Review Smokey & Co - Cape Town

Unfortunately, we didn't take any photos of the food. However it was delicious. We wanted to order the brisket bun but they were out of it, so we ordered 3x 500g ribs, a side of mac and cheese, and garlic pizza. So it ended up being really pricey for lunch for 3 people. The ribs are to die for. The mix of flavours of the basted ribs, garlic pizza and chips were sensational. Would definitely recommend. We were initially surprised by the size of the ribs, but as expected with beef ribs, it's sometimes more bone than meat. One of our ribs orders were a bit disappointing as it was much more bone and fat than meat. Despite the size, it was a really filling meal and I will definitely be coming back for more ribs and to try out the brisket bun.

This great place for quality take out food slightly on the expensive side however cannot praise them enough. All around it's a great experience.

Friendly and helpful staff, food has been consistently tantalising. There’s minimal space to sit inside but you are able to sit next door at the shisha lounge

Had to try out the calzones that look so good online. Just wish they would have spread out the “toppings” better as the cheese was all on one side and the meat on the other rather than evenly distributed. At first I thought they were small but they are very filling and good value for money imo compared to other pizza places.

If you’re looking for the best smoked ribs using the proper smoking processes and methods, then Smokey & Co is the place to go! If I’m gonna rate my experience out of a 10, it’s absolute 10/10 for me! Go on try it for yourself Cape Town!

My wife and I heard about this place for some time from friends but never ventured out to try it. Well this Friday we decided to give it a go. We ordered the 500 gram ribs to share and man oh man was it good. The meat was tender fall off the bone. The basting was really good and the portion was more than enough for the two of us. We felt satisfied but wanting more. The place itself is small so there is not much place for sitting down. I will definitely be going back again for the ribs but also to try the other options.

The best smoked ribs joint in town! Had the 500g ribs, chips & Bean salad. The new mince and avo pizza as well as the mince calzone - stuffed😍👏👏👏👏

Good vibe in the area picking up. Next to a trendy hookah lounge. Makes for a nice night out

Probably the best burger i have ever had in my life. Reason also you don't really get a brisket burger anywhere but really worth the buy. Its a shame this burger will come to an end this week.

Food was tasty and didn't have to wait long. Chipotle chicken burger could have been crispier. Staff could have a better understanding of the menu

I have been searching for a place that can offer decent beef ribs for a while in the area since rack n grill closed its been very difficult, found this place through a referral of someone I knew, I was pleasantly surprised was much better then expected. I am looking forward to trying other items on menu.
