Breakfast burrito was delicious. The only American-style fast-food-but-still-yum-food burrito place that I've found in Cape Town.
The plus one special was the best thing I've ever eaten! So much flavour! The service is excellent, such friendly staff. Defiantly going back. My first time won't be the last time. Lovely stuff!
Really amazing and flavorful Burrito! I enjoyed it and think I have found my knew favourite Restuarant. The only negative was my Burrito was slightly soggy with all the contents in it in terms of apperance but the flavour and edible experience made up for it!
I had a craving for something very hot and spicy, and Tortilla Modern Mexican didn't disappoint! I ordered a Burrito special via Orderin, which also included a side of Nachos, Guacamole and Salsa. I chose a veg burrito because I don't like eating meat everyday, and it was delicious ! You can specifiy what fillings you want inside it, such as beans, jalepenos, salad, corn, etc... I specified the hottest salsa option, the habenero one I think, and it was, as expected, super hot. I love hot food and can generally withstand the heat but my mouth was on fire! Didn't have an enjoyable toilet experience the next day after but I guess it was well worth the burn.

Tried this place out for the second time..their burrito’s are incredible and I love the concept of ‘building your own burrito’.I opted for chicken as a filling with peppers,cheese, guacamole and salsa which was really good. The service was friendly and helpful too..the bonus about this place is that it’s halal so the options are endless, would definitely go back again.
I ordered a takeaway mexican bowl, it was not entirely as expected and I did quite enjoy the taste however they are a very popular restaurant and have a very stand at Mojo Market. Next time I may try the quesadillas, but noticed it does not come with dips, they are quite snoop.
This place is ultimately cool, first time I ate here and totally loved it. The vibe is lively and energetic from the staff and their food are decently priced, oh and halaal too. There’s a little tasting area to try out their levels of sauces.
I had a diy burrito with extra avo. They are quite big I had to keep the other half for supper. Totally enjoyed it.

Absolutely faultless.
I'll preface my review by admitting that I did get my meal via Mr Delivery so it left little room for error, but there is always the fear that the restaurant you order from gets your food wrong, they take too long to prepare it etc. And because you get it via delivery, you can't demand it goes back to the kitchen; you really have to just take what you're given.
Having said that, Tortilla Modern Mexican treated me to the best burrito I've had in the city. I got two sizable burritos (one is for lunch tomorrow) two sides and two juices for R140. What a steal!
The burrito was packed with flavour from the first bite up until the last morsel. The meat was tender and the spice had the perfect amount of kick.
This eatery is generous with filling; what I couldn't fit in my mouth the tinfoil wrapping was kind enough to catch for me and keep for when I was ready to get back to it. I used those leftovers as dipping for the nacho chips that accompanied the meal.
I implore you; try thus place out. the special is perfect for a pocket-friendly dinner date (or a hearty feast for one – though I tried and failed and I inhale food).
These guys are going to get sick of me in the future. I intend to take advantage of their menu for my weekly cheat meals.
Just popped in to have a look with wife and daughter this morning. Was hesitant at first as it didn't look very suitable for our 2 year old. Decided to eat anyway, and as it was breakfast time we opted with the breakfast burrito with coffee special. As we went through the production line we added a few extras, I added chicken and mushrooms to my burrito.
The burritos were really good, I could have easily had another one. And to our surprise there were crayons on the tables for my daughter to draw.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely return. Big thumbs up.

I got a burrito bowl with chicken and man was it tasty. I really like the amount of food they put in it and the different layers of different things.
I thought it was quite pricey, but I only ate half of it and the rest will be eaten tomorrow, so it's actually good value!
Can't wait to try more of their stuff.

Such a great concept to the store. The new renovations is super cool and the staff are extremely friendly. Food is great but it's lacking that Mexican taste. They are rather stingey with their food though and portions are not as big as you're expecting. Great place though.
