Baristas aren’t communicating well , won’t say when they are short of something instead deliver as is and hope you figure it out. Always say before hand when you no longer offer certain items. Got shooters and something was missing , only to be told it’s out of stock , and were just laughing it off. That was seriously not professional

Friendly staff. Good music. Great Bar specials. Awesome vibe all the time. There is a reason it is the chosen destination in Long street to visit. They have reinvented their shooters menu to add more variety to your all time favorites and the prices are very affordable. Very vigilant and friendly security staff too

Great venue to have fun at! Alchohol is cheap and loads of chill space. This place attracts alot of people between the ages of 18-27 and is generally over crowded. Entry fee is minimal and venue is kept clean. Music is ALWAYS on point with decent DJ's on the decks!

Bob's Bar on Long Was told that I have to swipe more than R100 plus 10% service charge. This is against the Consumer Act. When I asked why I have to comply to this, i was told by the barman that it is "company rules" when i asked for the manager/owner there was no one to talk with and i was told to come back on Wednesday/Friday/Saturday to talk to the owner. This is unacceptable, would think a popular club like this would comply with the country's law. Dissapointed to say the least.

Bob's is the best dive bar in the area....should check it out just for the fun of it. Hundreds of different shots that were a buck each. Dance floor, loud music, plentiful liquor. Try the caramel vodka shots. Yum!

Had the time of my life during my stay in CPT all thanks to Bob's. I'll definitely come back here for a night out on the town. I'm not sure if I'd walk in and actually order food. I have scored based on vibe. Alot of pick pocketers and dingy characters, always be careful.

Good place to go clubbing until....One Friday night this guy was telling us to come inside and saying the shots was R1. But when i came to the bar the bartender told me it was actually 30 shots for R50 now thats what i call betrayal.

Wednesdays are for Bobs in Cape Town obviously. The crowd is insane & so are the shots, it's definitely the place to be. Besides the Wednesday night life at Bobs I'd never really go there because I've had their other cocktails & jugs & they're not that great. A little over priced actually seeing that they don't taste too great. R1 shots are the life of the place!

Decent place for post work beers; which is exactly what we did. Double vodka and lemonade for a reasonable price..tho they should add it to their happy hour and have it for cheaper :P A bit bummed that they didn't have chilli vodka. I'm going to have to go back then. Decent outing.

The 'Beerhouse' of shots. They have every conceivable shot in Cape Town. From the tame Springbok to this Habanero infused Barcardi 151 concoction that will make you believe in all higher powers (I can't remember the name, for obvious reasons). They're open throughout the week and a must go when not crowded. Friendly bartenders as well.

So, despite the fact that Bob's advertises breakfast and pizza, nobody goes there to eat. This is a place that you go to when you are already drunk and want to have some cheap, interesting shots after 10pm. They have a nice dance floor, but go with a group so that you don't get groped. Overall, a fun place to have shots with friends and wake up with a nice hangover.

I will give this place a 4 star review for a reason. not because it is good. But because it is honest. it is honestly one of the shittiest bars in town. Drinks are cheap, you play pool here. If you brought a date. She would leave you. Expect nothing more. So by those standards, it does exactly what it should...it gets you drunk and that is about it.

'smart casual to comfortable, mainstream music and house, pool bar during the day and club dance floor by night. with a welcoming vibe, no one steps on anyone, the barmen/women are attentive and they even have a stripper's pole! Bob's Bar is diverse, safe and fun (this is the only place in Long Street that sells Red Square Spirit Coolers, something I always struggle to find.)

I think the shooters here cost R10 and this is there claim to fame. The bar looks like an Indian bazaar. There are 3500 adverts everywhere advertising all these different specials. They are a bar, a pizzeria, a breakfast joint, a Sunday lunch location. They are everything. If you are a bit pissed andlonely amble down to bobs and you will be entertained. Who knows who will be wrapped around the stripper pole.
