Great Coffee and freshly squeezed juices. Food prices are very reasonable. Not open in Sundays remember that. Otherwise a really cool spot to go.

Loved this place! Bright and airy, high ceiling. Menu looked extensive👍 i had pumpkin pancake with bacon. Really nice. I tried a ginger presse with apple and lemon. Refreshing! Good, friendly service, roo.

There's many good things I can list about The Electric: 1. It's pet friendly and welcoming! 2. Great place to work from 3. Really good, wholesome food at reasonable prices Staff are always welcoming and attentive!

This is a really nice place for some remote working. The music isn't usually too loud and the staff are friendly without being over bearing. The space upstairs with a couch and lounge chairs is great and warmer in winter.

Love the atmosphere here. The French onion soup and toastie is delicious! Recently also tried their quinoa bowl and it was super tasty too! Great spot to work out of too!

Unfortunately I popped in too late to try it the food but I did have their fresh orange juice and a chocolate croissant out of this world. Will definitely be back to explore the menu. Absolutely loved the decor and setting.

An absolute hidden gem. Well priced menu, great interior, option for indoor or outsoor seating although indoor is so light that it even feels like outside. Good selection on the menu, especially if you are looking for fresh juices. USB and normal plug charging ports available. Will return, many many times.

On Thursday, I took a friend from New York to THE ELECTRIC and we both LOVED it. She had a sandwich and juice and I had a flat white and pastry. The service was great, the atmosphere and decor perfect and, although the menu is limited, everything was well priced and tasted good. I would recommend them if you love good coffee, pressed juices and sandwiches / pastries. This may become a regular hangout spot for me.

Nice place and music. Food was okay, not a big fan of pickled figs or whatever the sandwich side was. Very yummy juices!

Keeps winning. Every-time. Service can be a-bit slow if busy, but food quality is top notch.

Cape Town Gem 💎 From the second you walk in, the 1st Hello, that sip of Pinotage Rooibos. Everything in this place just made me happy!! They produce their own alternative milks, fresh juices and darn tasty meals!!!

Highly recommend. Fantastic food and drinks. Recommend all their juices. Best in town. Only took a star off due to not updating their google opening time during holiday time and we had to come a few time to actually try the food.

The atmosphere is beautiful, they are over priced but it's right by my work so it's just convenience encouraging me to buy here, once or twice a month. Occasionally spoil myself to the pumpkin pancakes (which is actually not that bad in price) and its soooo tasty, definitely recommend those.

Amazing breakfast options at very affordable prices.The Chicken burger is also a favorite! Perfect spot to work from or chill.

Very good food and coffee. No other guests when I was there (mid-week breakfast) but nice funky vibe and décor.

I looked forward to trying something new in an up and coming area. The venue is really cool. The staff are very nice and efficient. The prices are also really reasonable. We ordered three different meals and sampled all three. However I can't say the portions are very big and I can't say I walked out satisfied. It was a pleasant experience though.

Slick Electric Light bright venue in the heart of a trendy urban revival. Staff are friendly and super efficient. Would love to return for a meal after sampling all their raw juices and shots! Classic red, green and yellows, that make your cells do cartwheels and star jumps! Fit and Alive!!!

What a cool spot !! What makes this place awesome is how it “rises from the ashes“ so to speak because the place is literally built in and incorporates the previously burnt down auto electric shop that sat on the site before hand. Cement, black beams and glass give it that almost predictable industrial look BUT the patina on the walls created by the fire has created something truly unique here. Despite the buildings previous shortcomings this is just a cool approach to making something beautiful from something terrible. I just love how the front facade of the previous building still stands and how the new building is pushed back a bit giving you a cool courtyard. <br/><br/>I will say I stay in the area and walk past this place regularly and because the name shares a portion of the previous buildings name I never clicked the building was revamped and was running as a shop. A bit more signage indicating there is action happening inside would be great. <br/><br/>I stopped by briefly yesterday evening having been told about this places existence and I’ve decided I need to come back and do a full a review of the place. All I had was a bit chocolate and the flavour was there ... the milk was just too hot and I burnt the tip of my tongue. One should not have to wait 10min for it to be safe to drink. I expect this would extended to the coffee as well. Maybe a few degrees lower on the steamed milk factor and I would be well chuffed. I’ve been told the food is good especially the toasted cheese. I’ll be back to taste a few things and post some pictures.
