One of the nicest buffets I've been to in a while.
The friendly staff are right there to lend assistance.
Three is a wide selection of salads that you can start off with. After which you move on to a warm lunch - the garlic creamy steak was definitely a favorite.
Then to finish it off it's a desert table with lots of bite sized treats for you to try
We stayed at the Protea Breakwater Lodge and dined at the Stonebreakers Restaurant twice during our stay. We had the dinner buffet both times and it was great. It is wise to enquire what they offer on the day beforehand as they serve 3 main dishes (normally 2 meat/fish and 1 vegetarian) along with the veg and salad valley. You can have as much as you want and I enjoyed it both times. Well worth it👍🏻

Alway great buffets with a variety of foods to cater for all pallets. The chiefs make a point of making you feel welcome. The food tastes great Staff are friendly and disability access is good. It's a great place to have breakfast, lunch or supper with a view of table Mountain on one side and the V&A Waterfront on the other.
The restaurant is part of the Marriott Protea Hotel. It offers all you can eat breakfast and some of the best coffees in town. Features outdoor seating overlooking Signal hill and the waterfront. It’s 5 min away from the beach and a few entertainment destinations. The food is delicious and staff are exceptionally helpful.
Excellent restaurant with great views of Table Mountain. The food is delicious, the service is exemplary and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing.
Basic buffet but well prepared. Service was good and the amazing view of Table Mountain is worth the trip.
Stonebreakers restaurant has good food, friendly staff and a beautiful view of table mountain and the waterfront. Will definitely go there again.
Food is good, service is excellent. Not suitable for children. The view from our table
I am a regular at Stonebreakers and a Prokard member. The food here has always been good, barring the Covid limitations. I cant wait for the Sunday buffets to return. Kate (Katherine), just a suggestion: your Sunday buffet clients are predominantly locals and church goers who follow the tradition of a formal Sunday roast lunch. They inevitably made telephone reservations pre-covid. In this case you should have their contact details in the reservation book. Market the Sunday lunch with them, test their interest. You could pilot it 1 Sunday per month and grow it as interest increases. I was a bit sad to hear of the unavoidable retrenchments. I missed some familiar faces including Cindy's.
Such a great space and lovely staff too
Well priced restaurant at the Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge. Buffet and a la carte options available.
Love the buffet. Great for budget
The lunch spread was good, but they ran out of desert and we had to wait for it. Over all.it was OK.
