Review Rocomamas Irene Village - Centurion

RocoMama's in general never disappoints. The food is amazing. There is something for everyone and its a definite treat. However BP Irene Village just took it up a notch with the superb customer service. The team did such a great job at catering to our every need even though it was super busy. The staff are always friendly and service is efficient.

The waiter did his best to make us feel comfortable..but i would love them to change how we order our meals because some of us don't have time to read through the menu but simply point at a picture to say i want this ...reading and ticking what we want to eat consumes our time.

Thank you for our dog's milkshakes. They loved it as much as we enjoyed the burgers.

Service was great, there was a miscommunication which is perfectly normal and perfectly handled with a nice apology. Sillo was very nice. There was an instance where (I'm a diabetic btw) my blood sugar was low because the food came later than I expected and I calculated my insulin dose wrong but thankfully I got my order earlier than every one else which was extremely kind.

Leon the manager is 5*. Always belive that the people who work in the business are the business. All staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone when it started raining. Do wish that maybe rock mammas start to invest in bigger stores. So they can accommodate more seating.

If you are selective and don't allow yourself to overindulge, you get great food at a good price. If you let your eyes decide you may be getting less than the price would suggest. Either way the food was good, the chips were especially nice with that chilli sauce. Bun was Fresh and meat was not too overcooked. Also good pickles. Service was fast and friendly and I had no issues.

Ok it's a nice burger but to be honest... I don't think it's that of a wow burger and value for money not quite as i had thought ... Overall though it's a nice and chilled place to go have a lunch and catch up with friends.

Rocomamas is awesome! They have great burgers, their chips are amazing, the wings are delicious, the G-Shakes are heavenly and on top of that the staff are very friendly and helpful and absolutely not normal. Great selection of brews, too. Fun, funky vibe, great humour. Pricing is pretty good for the quality of the food served! We love eating here. It's very popular, so be prepared to wait for a spot - but it'll be worth it.

Great for a quick after work outing. Had a lovely filling of nachos, they did not hold back on the cheese. Adequate service and yummy milkshakes.

I was at this RoccoMamas yesterday, what a terrible service. Upon arrival there was nobody attending the door, this was bit confusing as the place was a bit full with no visible open tables. Then I ordered a cappuccino, the waiter didn't bother to inform me that it's only served in form. It took the waiter over 10 minutes to come back for our food order. When he eventually gave us our food, he gave me the wrong order. The food had chili mayo and I don't eat chili at all as it creates an uncomfortable taste in my mouth. I didn't order food with chili, the person I was with did. We had swap our food as clearly the waiter made a mistake. The worst thing, my cappuccino was long finished even before he brought my food. he didn't bother asking if we needed more drinks or not. He didn't check up on our table not even once. We struggled to find him, to order more drinks and to even pay our bill. If I could I would actually rate zero but then eventually when I got hold of the correct food, it was good and the manager tried to redeem his staff member (Norbet) but it was too late.

To be brutally honest, this was probably the best freaken burger I have ever had in my entire life! Yeah you may have to wait at peak times for a table but to satisfy a monster hunger with a burger that exceeds all expectations is worth the damn wait. The service was friendly and accommodating and I even got to meet Katie Holmes � and to top it all off with the baddest milkshake in the game... "The Crème Brûlèe" Seriously though, great service, great food and great vibes... What else could you ask for? Thank You ���

Burgers are amazing! After an awesome burger I came back for the ribs, and I was blown away. There is an awesome vibe at the restaurant and I like the option for being seated outside. I will definitely be coming back, the next time I’m keen for a burger and a beer.

Last night was the first time I had ever gone to any Rocomamas after being curious for months. I didn't want to try any other Rocomamas except the one at Irene Village Mall and must I say, damn I was surprised! Food: Amazing! Service: Awesome! Even though everyone was strangers, I felt like I was among old friends. I'm personally a super germ freak. Being able to see how the food and beverages were dealt with, gloves used and everything was clean: was like my own personal heaven. Rocomamas Irene Village Mall, you guys have just gained a loyal customer for life �

Waited 45min and the waiter comes to say they didn't make the chicken burger they made beef. Stands there at my table waiting I suppose forbme to say okay ill take the beef burger. The restaurant was not busy. Paid for the drinks and left. Worse service ever. Won't be back there.

Friday 28 July 2017 was my and my boyfriends first time at RocoMamas( Irene ) And i just want to say Abel was our waiter! The most friendliest serves ever ! The food was amazing ! Great atmosphere! Will definitely go back ! Thank you for the good and fast service!

Was rather worried that the night would be a disaster after reading some comments. Was however plesently surprised. Good food and good service. I guess everybody has their own opinion. We had a great time.

Didn't even get to the point of ordering drinks. Made to wait over 20 minutes for a table as they don't take reservations. We accepted this as we've heard great things about the franchise. FINALLY got a table and then waited over 10 minutes without anyone attending to us. We weren't even given a menu to look at. Tried to catch anyone's attention, again ignored. Will definitely NEVER come back.

Me and my friend were undermined, treated like garbage funny thing the waiter tried to get us out of the establishment as fast as he could, 0 customer service, got mad at us for asking him to return a wrong order as if we didn't deserve it, when we got frustrated by his poor service he threw the slip at us didn't bother to find out how we were going to pay, strolling past us when we asked for the bill so we can leave, only had one drink which supposed be something we had while waiting for our meal then probably order another to have with the the that didn't happen, had burger meal without a beverage then our dessert came also no beverage worst experience, mind you I was trying to cheer up a person with post natal depression

By far my favorite burger joint. <br/><br/>Really enjoy the location as well. <br/><br/>It gets extremely busy over weekends so be sure to be there early to reserve a spot. <br/><br/>Family friendly, great food, and has a liquor license.

Always predictable and delightfully so we had the Mofo chicken wings with blue cheese sauce the combination is a taste sensation not for the more sensitive pallet.<br/>I also enjoy ordering a beef patty with guacamole and salad options low carb and super tasty.

I'm afraid the service let them down. Table wasn't wiped clean when we took our seats. They missed the crumbed tacos which we ticked (and then took forever to check and fix this, and then didn't apologise). Flies all around, we asked if they have something for the flies, the waiter said he will check and then never came back to us about this. The cheesy fries had just too much cheese sauce on. The burgers were pretty good (although I have to say that the buns were over toasted). I'm usually a pretty positive person but we really didn't have a great experience at RocoMamas today.

As per usual, a good meal at Rocomamas. Generous helping of chips and love that you can custom-build your burger at an affordable price! The cheese bombs are a great addition to the menu (but avoid the Chilli-cheese, too hot, the Jalepeno is just right). Shakes were lovely (the Jack Daniels shake was the clear winner!) Service was friendly as well. They do not take bookings so be sure to arrive early if you want a table👍🏻

The food here is consistent with the other Rocomamas branches that I’ve been too, which is great😁👌🏽 <br/>The new limited edition, Trippy Dax, which has a Parmesan chicken breast, salsa, guacamole and creme fraiche is delicious ,the ingredients are fresh as always, it was quite filling too. I only managed to eat half of it🙈<br/>The service is great, everyone is warm, friendly and attentive. <br/>I like the layout of this branch as it’s quite spacious with ample tables inside and outside.<br/>No pictures provided ...because ...it’s Rocomamas, I didn’t have time for pictures 😂

An opportunity to create the burger of your dreams, what a score. With more then 10 options to add on to your plain burger, you can go wild. I had the 100g Smash Burger with mozzarella, spicy slaw and jalapeños. Perfecto. It was super yum.<br/>Ended the night with the Oreo waffle. Very messy. I don't think the chef waited for the waffle to cool down before placing the ice cream. The waffle was scrumptious though. <br/>Advice, always reserve a table in advance.

We visited on a weekday evening without a booking and had to wait about 30mins for a table and as they don't take bookings, that's not easily avoidable. Nonetheless, we were fortunate to be put inside on a cold night. The place is tiny inside and was packed so quite a loud atmosphere but not unbearable. The service was slow but it looked like they were really busy and we were chatting a lot so it didn't bother us too much. Food was awesome when it did come; it's so great to be able to order a vegan burger at a regular restaurant and for it to be so delicious! I'm not a fan of franchises but thoroughly enjoyed the meal!

I love a good burger... I make a good burger, so when I'm paying good money for a burger, it better be good.   My husband LOVES Rocomamas.... when trying to decided where/what to eat, he always picks it and always eats the #chillicheesebomb. <br/><br/>This branch is usually busy and we've sat outside in the middle of winter under a heater and we've ordered take-aways and sometimes we're lucky to score a prime spot inside or outside depending on the weather.  The waiters are always friendly and we never wait too long for drinks or food. <br/><br/>The obvious draw of this place is you get to decide what goes on your burger.  End of story.  If you don't like the flavour combinations, it is your own fault, next time order one of their monthly specials. <br/><br/>The pineapple salsa is a favourite of mine and I can't leave without one of their DECADENT milkshakes.  I've taken one point off because the coleslaw is overdressed and I won't order it again.  Also on occasion they get our fry order wrong. <br/><br/>If you want a quick bite to eat, or want to order everything on the menu (this is always a temptation) you will rarely go wrong popping into this Rocomamas.

Always a win when I'm looking for a lunch time outing. Food is always top standard with a nice witty service. Feta is a great add to any of their burgers. A real burger place

Very disappointing. <br/><br/>We walked in and seated ourselves, after waiting a while to be served we eventually gave up and went to find our own menus that were dirty (as per the photo). <br/><br/>The wine is so cheap and nasty. <br/><br/>Our order was messed up with the wrong sauces. How does that even happen? Cause you mark your options on a piece of paper, <br/><br/>In general, poor experience, not a place i would support again.

Although we have been here for burgers before and the experience was lovely as well as the food delicious! We decided to pop by for a dessert and tried their milkshakes. What a large variety to choose from. We eventually went with the Oreo milkshake as well as the cherry cola milkshake. Both lovely. Ultimate favorite is the Oreo milkshake ofcourse! You can never go wrong. Loved it!

Visited the restaurant during the last days of 2016 festive season, so the restaurant was very full we had to wait a bit. The manager called us within 10 minutes though.<br/><br/>Had the ribs, they could have tasted better. The peanut butter monster smoothies were to die for, I can never have enough. The waiters were attentive but also gave us our space😎

I really enjoy this branch. The setting provides a really nice, relaxed vibe which I love. I also really enjoy the (often themed) specials as well as the fact that you can "design" your own burger. The portions are generous - my boyfriend and I always end up splitting on small portion of the crispy and we'll spiced fries. Will definitely be back again and again!

My 4th visit but 1st review. The saying goes you get what you pay for, unfortunately its not the best burger in Pretoria, but its better than McDs and Wimpy. What I can't understand is why not ask How I want it done. Was it not for the sauces it would have been bone dry. It really needs another level and the fad to build your own burger is over. Give us decent chips thicker patties<br/><br/>How long do I have to suffer eating string chips ( ok the cheese sauce over the chips wasn't bad) my beer was cold and service ok. <br/>

Food for a happy life, burgers are devine. Service is top class and the setting rocks. The staff are very attentive and food comes out in less then 20 min. Kids have a lot of room to run around as well. A must try.<br/>

As usual Rocomamas is the best ever! Amazing and perfectly seasoned fries, most delicious burgers ever and when you drink the shakes, it's like a party in your mouth! The only tip I can give to them is please supply wet wipes! Not only for ribs, but the burgers are so saucy and delectably messy that you need something like this rather than just a normal serviette. But yes, each outlet I visit always lives up to... no ... it exceeds expectation.

I love Rocomamas. I have been to both the Irene and Hazeldean outlets and have enjoyed my bacon and cheese burger so very much. This is my got to burger place - something I have been looking for for a while! <br/><br/>The staff are friendly and accommodating and the general atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. <br/><br/>Their quality of food is great! They don't over or undercook the burger patty and they certainly are NOT stingy with their delicious mayo sauce. Their "build your own burger" idea is wonderful and the pricing of the food is affordable. <br/><br/>I highly recommend a trip to your closest Rocomamas for a good burger and alcoholic beverage with you family or friends 👍🏻

Probably one of the best burgers I have had! The key to their success is that you get to pick and design your own burger, and the choices for toppings are vast!!! The caramelized onions and guacamole are winners. The beef patty is so well cooked and tasty, I really cannot fault it! Good fries and delicious mayo. Yum yum in my tum tum!!! Oh and the oreo shake is delicious and packed with cookies!

First time trying rocomamas, service from our waiter was good although we waited quite a while for our food and it was really not busy at all. I had the mushroom burger and added jalapeños, the patty was nice and not dry, however a tad bit bland but because I love mushrooms I overlooked it... Decent portion of fries for R15 and all in all was good for a first try. The Oreo milkshake is definitely a must try

Since the first time I set foot in this restaurant I fell in love with it! I have a big love for a good hamburger, and the Irene village mall Rocomamas has been keeping my love for it flying high! The way their staff involves you and talks to you makes it even better, so friendly, such good food! And not just the burgers, the Nachos are brilliant, milkshakes, everything!

The whole write your order down/Tick the boxes are quite cool. The whole atmosphere is buzzing and inviting which is really nice. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't have Apple ale but a passion fruit and lemonade - with a shot of vodka does justice haha.<br/>I had the special #2 the Wild Bill, I call it the nacho burger haha, gosh was it amazing, even if you cut the burger in half its still such a mouthful. The shoestring fries are so delicious. I then had some of the chilli cheese bomb buther and damn I must say that chilli had a kick to it hey. The chicken wings/hot is definitely something to try out. Hot and spicy but so delicious at the same time.<br/>Of course I'll be back for more. Carbs get in my mouth!! Haha

Always love going to this place. The food is always on point, great craft beer on tap and service is always friendly. Also, hey have the BEST ribs ever! Burgers are great, you can tell all toppings are super fresh.

SOOOOOO disappointed! After a fantastic breakfast experience at the equestria-restaurant we headed to this branch for breakfast with the family. On arrival at 9:15 we were made to feel extremely unwelcome by all the unfriendly staff. We sat inside while staff were still mopping the floors, our waiter did not introduce himself, we waited almost 30 minutes for our breakfasts, the food was semi-cold and the chips and toast was hard. I had to get up and ask our extremely unfriendly waiter for knives and forks, we were never asked if we wanted our drinks replenished. I had to get up and find servietes and salt and pepper on other tables/ask for it behind the counter. A really bad experience overall.

Had a really good time ! The atmosphere is calming and the music is good ! You build your own burger and choose sides , chips , wings or a salad . They also have ribs. This place unfortunately does not really cater for vegetarians .... The milkshakes were really good , topped off with cream and hundreds and thousands . I was really happy with all my food and my friends too . It just felt like service was a bit slow , but they were super friendly !! Will definitely be back !

Such a great place!<br/>Service was so friendly and although we were seated outside, there was heaters and blankets to keep warm.<br/><br/>The food was awesome. All the burgers were delicious and full of flavour and their fries are the best. The great thing about roco's is that they aren't stingy with the goodies. Roccomamas in Irene Village Mall is a busy place. We were wellcomed by Terminator: do you want to sit in Durban (inside) or Cape Town (outside)?<br/>We opted for the last table in Durban!<br/>Crispy fried chicken wings with lovely mayo & green onion dip. Naked ChilliCheeseBomb burger with Shoe String Fries - portion generous.<br/>The smashburger was delicious: hot hot red chopped chilli (I luv), Aged Cheddar and Mozarella Cheese and bacon covered with chilli Mayo. <br/>No lingering over a meal - eat up and get up. There are places to go and people to meet! :)<br/><br/>Heerlike burgers en hoendervlerkies, vrolike besige restaurant.

Immediately I'm going to tell you I've subtracted 1.5 because it didn't feel like the cleanest place in the world. Very important factor for me and if they decided to focus on the cleanliness a little more they could push me up to 4.5. Other than that food and service good and hope they don't become too "franchisy"<br/>

Got to be one of our Favourite burger places, when we arrived we are never surprised to find it completely packed, so the wait to get a table is usually fairly long, not great when you are usually staved, there also seems to be enough space to add a few more tables given how popular they are.<br/><br/>We love the concept of choosing and building your own burger and writing it on notepads, it’s great to only get the exact toppings you want on a burger. The portions are generous and tasty, the shoe string fries are always a hit. They have a good selection of craft beers to pick from and the milkshakes are fantastic, very creamy and full of flavor.

Roco Mamas remains one of our favourite restaurants. We visited the Irene branch for a quick weekday dinner.<br/><br/>The service was a bit slow, but we were rewarded with extra wings (yay!) for waiting an extra few minutes. Their burgers truly are out of this world and we definitely recommend trying them at least once. Prices are also not too bad, which makes this the perfect spot for a quick meal and get-together with friends.<br/><br/>Although burgers and beer go better together than burgers and wine, we were a bit disappointed by their lack of a proper wine menu. The only wine they did have was luckily from one of our favourite farms, which was a big plus. It also always feels a bit cramped, so would definitely suggest having a look at their layout and seating arrangements. Otherwise a definite 5!

I think everyone else has said what needs to be said. I can only share my experience. Casual , great beer , friendly staff. Awesome ribs (uncle jack beef) burgers taste like real homemade , the chips are avarage and so are the wings. Noting tasted like the fake prosessed crap you get at most places and that to me , with the friendly service and nice location all make it a 4 star joint.<br/>Kids are welcome too , no play area but it's chilled and really worth a visit.

As far as burger joints go this is pretty impressive. Juicy patties, a fun way to order - excellent and creative toppings. Other than a 'proper' gourmet burger, you can't really beat this from a quality or taste point view. Perfect fries and great sticky ribs! I don't see the point of the chicken, if that's what you want go to Nandos - way better! Kids love it, but as with all these 'high street' type venues the wine list is very mediocre - take your own.

The best burgers I have had. By far!!! I do NOT eat tomatoes on my burgers because it usually diminishes the flavour of the meat. But this is not the case at rocca mammas. Their patties are so flavourful that a fresh slice of tomato is welcome. Seating is unfortunately very limited an I think the could do very well if allowed mire tables outside.

We stopped by at this Rocomamas on a Friday evening and were not in the least bit surprised that it was completely packed, especially with how popular this franchise has become.<br/>Although it was full the host and hostess quickly arranged a table for us.<br/>The food was standard Rocomamas food which unfortunately means I don't love it but I ordered a Greek Salad which was fresh and crisp although I didn't like that they put olive oil and balsamic vinegar before it came to the table. My uncle really enjoyed his Smash Burger and I am a big fan of the shoe string fries.<br/>The restaurant was very clean despite it being so busy and the ambiance at this particular Rocomamas was definitely one of the better, I enjoyed how open and airy it was.<br/>Overall it was the standard Rocomamas experience but it was made better by the amazing attention of the host and hostess.

I have oly heard great things about this place from my friends and from people at work. They were all 100% correct.<br/><br/>The menu is innovative and funky, location and atmosphere is also great.<br/><br/>I made my own "custom burger", the process was fun and this itself was a conversation piece. This encourages participation and makes things more fun.<br/><br/>The burger was amazing, the portions were VERY generous. Really good service. It started raining and they tried everything to make us happy and keep us dry. Great and friendly waiter! Not always easy to keep a crowd of 9 happy. And always great food!

The best Burger in town. You always wait for a spot and thats not a bad thing. Smashed burgers make this a cut above the rest. Their ribs and wings are equally good and the finger fries are addictive.

Entirely lovely experience. We ate wings (buffalo and BBQ flavour) as well as the pork ribs and shoe string fries. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. Great intimate venue, guaranteeing good attention to customers. Only problematic point is that the wings and ribs are slightly pricey for the portion size. Milkshakes were good.

Well this was unexpected. The place was packed and I readied myself for quite the wait. It took about 15 minutes and my food was here. <br/><br/>The cheese, bacon and guac burger was to die for and the blueberry shake was the perfect companion. I will definitely come back

Friendly service from the start, great vibe and tasty food! We loved having dinner at Rocomamas. Their milkshakes are very creamy and filled with flavour and ice-cream. We are absolutely addicted to their smokey mayo. We had a classic cheese burger, Nacho gourmet burger, with lekker hot jalapinos, and the hottest ever, chilli cheese bomb burger, extreamly hot but hubby loved the heat. Their shoe string fries are so crispy and freshly fried. A new exciting taste combined with their secret smokey mayo. Will definetly enjoy a meal there again.RocoMamas

Rocomamas exploded onto the food scene and just took over. Everywhere I looked and went, I saw a new Rocomamas that had opened. So i guess that it was inevitable that I would one day end up eating at one.<br/><br/>Irene was the one... first off..it's tiny...you literally sit on top on the other people... 'sorry, can you pass the salt?' As I easly lean over and grab it myself, is what I thought when I saw how close everyone was sitting. <br/><br/>I decided to not have a burger and fries, and try something they're not known for. I had the bbq ribs with a traditional glaze and a side of spicy bacon coleslaw. The ribs were extremely generous in size and we're quite soft and tasty, but there was way, way too much sauce on them. Nauseating is what comes to mind. I was literally wiping the sauce off and putting on my plate..I couldn't eat anymore, it over powered everything. The 'spicy' bacon coleslaw was ok. It was improved by a good shake of salt and had no spice to it at all. <br/>The addition of bacon was a nice touch though. <br/><br/>Everyone else seemed to have enjoyed their burgers though, maybe il give them another go and they might change my mind.

After weeks of trying and failing to get a table because the place is always full , I finally got to see what the buzz was all about. The concept of ticking writing up your own order is quite novel. I wish the food was as innovative. The menu is limited but one can play around with it. The food and service was average but good value for money. Great for a light family lunch. Kids will love it.

There are 3 things to a successful restaurant!<br/>1. Good Service<br/>2. Good food<br/>3. Good Pricing. <br/><br/>RocoMamas has them covered, and that is why you can walk pass them, and they are always packed with people!<br/><br/>Keep it up!

Exceeded expectations. Burgers, wings and milkshakes are great... The restaurant is a bit tiny, which causes a waiting list for a table. But overall good..

Great burgers,awesome chips (a small is plenty) fantastic ribs. Wonderful service. And surprisingly well priced. Was glad that we could sit outside ss the music was really loud inside.

This place is insanely popular. Waited half an hour for a table. Our waiter Portia was really attentive considering how busy the restaurant was. Love the sheet where you can place your order, guarantees that the kitchen cannot get your order wrong. Yummy Oreo milkshake and burgers were juicy. Will definitely come back again. Great service but because it mainly operates as a take-away joint with a limited amount of seats it eliminates the character and ambiance of a sit down restaurant.

FINALLY gave Rocomamas a try this weekend! I'm quite impressed. As most people have experienced, we too, had to wait about half an hour for a table. Our waiter, Terminator, was really friendly & funny and service was quick throughout our lunch. I ordered fresh chili and caramelized onions on my burger with chili mayo and two cheeses. I was slightly let down with the chili. The pieces were huge. I think each chili was cut in half or at most 3 pieces. I was expecting it to be minced or thinly sliced, making it more practical to eat. The caramelized onions were ice cold which was slightly off putting. But overall it was a great burger, chips were crispy and the peanut butter milkshake was awesome too!

This is really something different. Good hamburgers juicy small chips is not that small its a lot and that for R12 Really worthwile to go there. The only negative is the chairs they getting hard after 45 minutes. Lol. <br/> <br/><br/>

A brilliant concept - taken to another level by an unsurpassed taste, even the shoestring fries. <br/><br/>The Irene outlet is forever a full-house, but the service is quite efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our table and our waitron was on form.<br/><br/>Quick delivery, great taste and all I can say is - I will still be back....(thanks to Virgin Active 😅).

I decided to check this place out with a friend on a Friday night. The restaurant was full and many people had to wait a while to get a table. <br/><br/>The service was great and the food was really tasty. I had my burger with a saffron Chutney which tastes a little peculiar but still really good. <br/><br/>If you want a burger and you want to have fun with your food definitely check it out. <br/><br/>

We had this fantastic rich peanut butter milkshake which kinda has this burst of peanut butter balls on your tongue as you sip on it-like honestly it's out of this world. Guys ROCOMAMAS has this G SHAKE menu which is a must if you a fan of milkshakes-it includes thee most classy flavours like creme brûlée, Oreo, blueberry and EVEN CHERRY COLA milkshake. Is that class or what 👌oh oh and wait for it.... DESSERT was a tantalizing treat of Nutella and milkybar flapjaX which is another speciality of ROCOMAMAS. Ok I'm out..

Visited them for lunch today. Would definitely return. The service was good and the burgers and chips were the best we had in a while. Like the setup and the fact that you can build your own burger.

Now I've had Rocomamas burgers for takeaway a few times from the Randburg branch, never sat down and enjoyed the atmosphere and let me tell you, if it's atmosphere you want, this place has it! <br/><br/>Situated in Irene mall amongst the hustle and bustle of people coming in and out Rocomamas has a buzz that gets everyone in a good mood.<br/><br/>The smash burgers are brilliant and allows you to get a bit experimental with your food! I eat a lot of Burgers at Ed's diner and the prices and quality of food here is very competitive. The specials looked good and I'm very keen to come back and try the wings and ribs. <br/><br/>Tayla and I came here for dinner before our movie and it was a great experience with very friendly staff, I even paid for our bill using Zapper.

I was fortunate to rock up at a Rocomamas on a Friday night and find seating as the place is always buzzing. I created my own burger and couldn't resist to order the fries. My food came on time and I wasted no time in digging in as I was famished.

Have you ever been frustrated trying to explain your order several times to a waiter? Then Rocomamas is for you. The colorful diner-vibe restuarant hands you a menu with a pen and you, personally fill in what you would like to have. Very tasty hamburgers and shoestring fries is highly recommended. The outside seating area is great on a summer's eve. Very popular spot so prepare to wait a bit for a seat but it is worth the wait

The first experience here was just really really bad. Waiters unfriendly and uninterested in the patrons. We never stayed for the food and decided to go to one of the other restaurants nearby.

The best burger joint in SA, now in Irene! Been waiting ages for one to open up in the area and it does not disappoint! Just like the other branches, the food here is EXCELLENT, the vibe is fun and energetic and the staff are ALWAYS friendly! And don't listen to anyone who complains about the wait...yes, you often do wait quite a while to be seated, but there is a reason for that, and its not because of bad service, its because it is always packed full of people and trust me, it is WELL worth the wait!

They are always busy and you can wait 10 minutes or so for a table, but worth the wait. I dont enjoy the table set up, as you feel on top you. But otherwise great food. The burgers are always the way to go. Enjoy that you can build your own burger.

Best Burgers in town!! If you like burgers this is the place to go to, their fun quirky spin on your classics makes you wanna go back for more!! Not to mention the added build it yourself option, something you don't get to do very often!! Great services and fun vibes!! Will definitely recommend to all!!

I just stopped by for takeaways but rocomamas has the best burger in pretoria and this is coming from a burger connoisseur. I love the concept behind the restaurant, the build your own burger has been met with mixed reviews but rocomamas has hit the perfect balance of exceptional patty, firm bun and fantastic extras.

This place definitely lives up to its reputation!! We were a big group and tried a little of everything and it was so worth it! We walked out ready for a food coma and will definitely be coming back!!

Wow... I have had some good burgers but these guys are right up there with best! Had to wait a while but they were absolutely packed and the burger was worth the wait. Generous portions and not at all expensive.

I make no secret of telling everyone about my love affair with Rocomamas. <br/>Although I had to wait for 20 minutes to get a table, Eric thanked me for my patience. We got a table outside and our waitress was Cynthia. I cannot fail her on her service. The food took a bit long though. I must say that I blame it on the male 'manager' that walked in and out if the store- while it was rocking busy- or just leaning on the counter. He is going to hurt your business. Sorry to say. A brand fail and a service hurter. <br/>My food was amazing. I will always support you, as long as your food stays brilliant. Lizelle, the other manager was running around as if she was a 'runner'. Amazing manager. Amazing staff-besides one, amazing vibe and best burgers!

Definitely not your normal burger joint! This place has a winning concept, great burgers, awesome staff and a wonderful location. The idea of marking on a piece of paper where you complete your order is awesome, you get exactly what you want, every time!
