A cute little coffe spot in the methodist Church. Actually dashed in here to get out of the rain and to use the restroom. Coffee smelled lovely & the pastries looked too lovely not to try some. The staff are super friendly and it was sweetly nostalgic to walk into this peaceful reverent space. Pleasantly surprised by all the tourists who had the same idea (dashing in to get out of the rain)👌Nice bold coffee & yummy flaky pastry, in a sweet little church... truly Heavenly on a rainy Spring morning😊☕️🥐🥯🧁

Cool concept, having a coffee shop inside of a church and calling it Heaven Coffee. I really liked all of the plants. The service was what makes it 4, not 5, stars. I was one person and ordered something small and when the staff’s attempt to sell me more didn’t result in me wanting more (because I didn’t want anything else), it felt a bit dismissive.

What an amazing place. Me and my husband sat and drank a flat white and played some chess before walking around the city again. Very peaceful and unique. A great place to take a break when you are exploring the city.

very beautiful and atmospheric place. The building is very quiet, you can come and read a book. BUT, the coffee was not tasty, the hot chocolate felt like powder. The chairs are all in a terrible state, they ruined my leggings :(

What a unique experience. You wont find this atmosphere in any other coffee shop in Cape Town.

You haven't been to Cape Town if you haven't been to Heaven Coffee. Situated inside the historic Gothic Revival Church, Heaven Coffee's warm hospitality and contagious laughter of Mondle , owner and barrister is the very essence of the The Mother City ( Cape Town) and its peoples. Do yourself a favour.

Quick stop coffee for if you are on the go. This coffee shop is inside of the beautiful and historic Methodist church. You allowed to go inside they are open everyday of the week. Take In it’s beauty while you sip on delicious coffee. You won’t be disappointed.😇😇😇

Wonderful setting - in a beautiful Methodist Church. The barista is exceptionally friendly and this is probably the best coffee you are going to get around Green Market Square. I had a flat white which went for R22. 000 - I thought this was reasonable. You can actually sit inside the church and enjoy your coffee. There are toilets available to patrons at the back.

Such a unique place for a cafe. The staff was really great and we had the best brownie in Cape Town here.
Definitely a place to stop at for a short break.

Lovely little place with kind staff and great coffee. You should definitely check it out when your in the neighborhood, but know that it is tiny so it could get crammed.
The only thing I would change is all the “eat, pray, love” frames on the wall:D besides that it’s just heaven.. the plants are a great touch, I can’t wait to go back

Wonderful coffee shop located in the city center. Serves only coffee but the barista Mondli masters his craft. You won't be disappointed. Grab your coffee and go discover the beautiful church, there is a lot to learn from the little exposition inside about the history and problems in South Africa!

Better coffee than their close competitor Rosetta Roastery Cafè. Can’t really beat sipping Joe in a beautiful church whilst hearing the barista welcome customers. “Welcome to heaven.”One word: priceless

This place really does create a little place of heaven on earth. A place where the hipster, ordinary, homeless or weary traveller all feel at home. Socially active church turned café; community at its best.

Absolutely amazing, greeted warmly the smell of the coffee out of this world not to mention the church itself. Both times I popped in this week I was welcomed by the sound of someone playing the organ in the background. Heaven Coffee is definitely a coffee shop worth stepping into #Heavenly
