What a great place! Service was absolutely tops! Pizza top shelf! Proper bar but clean and it just works! Fab fib!
Good atmosphere and decent pub food at a good price. Healthy salads too.
Had an amazing burger with mushroom sauce. Has an unexpected quiet open air spot at the back if you're looking for your own space, alternatively there's a spacious pub and seating area inside. Staff are friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience!
Very nice, small cafe vibe. Drinks are affordable as well as the food. The chips they sell can rival the best out there. If you are sitting outside while the sun is still high it can be very hot even under the umbrellas so find a space inside.
We popped in for a quick bite and drink. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The snack basket for one was tasty and more than enough for both of us. Stella Artois and Chardonnay was deliciously ice cold.
Best pub in Wynberg. Staff exceptional. Food and service incredible. Atmosphere old worldy, but that's what I like. Place to meet old friends and new ones. Recommended. Please go and experience. Posted from someone who has been a social drinker for 50 years. Cheers.
Nice welcoming English style pub in the centre of charming Chelsea village. Old cottage renovated complete with a sunny courtyard. Well maintained and clean. Snack baskets are great, although they do lack a selection of craft beers.
Our local...Fantastic service always! Fried food a bit on the old oil side but when drinking etc not bad. An older crowd but still fun and not pretentious for the area.
Good pub. Relaxing out door space which is dog friendly. Welcoming waiters who bring bowl of water automatically for dogs. Pizza good. Enjoyable evening.
Great burgers, great price, great beer selection. Proper old English pub by clientele and decor standards.. a bit like a really nice Wetherspoons. Parking is a bit of a mission though.
Absolutely awesome time. Doggy friendly. Food fantastic.
Been visiting Cafe Verdi for quite a few years now. Always cheerful and welcoming excellent service. Enjoyed our breakfast watched rugby and the pizza later was lovely too.
Cosy English style pub with a fireplace in the corner. Decent burgers and pizza, and exceptional service. Bit of an old man's pub, probably not for hipsters.
The best place to call "your local", quiz nights are fun even if it looks a bit cooked. Always trust a place where the locals hang out. Have a Pizza, grab a drink and make friends!
Styled as an English pub, Café Virdi serves traditional pub fare: great burgers, fish & chip, etc. On selected days they fire up the pizza oven.
Pizzas and burgers were very good value for money. Beer selection is somewhat limited in comparison to similar pubs in the Southern Suburbs.
Great local hangout. Best pizza is the pig sty. Great spot for weekend lunches in the back courtyard. Fantastic staff too!
Feel at home and get great service. Food is excellent. They have lamb and chicken pies that's out of this world.
