What an incredible vibe this little burger joint has and the menu! Burger, more burgers and, you guessed it… even more burgers! Defs coming back for a sit down meal with the family. The ET burger is truly special, and where else can you find a Monkeygland Burger these days.

Really interesting variety of burger toppings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I chose the Marilyn Monroe - melted Brie with strawberry, balsamic and black pepper jam. Hein had the Karate Kid - patty smothered in black pepper sauce.

This was my first visit and I will definitely come again. The burgers are tops and the chips are the best I had this year. The staff are super friedly and efficient. The owner also came for a chat amf mafe us feel at home and welcome.

Wednesday's all you can eat sliders is not for the faint hearted... You will over indulge! Service is always friendly and fast. The vibe is laid back with a typical diner feel and great ambient music.

Burgers and milkshakes were out of this world. Our waitress was super and friendly. We also got a nice place to sit with our service dog in training and the manager came to check in and even asked if the service dog is still doing fine.

Food was really great. Just one funny rhing one persons burger they forgot to put her salami on and they brought her the salami on side to build own burger. Bit weird. But food was amazing. The Oxtail burger not worth the R150 as there were like 3 peaces of oxtail meat on a normal patty. But overall food was amazing.

Let me start off by saying they might tell you 15 minutes and then it's 20 minutes.(Just an example.) and everytime this happens I take my food I go home and forget how long I had to wait because that miss piggy Burger just makes me forget about all my issues. It's technically a restaurant and not a fast food. I have never had a situation where I had to wait and the food was still raw(or cold) or something like that. So my advice to whoever reeds this review. Just add a craft beer to your order. You might have to wait a bit, but I promise it's worth it.

Been to Burger Bistro Clubview 3 times now, have to say awesome place, sometimes you wait a little bit longer becuase they can get so busy. Staff are always friendly and strict with covid regulations, PROPER hand sanitizer at each table and when you walk in. Waitrons always wear their masks etc, never had someone take the order incorrectly. Great good eveeytime, chips are the bomb! Thanks a million!

First time visit here, the smell and vibe...made me nostalgic. I had the Sugarman Burger. Single with an aVo Shake!!... Yes an Avocado shake!! YUMMY!! EverythIng was spectacular! The food was sooo good!! The burger joint reminds me of an old diner off the trail in the US...somewhere in Pennsylvania. Bordering West Virginia..yes, been there! Small mining town feel. Brings back memories of the awesome and clean mining canteens and bars that used to be in the Lorraine and Evkom Power Station Villages. Yes. Been there too. When they had their burger and vetkoek specials.. When you step into the space...it's just something else. It is another time zone. Thank you! We LOVED IT!

For a value-for-money, deliciously scrumptious gastronomical burger event, there is no place like Burger Bistro, especially if the burger is combined with one of a range of milkshakes going from boring to adventurous. The plating is very well presented making the visit truly memorable. The friendly efficient service is the "cherry tomato" on top (If you don't get this pun your burger life has not yet begun 😁)

Their burgers are delicious, chips are good only giving 4 stars due to their drink being disappointing. The mango colada is too much ice and weak in flavour and the candyfloss cocktail is too sweet. The hazelnut milkshake also does not taste like hazelnut more like vanilla.

Amazing place. We went early so it wasn't very busy. The food was amazing as usual. What was really nice was the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. A new treat for me.The staff are very friendly but one thing I have to comment on is the music. Absolutely great music!! It just completes the whole experience and I will definitely visit more.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. The photo's do not do these meals any justice. Wow, wow, WOW. The location in Clubview is the gorgeous. And the staff is super friendly. We just stopped by for a take away (we've never had Burger Bistro food before) and Mieke came to deliver our food at our car within 10mins. Even though she said it would take 20mins. The portion sizes are huge but they don't sacrifice taste for quantity. We ordered the Naas Botha Burger (Biltong) and the Hulk (Nacho Burger). We struggled to finish all of our food, and definitely looking forward to the other half of our burgers for breakfast! 😊 I highly doubt I will ever buy burgers anywhere else again. My first time I went to Burger Bistro, was at the opening and I was lucky to get my burgers that evening. They eventually ran out of burgers by 20:45. The burgers are still as good as when they started. My favourite, the Cheddamelt with extra avo, will always be my favourite. Yes, they’ve got a wide variety even catering for the banters, but I luv the Cheddamelt (Melted cheddar and mushroom sauce) 200g patty burger. To drink - the Gingerbread milkshake is good as always! Well recommended!

Its in the name, its the burger bistro, they make burgers. <br/>For a part time vege its sometimes nice to indulge in the guilty pleasure of a big fat beef burger and so i did. Everything has a weird name so i don't really remember what it was called but my burger had cheese, pineapple and jalapeno? I think. It was really good, good bun held together to the end. Good beef, good size, massive actually. So massive they don't bother with a dessert menu. <br/>I lile that they know where the potatoes come from too, our fries came from mookgopong and they were pretty much ideal. <br/>They do shakes of àll variety but i skipped it. They looked ok.<br/>Good service, freindly and so on, our guy didn't know the signal for menu as apposed the the signal for bill but whatever thats ok. <br/>The ambience is nice, old movie posters and such all over the place. <br/><br/>Worth a visit if you want a good burger. <br/>Also it doesn't break the bank.i dono how these guys make a profit but its really affordable.

I consider this a staple in our family. Absolutely, best value for money in the Clubview area. Friendly staff and really awesome burgers! They get very busy near payday, so phone and order if you getting take out.

Go hungry, extremely hungry! Burger Bistro has the best burgers in Pretoria, with a wide variety of mouthwatering toppings! And they are all good! If you're brave, try the elvis (peanutbutter sauce and bacon), their Jalapeno sauce is out of this world too! They only serve burgers with chips, Steaks, and Nachos. The chips are crunchy and plentiful! Leave room for a milkshake though, or squeeze one in! They have loads of great flavours, like gingerbread, watermelon, tiramisu and creme brulee. Service is always friendly, and they do takeaways as well, be sure to call ahead as they get quite busy.

The food is excellent, tasty and a generous size, the service is great, they have kraft beer on tap, think it was an Irish Red, retro theme is very well done. You dont need more than that for an evening out, will be back.

I took my conference group of 24 people to Burger Bistro on a Tuesday evening. We had exceptional service. The food was outstanding, the service was fast, friendly and accurate. <br/>The atmosphere is fun, casual and entertaining. I love everything about Burger Bistro and will recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good burger in a friendly environment.

This is the best burger i have tasted so far,its big and tasty.The wait is a bit long and can be worked on.Staff is also very helpful while trying to pick your burger and also made suggestions on the most popular burgers after i asked. I will also suggest a waiting area for take-away customers as not all customers take a seat in the seats by the restaurant and land up standing bot realising the wait. We ordered a cheese and cheddamelt burger and a kiddies meal with chicken strips chips and a juice. I love the cheddamelt burger and even add some of my husbands cheese sauce, it is just so juicy and tasty.

I was looking forward to my first visit to this restaurant after all the feedback on Facebook. Walked in and greeted by a very friendly Donald. We were seated and offered something to drink, including their huge variety of milkshakes. Being "boring" , I had the chocolate milkshake. Thick and creamy and totally delicious. The decor is great, with old vinyl records on the table, VW Beetle "bonnets" on the wall. Very retro.<br/><br/>I ordered The Big Cheese burger. What a treat. Freshly baked buns, decent and very tasty home-made 100% beef patty and all that cheese. You could eat it with a knife and fork, but I used my hands. Very messy but o so good. Could be one of the best I have ever had. Comes served with fries on a wooden board. Everything was delicious and you could taste that it was fresh. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely visit them again

Excellent! Great burger options to choose from or you can always just add on/ build your own burger. Delicious milkshakes, big tasty burgers and perfect chips. Service was a bit slow though, our empty glasses stood on our table until we asked for the bill.

Been waiting to see what all the hype was about! Finally, tonight we got out chance! First time there! Service was speedy! Menus were funny and quirky and we loved going through them! We waited a while before the server brought us menus and waited again before he could take our order. This place is filled with flies. Fans and lighting definitely must be adjusted.<br/><br/>The food arrived and it was awesome I had the Bruce Lee burger with chicken and my wife had the vegetarian burger both served with fries.<br/><br/>Definitely the best burger around.<br/><br/>Service has to be turn up a couple of notches and attention must be given to customers. Burger bistro is a great place for lunch, only irritation is the flies and the service well not too great, waited a long time for the server to bring menus and return to taking the orders.<br/><br/>It could do with air conditioning or a fan, the heat in this place isn't funny! It could also be better lit as it's rather dark inside.<br/>A very rustic kind of place with records as place mats, quirky dessert menu you can play with. <br/><br/>As for the food it's really awesome! I had the veggie burger not on the menu, so please ask for it if you are vegetarian.<br/>The burger had mushroom, halloumi, onion, lettuce, mozerella and rocket topped with a burger sauce that was yummy! Comes with a side of fries. Presentation is great.<br/><br/>Hubby had the chicken burger looked great.

Great place for Burgers. We love the names of the burgers, gives choosing a element of fun. The restaurant is also decorated with the element of fun in mind. Loved the Lp's a place mats. The food is wonderful. The Burgers are really large. If you don't have a big appetite consider sharing. The only thing that let them down a bit is that the floor was extremely sticky all over the day we were there, it was not a good feeling walking across it.  We will be back to try a few more soon.

One of the better, uniquely themed, fresh take on what a burger should be. American styled with unique flavoured milkshakes. The variety and combinations of burgers are insane! <br/><br/>GREAT tasting and well presented but has a bottom bun a little too thick for most people's liking. All of this does come at a price. Around R130 for a single meal isn't the most expensive but not cheap either. <br/><br/>A must-try though. <br/>

Burger bistro has a great concept combining the old with the new. Today I tried the roquefort burger and unfortunately as a blue cheese fan, the flavor gets lost in the made sauce. The patty is well seasoned and the chips are tasty. Will have to try a different burger if I go back again.

We bought a couple of hamburgers as takeaway. The service was quick and efficient since it wasn't a busy time of the day. I was a bit dissappointed in the mushroom sauce it was the same consistency as a jelly. The portion is huge I couldn't finish it. Overall good burgers for a take away.

A view into the past with a great selection of good old fashioned burgers, some with a twist. The tables are decorated with old LPs as place mats with their covers as the menu. A selection of interesting milkshakes can be chosen by a paper fortune teller that caters for the boring or adventurous souls. I had an apple pie milkshake that was a bit too sweet for me. You can even play Pac Man on an old arcade machine. The Marilyn Monroe burger was tasty, the atmosphere relaxed and the venue rustic with interesting decor. An enjoyable afternoon.

Had a delicious meal at Burger Bistro! The restaurants is has a rustic, fun feel. I had a three stooges burger and it was tasty. The chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had a caramel milkshake which was really thick and delicious! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful.

The name says it all. Well known for their burgers. They stick to the whole 80s kinda theme with old records as place mats and record holders as the front page of the menu. At first we didn't receive service because we 'Weren't noticed' but orders are really quick and burgers are good. I had the Godfather burger which was really delicious, if you're a lover of basil pesto then this ones for you :)

Sunday night depression hit so we decided to go somewhere and with all the places closed burger bistro it was. Initially the waiter didn't realize we were there but gave us excellent service thereafter. Look guys this is a nice place to go if you want a burger and a beer, and that's it. I mean it all depends on what you want. It's not all WOW and the I'll go back type of place but it fills the stomach .. We had the godfather burger and if you like basil pesto you going to love this. I had the traditional big cheese burger which was also good.. Loved the craft beer. The setting is nice because it got this old music records as in the pic I attached. Yeah but that's it.

Chips were nice and crispy too. Hubby had a lovely thick lime milkshake with his and service was great. We will be back!!

Awesome place . I really couldn't decide which burger I wanted because all of them sounded soooo good. Went there during the week so I didn't really get a good reception from staff. I'll give the place the benefit of the doubt as the food was awesome nonetheless . I will definitely be back with my partner. Keep up the awesome food guys.

Our absolute favourite burger place. Their 'Gandhi' vegetarian burger is not on the menu but they are always happy to make it. Every time it tastes a bit different but I think of the hundreds of veggie burgers I have had it has reliably stayed a favourite. They make a portobello mushroom patty which means no badly made, frozen veggie patties. Their Cowabunga burger special is a great deal. It used to be R50 for a bacon burger with any sauce and beer but unfortunately that changes to R60 with a milkshake instead. Even though the milkshakes are great they fill you up so it's much more difficult to finish your burger. Even without the special it is the best value-for-money burger.

I dont know what everyone is raving about. Most disappointing burger I have ever had. Flavourless and under-done. I had to put the sauce on the burger myself. The chips were soggy and oily. I felt I'll afterwards, I will not be back for a second try.

We bought 9 Cowabunga specials...Bacon anf cheese burger,sauce and milkshake(all for R59,50)...for some of us in the office. Freshness and quality goes a long way...no doubt best burger around. This outlet might even be better than the original one in Pierneef.

We absolutely loved it!! The milkshakes are just amazingly yummy - made with creamy ice cream!! Like it should be.. The burgers are out of this world- juicy patty and saucy. The bugers are HUGE though, I could only manage to eat half of it. The staff is friendly and so welcoming. The overall experience was wonderful. You will most definitely see us again and again and again!!

Best burgers this side town. Funny menu and fabulous milkshakes. The milkshakes will blow your mind. Creamy, flavorful and out of this world. It comes in the big glass you will have your sugar fix. The burgers are not for the shy to eat. They are huge and very tasty. I have single tower and still could not finish. The chips are the slap chips and taste wonderful. Best burgers in centurion.. the place is a little quirky/ shabby looking.. but the burgers! OMG! I don't know who comes up with the combinations,but it's amazing. I've tried 4 different burger,all were yummy. If ur looking for a real burger and milkshake joint, must try.

This place.. Good burgers, good selection of beer and service. I have had their double burger multiple times and it always somewhat defeats me. For the hungry lads, you need a double burger in your life. I did not have a milkshake, but those who did seemed happy with their choice.

The map helped to find the place and to our luck it was not packed. <br/><br/>We had the Tiramisu and Creme Brûlée milkshakes. Oohh, the nostalgia the flavours of those milkshakes brought. It reminded me of when I use to chase the ice-cream truck. The reviews were accurate, those milkshakes rock. <br/><br/>The Three Stoogies and Mr. Miyagi burgers were just what the doctor ordered. Love the burgers, the atmosphere isn't the best the open plan restaurant can be noisy. The ginormousness of the succulent burger makes up for it. As a non starch eater I wish I could order sweet potato fries.

Massive servings, incredible milkshakes.. And an option of medium rare burgers. Now for me, that is an ideal burger place! I smashed the double burger, and enjoyed a very cool evening! They didn't charge us corkage either! Highly recommend!!

Another day another burger craving! This time a quick stop at Burger Bistro in Clubview Centurion. While they haven't been open for long the selection of burgers are impressive. The staff friendly and efficient. <br/><br/>While they opt for a retro decor with red mosaic tiles and one counter tiled with 5c coins the inside feels a bit cold, the wall decorations a bit "rusty". I particularly liked the decorative lights and vinyl cover menus and vinyl placemats. We started with some milkshakes since at the time their liquor license weren't in place yet. The milkshakes tasted a bit fake, most likely made with syrup instead of authentic ingredients. <br/><br/>The burgers were gigantic and the rest of the plate filled with crispy delicious chips. The top half of the bun is mostly decorative since it's impossible to eat the burger in one go. Definitely value for money and worth a visit!<br/><br/>At the time no vegetarian option available.

One of the most unique burger joints I've seen in Centurion. Awesome decor and very spacious. They have a wide variety of delicious beef burgers. A must try for burger lovers.

The service was very good and the burgers were fantastic. The barbecue basting made all the difference and the toppings were generous. The burger was massive, so I had the intention of taking half home and eating it later but no avail. We went to burger bistro for date night. I love the decor and the vibe. We brought our own wine. Although we waited an hour for our burgers, i would do it again and again. The burgers were so fresh and delicious!

Excellent burgers, and definitely worth your money. Fresh ingredients, big meaty patties with some innovative choices. The service is a bit slow at times, but comes friendly and with a smile.
