappointed in More.

After buying a couple of drinks at the bar, the waiter refused to take a food order because of said drinks at the bar. The waiter was never available to take drink orders. After confronting the manager no apology was offered. Please avoid.

We met at More Restaurant today, celebrating my Mother and Daughter's birthday. I requested the waiter (I think "Robert"?) to first assist my elderly Father, and see that he receives his food, after which we will then order after having our drinks. As requested, my Dad was served and he quickly received his order, allowing him to, in his own time, enjoy the celebrations with us. This was really experiencing the Xtra mile, and the care and amazing service in regards to the rest of us, was superb! Superb food, superb service and superb prices! Thank you More Restaurant. We have been customers for a very long time, and after today, we once again were reminded why. Thank you for a very special lunch today.

Been regulars for a while, but contineously dissapoint. If your chef can't make pizza then get a chef who can or take it off the menu. Salt, origanum and real tomato base would make it actually taste like pizza. Also, train your waiters, why does the service ALWAYS have to be so terrible???

We've been there today. Except waiting more than 30min for drinks, our sushi took 2.5 hours. We took it up with the manager and he said he stopped sushi order at 14:00 but our orders was placed at 13:30. He then said that the delay is because we had split bills (load of crap. Never had this problem before at any other restaurants). I had to pick up broken glass around us and my daughter also stepped into a piece and litter was laying around. The waiter tried his best to give great service but for the rest, no comment. I will not visit them again.

The waiter told me they need 50 minutes to make sushi because they are busy and the person who make sushi is helping in the kitchen. Haha, I hope this is a joke but not.

I know its feastive season but I dont mind waiting for food but at least get the drinks to a table quicker. Not my fav spot and not the first time I experienced this. Sorry.

It was awsome best food and service ever.

The restaurant wasn't full but our pizza took over an hour to arrive. It was, however, very good and the beers were ice cold!

My mom attended a function together with about 30 people of her matric class of 45 years ago at More restaurant today. Most of them are not living in Centurion, but they asked me to say that they thoroughly enjoyed the day and that the service and food was great xx

Service was poorish but food was good. Bad state of men's toilets, plaster is peeling, paper on the floor and not best smell.

My hubby and usually go to More, supporting this place, no matter how horrible the treatment from the waiters are, im a foody and I know when my food is cold or bad. It seems like when I have a small problem,eg, please heat my food up, you get the manager speak down to you as if we don't know food. Are u bringing stale food to us that your food gets cmso cold so quick, the manager had the nerve to tell us he tasted our mash and how do we want our food, and if he heats it up its going to get dry. Our potkie was cold and he insisted that it was hot and made a remark like ummmmh im not sure how do we eat food. I'm not sure if that was racist remark, I could be wrong. As an Indian person I never feel welcomed at that place, I could be wrong but the energies are not welcoming at all. I don't think we should be judged for knowing what we like.

On our first visit,and probably last visit to this establishment,we were bitterly disappointed! My hubby ordered a T-bone steak. First it was well done instead of rare,and then it was blue. The manager also has a no care attitude. Such a pity because the waitress was super sharp.

She responded 27/2/2019 and promised to get back to my 28/2/2019....i'm still waiting after ive sent follow up emails on the 15/3/2019 and today 7/4/2019.<br/><br/>We were too late for breakfast and decided to have lunch. This is the 3rd time that More has disappointed us and I feel I have to make you aware of it. There were more waiters (at the gate saying hello and goodbye when you leave) as in the actual restaurant at 11h45 on Saturday. Our waiter was very friendly and we ordered drinks and waited 30 minutes for it. We tried to find out what happened to our drinks and the other waiters just didn't make eye contact with us at all. Once the drinks arrived and the waiter apologised we ordered food and waited 45 minutes for fish and chips and quiche. The quiche was ice cold and we again tried to get the attention of a waiter but decided after looking like idiots to leave it. When our waiter brought the bill (1st time we saw him after he brought the food) we told him about the food and once again poor waiter had to apologise. NO MORE, MORE RESTAURANT. I also heard other patrons complaining and that's why i've decided to make you aware of it.

Used to be a very nice place. Now you can expect great drinks, if its from a bottle, good variety on menu, but not in stock, and substandard pub food. Really disappointed. Such a great location and vibe.

Depending on the time you visit the service can be slow. The service have definitely improved from two years ago. The menu does state that food preparation takes at least 20 minutes. This is not a five star restaurant, its a nice family spot where you can sit under big trees outside and choose from a variety of food including Sushi, Wood fired pizza and platters. We visit here frequently and in general we have a 3.5 star experience.

Service was slow and the food was disappointing. There were too many people there just to get drunk and be loud. I won't be coming back soon.

Ok as a first timer to go, the service was extremely terrible. Waiters take 30 min to eventually pitch after asking for the manager. When serving sushi as an item on your menu it should not take longer than 30 min, otherwise remove it from the menu. As for the manager, a little advice... Never tell your customer it states on the menu that preparing time takes x long but one can barely see or read it on the menu nor does the waiter inform you.

Great local spot. Interesting menu and the food is good. Service is ok but they they have a pizza oven and it is nice to sit outside and have a beer.

We enjoy visiting More Restaurant. We like the sand & beach feeling outside. The service is okay and the prices aren’t bad. I like that they have daily specials and an R&R special! We enjoy their menu’s variety and especially the eisbein.

Used to be a cool place for drinks ans cocktails. Now just a bunch of drunken people at the bar when it's late at night. Terrible service and atmosphere.<br/>Will not recommend again.

More Restaurant service is absolutely shocking, our waiter was no where to be seen and never came to take our main course order, I even asked another tables waiter to go and call our waiter and that never happened. Very disappointed

We really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the place and their variety in their menu is promising. However they advertise a sushi special that does not exist and I find the food below average. Will try the pizzas though.

Went recently for a work get together. <br/>Food was good and big portions. Not too pricey.<br/>Wait staff and management very friendly, albeit a bit slow. <br/>Waited quite a while for food.<br/>Overall a good experience though

We enjoyed the chicken livers at More Restaurant yesterday (which was very nice), made the mistake of ordering one slice of toast and paid an outrageous R15.00 for it (the price of a whole bread)... I took it up with the Manager who half-heartedly assured me that he will take it up with the owner... Daylight robbery if you ask me...

The place is very very slow in terms of service but their food really deserves a high rating, it is huge in portion so best advice is to share starters and deserts. My advice, would be to go there when not so hungry coz you can wait for over an hour

Ok was stuck in Eldoraigne and got revered to More for an early bite.The place is very mediocre and décor so so.We were politely served and some enjoyed their pizzas others not so much, party of 4.Cold beers on tap, always nice on such a hot and humid day.Unless you right there and no where else to go drive past.

Was there this past weekend with some friends for lunch and a few drinks. I was warned beforehand that the service is quite average but I'm not really someone that's bothered unless it's really bad.<br/>Unfortunately this visit left me with more than a bad taste in my mouth. We ordered eisbeins and steak, just after ordering, the power went out. Don't worry, there is a generator...which didn't work do for the entirety of our stay. We asked the waiter, when we finally found him, if our food would be affected, he said no. The eisbeins came first...they were raw inside and what was supposed to be the crackling was some sort of jelly like looking thing. They were sent back with the question of how they can even think about serving that!?! If the power is an issue then its ok but don't send out raw food. My steak came, it was ok. The eisbeins came back an hour later and we're told the starch etc is cold. But don't worry, you have cooked pork. <br/>The manager was non existent and the waiter was so difficult to find. Don't think I'll go back there anytime soon.

Our visit to More turned out to be quite average. <br/><br/>The pizza had too much cheese and not enough flavour. <br/><br/>The service was below average and we had to search for our waiter more than once. <br/><br/>However very convenient situated next to Zwartkop country club in case of an electricity failure.

Great welcoming atmosphere! Food is reasonably priced. Great quality and tasteful. I had the pork ribs. The meat was perfectly cooked and succulent! Memorable experience for my tastebuds. Will definitely return to try something else on the menu.<br/>

We’ve been coming to More since January 2017 and one thing we’ve noticed in the last 3 times we were there is a steady decline in the quality of service. The food is still amazing and the booze is cheap. If any of these two decline we’re looking for another guilty pleasure to visit. The waiting staff need to realise that the patrons need to be kept informed of what is happening with their food and drink. Increase the quality of service provided and you’ll not be able to serve everyone wanting to come to your restaurant. The 3 is purely because my fiancé is a reasonable person.

A chilled restaurant with bar, suitable for a casual day with friends and family. A kiddies jungle gym is built in. Plenty of seats indoors and out! Service is reasonable, and food is pricey, however comes in massive portions! Restaurant covers from steak, seafood, sushi, pasta, grills, pizza to salad. It is vegetarian friendly, but not with a huge variety. Good cocktails

Went on a Tuesday evening and the place was fairly quiet. My friend and I ordered the Ham Alfredo Pasta (you can choose between chicken and ham) as well as the Halloumi starter. <br/>The food was really good and you get a lot of ham in the pasta. Although the pasta was a bit dry (needed more sauce) it was still very tasty and worth the price. <br/>The Halloumi was very nice but the lettuce that was served with it was definitely not fresh. <br/>Overall experience was very pleasant - music playing in the background, good service and nice food. The perfect place to visit after work for a drink or two and a quick bite.<br/>

Casual dining indeed.<br/>Popped over for a drink and something to eat after work. Friends frequent this restaurant once in a while and it was my first experience there. <br/>Drinks were cold,pizza was great....although I was given recommendations and suggestions from my fellow diners. I settled on a Club Delux Pizza - thin base and loaded with toppings of ham and chicken (couldn't complain). Service was not too bad, poor Arnold (our waiter) was running around.

The service here is disgraceful. We did not even order food, the waiter had no idea what was going on. We asked him about the burger special and first he said they don't have the special anymore, then he came back and said the have the special only from 11am,it was 10:50 then. We said we will wait, he then came back and said sorry the special is only from 11:30. Further to this they didn't seat us and the waiter spilled milk over the menu.

I've been to More a few times now and I really think this a hidden gem of a bar.Now I know More isn't exactly a bar, as it appears to be separated into 3 different segments:  a teagarden upon entrance, a formal restaurant and a bar at the back.  I love the sand and beach vibe of the bar and they offer great specials.  I am of the opinion that More offers the best breakfast in town, for next to nothing, on their weekdays breakfast special.Their drink specials is also hard to beat.Their Eisbein is also great value for money and some of the best tasting and softest Eisbeins around.  I can also highly recommend their steak, egg and chips.

More Restaurant - I will go back there again and again Marlene and staff always give customers best service and goes out of there way to specified the customers needs ....not to mention the food great taste and great prizes !!well done Marlene and team keep up the good work ..!

Last Sunday we went to more for the usual sushi special, only after we have placed the order the waiter informs us there is no longer a special avalible, I changed my order to a burger, the bun was stale and the patty couldn't even hold together and tasted like dogs mince, we used to love more, we will not go back again after this or will we recommend it to anyone.

Went here after a show at a local High School in the area. Arrived at about 9PM, before the closing time and we were told that we would be able to still have something to drink, but the kitchen was closed already.<br/><br/>Eventually we convinced the waiter to allow us to just order a few pizzas. (Some of which were good and others that were pretty much just normal and nothing exciting.<br/><br/>Then just before 10PM the waiter came to the table and brought us the account. Now my problem here is that not once did the waiter come and ask us at any point whether we would like something more to drink before they closed up the bar and now we couldn't order any more drinks.<br/><br/>The vibe is pretty cool if you sit outside in the back... there is sea sand, which gives the effect that you are supposed to be at a beach bar. Old School music is probably a reason why I'd consider going back. Other than that,  this is not really a place that I would recommend.

We love the food and love the atmosphere!! Always greeted with a smile and friendly service!! This is our second home!! Please keep up the good work!

Food is mediocre. Service is slow, waiters are not clued up about items on the menu. Drinks and food take long to arrive. And the cherry on the cake is that when they want to go home they switch the lights of regardless of the fact that the customers (yes customers, as we were not the only people left in the restaurant) are still sitting and drinking. <br/>All in all, pathetic, and this establishment will not see me again.

I love the food, the atmosphere, the venue and the area BUT the service or rather waiter allocation is terrible. At the moment there is only 1 waiter for our whole area and he is taking strain from annoyed vlients as you are waiting a long time for food. I suggest management sort this out if they do mot want to loose business.

Went here with family and we've been a few times, it's a family restaurant on the one side and a cocktail outdoor pub on the other... <br/>Sadly the Service is VERY slow and the food mostly average...<br/>I Had a lovely biltong and Avocado salad and the sushi is good.

Service was a bit slow and tables were s but dirty. The food was very good though. There was loadshedding and thy have a special loadshedding menu which I thought was s nice touch.

Load shedding venue, good pizzas, ok steaks, but not one of my favorites places, better for taking kids or maybe for a view drinks in the afternoon rating 3.<br/><br/>Second visit was even worst. Cocktails was great, but the sushi was warm and in-inviting, but the worst was yet to come. The 1kg Eisbein was over cooked, dry and way to fatty. The venue is good for drinks and bar snacks, don't expect anything more than that! Rating now 2!
