Amazing fish and chips with fair price and full of locals. I like that the place is the same as almost 30 years ago. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you. Chips are not frozen but they could me more cooked. Recommend it.

Not fine dine. However as a amateur fish and chips taster I'm on the look for the best. Decent food portion for a more than decent price. While eating I could see see that the customers arnt tourists.
Thus for me it's great food for the people by the people.

The fish here tastes sooo delicious, I tried both grilled and fried. I enjoyed everything, it’s so fresh even the calamari. Their fried chips are to die for, they don’t taste frozen at all. Portion sizes very good for the price. Keep up the good work guys.
This is a review of the Plein Street branch. Bit of a fly problem, but in front on the street side not their kitchen side. Otherwise clean, affordable and very nice fish and chips. Not the best, but the second best fish and chips place I have experienced, and this is after 40 years and about 20 fish
Owner and staff helpful and friendly. 1st time I've been here and was very impressed. Both calamari and hake was "melt in your mouth" good. Definitely best fish and chips in town. And super value for money. Will definitely be back.

Since the new owner has taken over several years ago, the service and food is very good. The fish has always tasted and felt fresh and they are quite fast in preparing their food. Prices are good and portions are large. Highly recommended.
Owner was happy to oblidge when I asked for a fresh batch of fish and chips to be fried for me as I wanted it still warm when I got home for the family. wow did my family enjoy it... definitely the best fish, calamari and chips we had in a very long time. Thank you Revelas
