What a wonderful restaurant. Greeted by cheerful staff as well as the owner himself. He asked if we had been there before, and we told him it is our first time. He welcomed us in and told us, after tonight you will come back.
The service was excellent. Great menu and the food.....out of this world. BEST OYSTERS and so fresh. And food was hot.
We left the restaurant after enjoying a great dinner, and told the owner....we will be back with our children.
Aha! Not even 24 hours later, and we returned with our children and once again, received only the best service and foods.
Thank you to the staff who really make a concerted effort and make one feel comfortable and deliver great service. To the Chefs, you should receive tips too as had it not been for you, the food may not have been so great. To the owner and his wife, we wish you continuous success and we will be back again soon.

Whenever I have meetings in Pretoria I make my way past Fishmonger Centurion on John Voster. Food and service always spot on. Sushi fresh and rice perfect. Handcut chips are crispy on outside, mashy inside. Pure perfection. Really can't fault their consistency. Recently underwent a decor revamp - tastefully done. Owner visible all the time. Highly recommend.
Definitely a hidden gem. The food was delicious and well presented. We had a bit of a wait for the starter but was well worth it. The asparagus was fresh and the prawn and hake fish cakes was great. Our mains was also good.

10/10 dining experience. They hosted us extremely well. The owners even welcomed us. The food was divine and the restaurant itself is very beautiful and inviting. Definitely coming back.
Beautiful classy restaurant with absolutely amazing vibe and
delicious food. I enjoyed every single bite of my meal and the portions are nice and big, so it’s great value for your money. The only criticism I would give is the service, you wait quiet a long time to be served. Just to place the order took ages, waiters seem to be overwhelmed a bit. Even when it was time to get the bill, we struggled to get our waiter. Service needs some work.

I enjoyed the food. The service was excellent. Atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable. Manager was going around and ask if all was good.
The food was heavenly. Whether fish dishes or meat, the sauces have depth of flavour. The cocktails are quite strong, but they taste good. Music and colours give a relaxed atmosphere. Good for a family outing too. Will definitely go back sometime soon!
Wow. Had some fantastic food here. The presentation was matched only by the taste. We had a few dishes. But the sushi is supreme. Try the seared salmon. I will go back, even if it is just for that. Fishmonger is located in Centurion Gate, easy to overlook, but I recommend you put this one on your list
