Review Escape’ Tapas Bar Restaurant - Cape Town

The atmosphere is electric. The service needs a little attention. Great for big parties or just for a quick bite. This is a great Mexican place with a great selection on their menu as well as drinks. They also hire the venue out for the great team building events, bridal showers or whatever you decide. The boss/host(Quintin) is always great to chat to and very attentive to your every need. The location is perfect however parking is little limited if your are coming in a big group! Join them for the amazing specials they run throughout the week. Will definitely recommend and go again soon! Your welcome🕺

This was a spur of the moment decision. We popped into the centre to have a look at the sushi restaurant’s menu. As we ambled along, we were drawn to the restaurant’s outside seating arrangement and decided to pop in. We were welcomed, and sat down in the "naughty" corner..LOL. The restaurant’s ambiance is complemented by their eye catching décor and the menu tickled our fancy. The friendly waiter introduced himself gave us the rundown of the specials. A bit of banter was exchanged and we placed our drinks and meal order. The waiter checked on us periodically and we never felt pressured by him. The meal was scrumptious and we will definitely be back.

This place is amazing and very down to earth. Serves awsome drinks and the employees are really friendly. Their mushroom sauce is a must have! :) *****

Great vibes! Really enjoyed the day of the dead event that they had, onion rings are the bomb!

Fantastic, friendly service. Great ambiance and decor. The food was very reasonably priced, and with specials from Monday to Friday there's always a good deal available.

It's difficult to rate escape. The foods I have had are really good but maybe a few more choices should be on offer. I love the staff and their house draft is just great. I think they are a little overpriced on some of the items. But Try the Mexican chocolate cheesecake for a real treat - although steep on the pocket. The chef makes an awesome pizza and the Mexican omelette is delicious.

One of the best places in the area. Here are the comments 1. It's a bar 2. It's a Restuarant 3. It's a lounge 4. It's what you want it to be, with some original Mexican recipe foods 5. Nachos starter portion fills you. Full portion will have to share or take the rest home 6. Waiters are good. 7. Music is Mexican 8. Sport channels are open on TV 9. Good wine selection 10. Good Tequilas 11. A few draft beers, not a great selection Notes on the down side 1. You cannot take alcohol home, they tie a name to your bottle and you come back to finish it 2. Bottled water is expensive Give the place 5 stars, nice laid back place in the heart of Marina Da Gama

Amazing atmosphere, friendly and welcoming service and great food. Definitely a place to go and enjoy a meal or even just enjoy the vibe and sip on a cocktail or beer with some friends in their lounge. We had out 9month old with us and they were very accommodating and helpful.
