Greenmarket Square shopping is always an adventure. Situated in the heart of Cape Town’s Central Business District, its ancient cobbles compliment the vibrant, cosmopolitan feel of the city. At various times in history, Greenmarket Square flea market has been a slave market, a fruit and vegetable m
This place was amazing! There were African goods from almost every part of Africa! Prices were not too bad on most items. Very unique, and friendly vendors, not too much pressure πŸ˜‰
Great outdoor market with many local vendors who set up their stalls every morning selling locally made goods and souvenirs. A little overwhelming at first. Nothing is priced and you have to haggle over price but that’s the fun. They all take credit cards, thoroughly enjoyed shopping here! Also som

Very nice atmosphere but offers a imited range of goods. If you're from SA you won't see anything that haven't seen before. They might want to consider promoting goods to unique to Cape Town or the Province.
Very nice spot to get souvenirs for loved ones. The vendors were very nice and products were welled made. The fans makes for a nice wall decor if not using as it's original purpose. All prices are negotiable ☺️. Enjoy your experience!

The story behind the green market takes you back to when slavery was abolished. A place where farmers met to sell their produce
Greenmarket Square is one of Cape town's oldest markets, full of crafts, jewelry, clothing! I feel it’s lit pricy, however Its recommended to visit if you are in town.
This historical square, with it's cobblestone streets, is surrounded by beautiful old buildings. Due to the current situation there are less market stalls on the square and you can therefore see more of the actual buildings. We noticed that the beautiful old National Art museum is closed (and fenced
