You can never go wrong with a Anat shawarma (sp) it's absolutely filling & only has & uses the freshest ingredients. I'm always amused by their chicken shawarma because it is very tasty. The setting is a little busy at the V&A but really it's Anat👌🏽👌🏽
Sometimes you wake up early in the morning already thinking about the schwarma you will have for supper at the other end of the day. In your mind's tongue you can taste the garlicky saltiness amidst the nutty creaminess of the humus and tahini. Some days the image dissipates and you end up having jungle oats for supper instead, but not today! So we made our way down to the food court in the Waterfront this evening to turn fantasy into reality. I am trying to consume less carbs, so opted for the lamb wrap as the less bready option. Service was a bit slow, but our server certainly made up for it by giving me extra love when it came to toppings! Tomato and cucumber, raw onion, fried onion, red cabbage, white cabbage, gherkin, and my best...aubergine. Needless to say I finished every scrap of mine on the walk back to the car and from my lap driving home.
