I really enjoyed being here. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and aesthetically pleasing. They have made provision to catch a match and portion start from around R80 up. Chilled vibes and sophisticated.

The location of this restaurant is superb! You have the Zeitz Mocca Museum a stone throw away, the Waterfront is 2 staircases away, the Silo Hotel is a blink away, the Virgin Active Silo exclusive gym is a few skips away!
So you can literally pop in for a food and/or drink stop or to catch up on emails or to take that virtual meeting that’s interrupting your chilled Friday.
Comfortable leather couches, a service-centric team and a scrumptious Indian-inspired menu await you.
The Yard is always a pleasant mace to visit. The ambiance is nice, the food is amazing and the service is always excellent. Obert was my waiter and he gives such warm and kind service. Definitely the place to visit

Not only was the food amazing but the service was also out of this world, with the manager and the waiters always popping by to ensure an out-of-this-world experience. Definitely the best and highly recommended.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Yard on Valentine’s Day. Great atmosphere and great service. The food was okay. My husband would have loved his steak with veggies but they don’t have it on their menu. Kelly the general manager is doing an amazing job there. I could sit there the whole day that’s how wonderful the place is.

My review here is mainly about the service received.
Nobody spoke to us when we arrived. We eventually just went inside and chose a seat. Normally someone would take you to a table. We had to wait a bit to receive some service. The waiter also missed certain things like when I asked for water - we ended up just leaving it.
With regards to the food, there was no option to have the fish and chips grilled, which is quite odd.
Really had a good breakfast with my colleagues. Was my first visit and will definitely be back. Fresh ingredients and meals are so colorful- tantalizing the palate
An absolute gem. This resturant is a must try for all the dosa lovers. I love their breakfast dosa and mango lassi.
When you are here, do try the Bombay Breakfast which consists of a mild lamb sausage, flat naan bread, roasted rosa tomatoes, cooked spinach, spiced scrambled eggs and buttered lentil (dal makhani).
The aroma from the kitchen is divine and the food is delicious.
Best food, I had the Rib-eye and it was the best steak I ever had…..and the stuff is so attentive and gave us good recommendations

I was a bit sceptical at first - fusion food, but the food was awesome. Very nice setting. We did get a bit lost trying to find the parking garage but it was worth it. Pricing is reasonable and they make a killer margarita. Definitely worth a try if you feel like a relaxed meal with great flavours.
Amazing deserts - pricey though. But stunning venue and very friendly, professional staff. Our waiter made a huge effort to chat to us and to give his recommendations and he gave us excellent service.
The yard is a must visit restaurant at the V&A Waterfront. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing with charming candle light for night time visits and a romantic spot for couples or first dates. They have done away with print out menus. Instead you scan a QR code and the menu is downloaded to your phone in pdf. The food is well portioned and delicious with a wide array to choose from. This place gets a 5 star rating from me.
Great food. Great location. Well arranged seating (both inside and outside). Great service. The mushroom sauce that came with the sirloin was to die for, and I would visit again just for the chocolate lava dessert. Burgers etc all good too. However, quite pricey (especially if you’re hosting a small group), but, as expected.
