The eggs Benedict was really tasty and cooked well and was filling. I went there late morning, there's no vibe or atmosphere at all.

Personal favourite of mine. Perfect for brunch. Food was really amazing and so was our waiter. Cinnamon cake coffee was divine!!

We were a big group of 15 doing breakfast .Opted for the breakfast special, and the meal was tasty and delicious. Especially loved the taste of the sausage. Everyone's meals was nice and the service made everything perfect. Thanks for a great outing and lovely food. Would love to try the other dishes.

Returned to Tashreeqas after a year, and safe to say I’ve had one the best experiences I’ve had in a while! The tandoori crumbed chicken was juicy, succulent and the chips were crispy on the outside yet fluffy inside! Great customer service too.

Lovely spot in the suburbs for meeting with friends and family. Good selection of meals and desserts. Waffles were great, like the Belgian crisp and light ones.

What a pleasant surprise visiting their new location for the first time. It's spacious and comfortable, the staff are attentive, friendly, helpful but not intrusive. The food was amazing. Beautifully presented and perfection to the tastebuds. It's a definite must do. You will not be disappointed. We were a big party of people who tried different dishes and each looked and tasted exquisite. Not to mention the deserts. The portions were huge and both looked and tasted heavenly. Well worth the experience and the price.

Had toasted Masala steak Sandwich and steak was very chewy. My friend returned her food and took chicken instead, but I carried on because I wanted steak. The Owner apologized for the inconvenience and I will definitely go back to Tashreeqa's 😊

Had breakfast here with my family , no one had anything bad to say about the food . My meal was wonderful . The service was good.

Had a 75th birthday party here. We ordered ahead of time so that everyone could eat without waiting. The menu choices suited everyone's taste. Jugs of juice and passion fruit with lemonade was a better option than purchasing individual drinks for everyone. It would've been nice if they had jugs of coke zero as well.

First time visit with bro and sister. Seating is ample and the atmosphere is welcoming with full aircon to keep the air cool. The waiters are professional and attentive with special care to be friendly and courteous. The food. My word. The food was absolutely beyond this world. Smoothie too. A definite place to visit. And a plus is that they fully halaal!

Service very slow. Had to wait a while for dessert and our bill. Even though the bill had been requested earlier

Went there with my husband and two kids on Monday 29 January 2018 late morning. Entered the restaurant and noticed that the place wasn't that full. We found a place to sit without any help from the waiters. No one aknowledged us. Eventually we got our menus and decided what we going to order. The waiter (slender african woman with a thin face) never came to take our order. When we eventually got her attention after 15 minutes of trying, she looked surprised and asked if nobody took our order yet. ? Anyway, we ordered a savoury pancake, large hot chips and a mango juice. She asked us if she can bring the juice now or with the food and we said with the food. She still brought the mango juice and then only a long time afterwards did she bring the pancake. We wanted to eat and share the pancakes and hot chips between us. We started eating and waited for the hot chips which was not coming. Again we tried to get the waitress attention. She eventually saw us and walked in our direction, but stopped at the table of other people who came in after us and spoke to them. Then when she was done with them she took a cloth and wiped down the table next to them. Only then did she come over to us. My husband asked her how long the hot chips are going to be and she looked confused a bit. She asked if we ordered a hot chips? The small one? And we had to remind her that is a large one. She said she will go check in the kitchen. She came back eventually with our hot chips. When it came, the pancake was finished already and we so much wanted to eat it all together. We also considered ordering another drink, but decided to leave it because it was so difficult to get her attention for anything. There was a time when she was standing on the side of the bar counter just staring into space. I am originally from the area, but will never consider going back to Tashreeqa's again after this experience.

Was there last night for something sweet and had a warm welcome and promt service.We enjoyed the carrot and cheese cake. Any day any time.

Not the first time held an meeting at Tashreeqas, always attended in time and served our food in time big up to you waiters they know what are they doing but your speed point sometimes gives problem

Best place for breakfast, reasonably priced and can always guarantee the food is going to be good.

I just had THEEEEE BEST Chicken, Mushroom and Corn soup take away. Should've ordered a double portion. It was amazing!

This is by far the worst establishment ive had the displeasure of visiting. The condiment bottles were filthy. Sub standard service. Waiter had no idea what was on the menu. The waiter had no idea that most of the dishes offered on the menu were out of stock. The greek salad was pathetic. Instead of olives , brown oxidated apples were used. Chicken Alfredo sauce- you could still taste the flour . The chicken tikka was uncooked. I found this place to be revolting. I will never recommend this pathetic excuse of a cafe to anyone nor will i ever return.

Ordered takeaways on Sat nite just after 10and altho they were clearing to close up our order was taken and was very impressed with the food we ordered..Had the chicken burgers and steak stir fry as well as the chicken livers.. Thank u Tashreeqas will def be back..

I went there last night we were a party of 5. I on the other hand had excellent service. Starters on time. Food served warm and delicious algm . May your establishment go from strength to Strength in shaa Allah ameen

Terrible service, understaffed and waiters have no clue what customer service is....food brought out at convenience of when your waiter is available, not giving two hoots whether the food is served warm or cold....definitely wont visit again

1st time I went, sat at a DIRTY table for 20minutes without any service or menu's. 2nd time, tonight, served by a waiter who brought me spaghetti when I asked for fettuccini, heard me say I don't eat mushrooms after he recommended the chicken and mushroom pasta and didn't tell me that the prawn had mushrooms served with it. My fiancès burger was raw. Then, in a final attempt to try and get some buy in I wanted to order dessert, I ask for the MENU and he brings me the BILL. Safe to say I'm not visiting Tashreeqah's again. � It's been real. #RealDisappointing

We visited the store this evening (01/01/16). Being a public holiday, the store was understandably busy. We waited a while after which we asked to be seated. The waiter took a while to take the orders which we didn't mind. What really upset us was whilst taking our order the waiter, as pleasant as he was, was called away from the our table by the manager/owner and insisted he take an order from another table and leave our table. Despite a concerted effort by the waiter to explain to the manager/owner that he was in the midst of taking our order, he was embarrassingly reprimanded. The waiter left our table/order as is and went to the other table. By this time, my guests who were from out of town insisted that we leave the establishment due to the unprofessional and belittling manner in which my guests, myself (as patrons) and most importantly the waiter were treated. I reassured my guests that there might be some sort of misunderstanding and convinced them to stay purely trying to restore their dignity. We are regular diners who dine out on average 12 times a month, but in all our time of dining, never ever have we felt so embarrassed and belittled by any establishment. Mr Owner/Manager, you might be disrespectful and belittling to your staff (which are also humans), but the least you you could've have done was treat my guests and I with the respect and dignity we deserve....

Hola Cape Town , Tashreeqas Resturant-Kromboom Center , has some great food and soups one can try :) if you're here near by to this place a must drop into this restaurant. If you are fan of soup go for chicken corn soup 🤤 ( try out kerala parota with prawns curry ) Garlic bread is to good too :D

My friends and I went for lunch and I ordered the crumbed chicken wrap. I was quite disappointed because it lacked flavor. My friend ordered the sweet chilli chicken wrap and that was THE BOMB, it was spicy and sweet, I’d totally order that next time. The Alfredo pasta was average. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. I love the vibe of the restaurant.

The portion sizes were good, the chicken burger was tasty. Pasta size was good and tasted good, the environment is clean and welcoming, most importantly the pricing of the food is very very good.

today I really craved a nice pancake so my go to would always be tashreeqahs caramel and banana pancake with no syrup and some good ice cream so today was no different and I was really so excited but once I got home the pancake was there with no ice cream? like I know its super petty but shouldnt I get what I pay for ? It was just very disappointing that I didnt get what I wanted or paid for. I also went for the Portuguese prawns which after I got out of the shell were not cleaned properly the worm of the prawn was still in there and I was just so put off by everything. just disappointed I dont feel like I would order take out or anything again at tashreeqahs.

Always a winner for me 👌🏻 breakfast is my fav though with the amazing options and fresh foods its always on my list 👍🏻 their pastas are incredible and so are their chicken burgers 👌🏻 the vibe is always comfy and service is an absolute pleasure ❤

Service takes a bit of time, but their food is great. <br/><br/>Great menu to choose from and their portions are generous. Even ordering tea it's served in a small kettle that's equivalent to about two cups. Personally I don't mind the wait time.

Tasty, fresh food that's halaal- a rare find! A lovey dining experience but be prepare to wait. The wait staff was friendly and the restaurant is family friendly and pleasantly busy.

I've only ever been here for breakfast and from what I had I'm impressed. Breakfast is always good and reasonably priced. Food is tasty and service is great. Will definitely be back maybe for lunch or supper next time.

Tashreeqas in my opinion sells the best cakes.  Not a huge list of cakes but it is good.<br/>The sandwiches is also good.  They do however need to increase the menu options and move out of their comfort zone.

My mom ordered a chocolate cake from tashreeqas and I was thoroughly impressed. I am not a sweet tooth but this cake tempted even me. It was really rich but definitely worth the calories

This Halaal restaurant was quite busy for a regular Wednesday morning, so much so that we decided to take away our breakfast instead. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavoured lattes and I found my spinach and mushroom pancake very fresh and tasty. I'd go back to try more items on the menu.

Been to tashrewqas last night with a buddy of mine. He order masalsa steak (ice cold) I ordered a steak and egg sandwitlche and to my dissipoint it had foil stuck to it. Not a very nice experience . And to top it off no apology except for our inexperienced waited who you could see was very embarrassed.

Service and food was generally good. This was a family favorite restaurant until one evening when we ordered our usual meals which was 5 pastas and a chicken sandwich.<br/>We all suffered food poisoning and stomach discomfort for almost 3 days. When we contacted the owners they denied it saying immediately on the phone that she sold 39 of these pastas and we are the first to complain and even after we returned one of the meals that was untouched. Her son just took it without any apologies or refund. Chicken food poisoning can happen very fast if chicken is not handled properly. We regret supporting this establishment for so many years. They lost a loyal customer In 5 minutes. That's all it takes.

Tashreeqas used to give us a good experience, however this changed when we order 4 x Pastas and 1 x Trammezini and it seems there Chicken was off as our whole family of 5 suffered from Food Poisoning. The owner Najma had a great response, "We sold 39 the day before and we had no customers complaining" without even looking through her previous she could quote this number off the top of her head. Pathetic Customer Service 👎🏼

I had breakfast here on Saturday, March 19th. Big mistake. When we got to the restaurant it was busy, which is always great to see. However, we waited a few minutes to be seated. Not long after sitting our waitress took our order. I ordered a pancake and a jug of water. She said she'll have to bring the water in glasses because all jugs were in use... We waited and waited and eventually the food came, but still no water. 20 mins after my food came - which was more than an hour since we sat down - I got up to fetch my own water. I went up to the drinks counter and asked the guy to give me water. My waitress was there and she didn't flinch... Didn't apologise for not bringing it or admit that she'd forgotten. I dropped the water at the table and then went back for my friend's cappuccino. Fortunately for the waitress, she was fetching it from the barrister when I got there. <br/><br/>My savoury pancake was good, although it lacked salt. Unfortunately there was not a single condiment at my table so I fetched salt at the counter when I got the water. <br/><br/>Not once did the waitress or management (or whoever asks at other restaurants) ask us if we were okay. Had they asked I would have complained. <br/><br/>I won't be going back here. All my visits to Tashreeqa's to date, have left me disappointed. Had I known it was a self service type restaurant, I would have been better prepared. <br/><br/>I hadn't ordered anything else to drink. But because of how long WATER took, I wasn't brave enough to risk ordering a drink that requires preparation.

One of my favorite spots to go to get a quick DELISH breakfast. The service is good, food is great, prices are so reasonable and you don't wait long for your food which is the best part of it. <br/>Their breakfast specials are great and brings me back all the time.

I actually didnt eat here therefore I could not rate the food, however that is not due to not trying. I went through here for brunch one day and it was quite busy, my husband and I signalled a waiter and eventually found our own table, we waited ages for a waiter to notice us and bring over a menu. Thereafter we waited again forever for a waiter to come and take our order and after enduring this for quite some time we got up to leave and the waiters/management were still none the wiser. No matter how busy you are zero customer service would lead to zero customers.

Food is good. Service is good. Environment is family friendly. Overall good place to go. <br/>However did find it odd that they were closed couple of times during the day, probably odd business hours.

Went there once again and left the place in satisfaction. It's not all that fancy but they have great food and the waitrons are great too. The Food is fast and their smoothies are amazing.

We went there after the Rondebosch Common Parkrun. We were advised that their breakfast special was good. It was. <br/><br/>It was quiet in the shop, as it was early on a Saturday morning but we did wait a little while for service. We had the budget breakfast and it was good. Spicy beans, sausage, eggs and toast. It was a decent meal for R29.

It's always crowded, it was my first time back since the new owners took over. The place hasn't changed that much - they're strictly halal and their food is really affordable.

This coffee shop / restaurant is atrociously managed. I haven't had one favourable experience here. Classic problem with 100% halal restaurants in Cape Town: there is so little local competition that they're guaranteed business no matter how awfully they treat their patrons. I highly recommend this place be avoided owing to rude, slow, and uninterested service.
