Perseverance Tavern - Cape Town Central - Photo album

The oldest pub in South Africa, but this location became unpopular for tourists and locals. Check their opening hours because on weekdays, they tend to close early, like at 7 pm.
Nice pizza, the base is nice and thin. Tastes great. There was a dog walking about, think it's another clients', which was so nice to see. The BBQ Wings was nice as well.
The atmosphere here is fantastic. There is ample seating available, and the service is very good. The food is also good, and they are very reasonably priced. Parking is a bit of a problem, but given the location this is to be expected. Having a drink at the oldest bar in South Africa is definitely a
A fantastic old school pub that has unique energy. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the beer and food are really good. There is very limited on street parking which can be a bit a of problem nevertheless I would highly recommend checking them out.

Great service, great food, great prices. The oldest pub in Cape Town still know how to rock it. The bathrooms look stunning after the reservations.
Service and atmosphere is amazing, still wanting to try their food but keep on arriving a bit late lol

They are near the local myCiti busroute and walking distance from all other areas in city center, so no need to drive yourself wh
