Wimpy in Bayside Mall had a tough day on our visit: It was a cold and miserable day and the mall had very few people. Load shedding didn’t help matters. So many appliances don’t work and the mall management doesn’t help because there’s no alternative power source like most other malls have built in recent times. But this is what gets a place the wins: Great staff – yes, we’re looking at you Cordelia. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. When the hot chocolate wasn’t hot, she apologised. She was happy to bring toast as requested, but here’s the bonus: She removed the lukewarm hot chocolate from the bill without being asked. It’s people like her who keep a business ticking over. Even during trying times.

Had a BLT with chips at Wimpy and Milkshakes, gees it was so delicious! Really good value for money, love the Wimpy! Friendly staff, really nice waitresses and management there. 5 Stars for sure! Happy customer!

There is no breakfast like a Wimpy breakfast. With a wide variety to choose from, it's the best place to have Saturday brunch. The only negative about Bayside's Wimpy is that they are extremely busy on a Saturday and finding good seating is difficult.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Paarl mall Wimpy, the coffee milk shake and fruit cocktail juice was great and the cheese burger special was awesome! Waiter arranged a special addition for my wife's avo brekkie which was generous, greatly appreciated and tasty. Service was fast, exact and always with a smile, 10/10 Well done guys!🏆👍👍

The service was a very slow knowing its Sunday morning and everyone comes out for breakfast after church or just to catch the very many sales. We waited a while for a menu and asked a couple next to us for their menu while waiting. The meal came with toast but no jam and butter, we had to ask for it. The waiter cleared our table but then we waited a while for the bill and had to go to the front to pay. This was only because they could not keep up with the many customers at that time. The meal was great which was good and the waiter did apologize for the slow service.

Only Place worth visiting in Bayside, I had a excellent experience, the food was quick and the waiter who helped me was very friendly. I would recommend this Wimpy if you want to eat at Bayside!

Normally Wimpy is a very nice place to go to. They are good for coffee and breakfast but nothing else. I decided to try the steak with cheese and mushroom sauce but it was just horrible. It was undercooked and still raw for one. I asked for medium to well done - NOT raw. Secondly it was just fat rather than a piece of steak. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any Wimpy. To make things even worse, I even got sick from the food I got from this Wimpy. I will never go back to this or any other Wimpy. I strongly recommend that you do not visit or eat at any Wimpy.

Excellent service. The restaurant was packed yet I still received good service, didn't wait long for my food and the breakfast was cooked well. I can only fault them on my eggs. They said it was soft but when it arrived it was overdone. Nonetheless, I left happy and full.

The Wimpy at Bayside Shopping Mall, Table View, used to be excellent and some of the older staff members are still great, but since the menus have been changed and you cannot get the bread, i.e. ordinary brown bread is not available and management is not willing to substitute whole wheat with brown bread, my wife and I certainly do not go there anymore, not even for a coffee. I heard from the waiters there that many customers turn around or walk out when they cannot get the bread they request. SHAME on the management.

Wimpy Table View The best thing about Wimpy is that you always know exactly what you are going to get, no matter which one you go to. So the only real difference is the service. The service at Bayside is not as good as the service at West Coast Village, I think management have different approaches to customer service. The one at West Coast is also generally cleaner.

I would like to write a complaint. As I have left several message with the staff to let the owner phone me. But nobody has phoned me. Me and my family of 5 (but 4 on that day) went to wimpy as they where the only place with breakfast at 12hoo in die middle of the day. The food was raw and disgusting service. I would like the owner of the wimpy to please give me a call as i do not want to write everything on this wall. But Table view wimpy will never ever see us again! Never. Tyger valley and Tokai very very good, but table view shocking!!! I want the owner to phone me as I dont think he or she really knows what is going on in there restaurant, and the owner is the one that is losing..... my number is 0720902276 Mrs. Swart
