We found this copy little gem situated in the middle of CBD. Was a typically cold Cape Town kinda day and needed a warm vibe. The Tom Yum Soup 201 was the perfect dish to warm us up. Didn't stop there, food was so good we landed up having a three course meal. Oh and just a recommendation...the spinach cakes is a MUST!

Yesterday I had supper at the cosy little Simply Asia restaurant in Heritage Square... #DeliciousExperience I had the 514 with chicken with no chilli.... My first time for having this tasty dish, it's a favorite I was told by our waitress. I thoroughly enjoyed the crunchy cashew nuts in this dish and noodles are my favorite so every bite was flavorful and enjoyable. I enjoyed the meal so much that I ordered a takeaway... Another favorite, the "301" Green Curry.... With chicken and coconut milk.... Brocoli, cauliflower, cabbage and basil.... With jasmine rice... This creamy dish sent my taste buds to heaven and back.... Service was brilliant, restaurant was clean and easily accessibly... You should try it 👌 #SimplyAsiaHeritageSquareCapeTown

Great food, super service, and caters to actual vegetarians (most Thai dishes use curry paste that has shrimp paste or fish sauce). The menu is clearly marked, regardless of if you are vegetarian or vegan. In CapeTown, where everything. Seems to be fish, this little piece of Thailand is a treat.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Simply Asia Heritage Square, a cozy Thai restaurant in the heart of Cape Town. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from soups and salads to noodles and curries, but I was especially impressed by the extensive selection of duck entrees. I ordered the roasted duck with flavored soysauce, which was tender, juicy and flavorful. The sauce was sweet and tangy, complementing the duck perfectly. The portion was generous and satisfying, served with jasmine rice and stir-fried vegetables. We also had steamed chicken and prawn dumplings, Thai Spiced Ramen with duck and Tom Yum soup with duck. The service was excellent, thanks to our friendly and attentive waitress named Promise. She greeted us with a smile, took our orders promptly and checked on us regularly. She also gave us some helpful recommendations on what to order and how spicy we wanted our food. She made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our meal. I highly recommend Simply Asia Heritage Square to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable Thai meal in Cape Town. It is definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the city, with great food, great service and great ambiance. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu.

We ate here on a Saturday night for dinner and it was wonderful! We arrived and were immediately greeted and given a table. The food was INCREDIBLE - I would come back every night if I could. While we were seated, about 6 delivery orders were sent in, so clearly this place is a popular one. It’s also not expensive which makes it an even better experience.

I usually order in Uber eats and they have not disappointed, perhaps some spillage here and there and changes in flavor but food is always great quality. In the restaurant was no different. The only downside is the parking across the road being quite pricey if you're not able to secure a street parking. The tom yum soup was the best I've tasted from Simply Asia on the day I visited. We also received Great service from Promise our waitress.

Promise gave us excellent service, clearing the table timeously and appropriately. The jazz music playing in the background was quite appropriate for the occasion we were eating out at the place. The food came quite quickly and the dessert -chocolate spring rolls and ice cream was fresh and divine. 5 stars for this joint!

We couldnt get through to there phone line but we weren't far so we went through, restaurant was empty. Ordered for takeaway and food came very quickly, which is expected. Take away packaging is tops. I ordered sweet and sour stir fry which comes with rice and he ordered a chilli noodle. We both really enjoyed our meals and would definitely return.

Decided to OrderIn some lunch from here today. Went with something I don’t usually order, which is the 319 (basically a 514 with rice instead of noodles) and a steamed duck bun. The order took 2 whole hours to arrive. And the delivery guy claims he went to this branch twice and they were still not done with my order. Not sure who was at fault, but it was not a pleasant experience. Rice was hard and the bun barely filled. Don’t bother with the buns, not value for money at all!

Very busy place and they have a small premises so if you're here in the winter, you might need to sit outside in the cold. We opted to for take a way instead. Took very long for the food to be ready in which time we had to stand outside in the cold and wait because we parked way too far to sit in the car. Food was good, but the experience put a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Not entirely their fault, but they should have advises us it will take long.

Had a hankering for Thai green chicken curry so ordered through OrderIn online. The food arrived within 30 minutes; piping hot and the rice was still steaming. The portion was good A's the curry had a really nice bite to it. Just the way I love it! Had to have a portion of sweeten cakes and sweet chilli dipping sauce - always a winner!

Pretty great! We'll priced, quick (although we ended up picking up our goodies because delivery was gonna be an hour and my friend was starving haha) 🤣 the beef I always find to be dry, so I went for seafood (I definitely recommend #622! The lemongrass with prawns is an amazing combination! - but they need to remove the lemongrass once its cooked cause it's not the easiest thing to chew...) PS if you're looking for "hot", maybe tell them VERY hot because it tasted mild to me..

Been to this location three times and all were disappointing. The first time Zenith and I waited about an hour for our food to come, the restaurant had about three other tables to manage so I don't know what the problem was. The second time I ordered a take away and the two changes I made (linguine instead of yellow, and no onion) were not considered. I was already home when I checked the boxes, so I ate the food begrudgingly but what if I had been allergic or something? The third time probably takes the cake for the worst visit. We were seated by ourselves because no member of staff was to be seen. When someone finally came to take our order, twenty minutes later, we also put in the drinks order. My red wine came the temperature of lukewarm tea. I had to ask for ice blocks. It was nasty. The starters came about 25 minutes later and the mains 30 minutes after that. This specific location is extremely small, you could skip twice and be on the other side, so it's a wonder how staff aren't "around" or food takes super long when there aren't that many tables to service in the first place. A real let down for such a great Thai chain.

I had the worst service at this Simply Asia branch today, it took over an hour for the food to arrive (for only 2 servings), the waitresses were incredibly rude and did not tell us that we would have to wait over an hour to be served 2 noodle dishes when we sat down in the restaurant, and when I complained that it had been an hour and that we had to get back to work they told us it would be only be another 5 minutes which was a lie as it only came 15 minutes later. The restaurant was filled with people who were also waiting for food who had ordered take aways and who were still waiting for their food. The food was tasty, but don't expect good service here. I am never coming to this Simply Asia again.

Although the food has been consistently good (the norm with most franchises), the service when dining in leaves much to be desired. After late night at the office, we popped in for a quick dinner. The waitress seemed to be on another planet. I got still water instead of sparking. We ordered starters that never arrived. When she brought out the mains and I asked about the starters, she looked shocked (as if she just forgot it in the kitchen) and took the mains back. After a few minutes and what seemed like a scurry at the tills, another waitress asked what we ordered for starters. At that point we were so hungry and I told them to cancel starters and bring out the main. When the bill arrived, the water was not on there and then had to wait another 5 min for the bill. I would hate to think what happens when the place is actually full

Ordered the 514 for lunch, food was delivered quite quickly and was nice and hot when it arrived. My noodles tasted great and the portion was very generous. My friend who ordered hers mild did find it a bit too hot for her but mine was perfect. Can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu!

I just called in to simply asia in short market street and they said they don't deliver on a sunday, not very impressed with the service, i mean i previously ordered from them on a sunday and they did deliveries, i would like to know what is going on, it doesn't even say no delivery on a sunday on their page, very disappointing.

I can't believe it was my first time at Simply Asia. Instead of going to the usual suspects on Bree street I decided to try them for lunch. It takes a while to decide on their last big menu but this is what I love about Asian restaurant. I took my time but I felt hurried by the waiter. The restaurant was almost empty so maybe she thought she was being attentive. I finally settled on a prawn noodle dish and it was delicious. I couldn't fault it and they had enough prawns in there for it to qualify as a prawn dish. My only issue are the bathrooms. I just saw one and it wasn't labeled so going in you risk bumping to a strange man. That's not cool. It's a restaurant not a garage in the middle of hammeskraal.

Did a call and collect earlier this eve, problem finding parking and sometimes you actually have to park in the square across the road at your own cost. Perhaps they should create a few bays for simply Asia collections. Ordered my usual 508 beef which wasn't how it normally tasted. So not a great experience this evening

I often place orders (some small and some big) from Heritage Square and I have never once been disappointed by their food. The taste is consistently delicious, their portions large and their service friendly. Even when the order differs from the menu, I always receive the correct orders, which is incredibly pleasing.
