Review Wembley Roadhouse Take Away - Cape Town

Occasionally I pop in for something to eat at Wembleys when I'm in the area. A bit more pricy, and sometimes just a bit too busy to grab something quickly. The food doesn't disappoint though, so I'll probably be back!

Had the wembly whopper, comes with chips and a coke for about R110 and was absolutely worth it. The masala steak wasn't too spicy and all the flavors together just gave a lovely taste. You'll wait a while for your order because it's fresh when you get it.

It seems like everyone knows this place already - a real Cape Town experience. The food is not pretty, but is always tasty. I don’t think the burgers are as big as they used to be, but they are very tasty. I always think the stars of the show are the meat samosas - crispy, hot and delicious. There is always a wait, and it’s usually busy, but the food is hot, filling and impossible to resist. Go with an appetite, and get a take out for the family!

The food is excellent with mouthwatering flavours, the quantity is fantastic and the prices affordable. The service at the car order section needs to be monitored as the waiter forgot to place my order causing me to wait almost an hour for my food. I would still highly recommend this roadhouse.

Wasn't that busy and I find that the food is prepared much better when it isn't so busy. So the food was tasty and fresh. The service was a bit slow and the wait rather long. Overall a good experience this time.

Wembley milkshakes are really great, however their service time needs to be improved. We were told that is a 45 min for a hotdog on a Tuesday night. We decided to just phone order two milkshakes and chips, we waited about 30 min for our order

Been away for 18 years in NZ but felt right at home in SA after a " lamb salomi " Filled all the right spots the refreshment garden was a nice touch. Also providing ample safe parking next level awesome.

Their food is high quality and delicious. Service tends to be slow, but this is an iconic Cape Town experience.

Been visiting this place since 1985 and the quality hasn't dropped. The best samoosas by far and the chilli cheese hot dog with fresh chilli. Yum. But my favourite is still the tandoori chicken meal with the roast potatoes. Its like Sunday lunch in the week.

This is a definite place to have a picnic. Make your namaaz. You can braai too at Wembley garden. It's safe and really beautiful and their food is majorly divine The one and only roadhouse with the best 5 star rated food.
