This is a comfy little oasis in the heart of a working harbour. Lovely facilities that gets well maintained. Good security and access control. Friendly and helpful staff.
There's a good restaurant with a full menu and beautiful tranquil views over the yacht moorings. The drydock offers good facilities for yacht maintenance, with a good chandlery on site, and it has it's own crane for smaller boats and a slipway for larger yachts.

I've probably eaten Fish and Chips at over 100 different places in Cape Town and even owned a fish takeaways franchise....and this was the BEST Hake and Calamari with sweet potatoe fries I've ever had...hands down!

The only reason for a missing star was I cleared our own table as the waitresses seemed to be allergic to our table or clearing it even after walking by it at least 4 times!

I attended a function that the Royal Cape Yacht organised and catered for, a week ago. The catering was outstanding, beautifully set out tables with white table cloths on and the staff was very friendly, especially the barman. Really amazing food.
Well done on contributing to making a memorial service such a memorable day.

Amazing place to relax after a days sailing! Facilities and staff are great. Even coming in from outside for a meal and relaxing view is recommended. Great and interesting history lies within this place to view all over. A must for Yacht lovers!

Beautiful setup if you had enough of the wine farms. Food was ok just didn't get to eat of everything as when it was up they couldn't replenish that dish...but otherwise the venue is spacious and perfect setting for a romantic wedding or fun filled function...

Few people know you don't actually have to be a member to go and eat there.
..prices are good drinks are not badly priced and the food is excellent although not a huge menu ..Lovely atmosphere and the outside deck area is amazing but non members have to book in advance .

Stunning views, great spaces and we got to attend the blessing of the fleet and a carnival themed party. A lovely afternoon it would be great if the events had low carb food options(especially in this day and age with autoimmune disease on the rise, a simple salad would have been great) but otherwise a lovely afternoon and event.

Thus was my first-time out with a 44 foot sailboat with some friends. It was a great outing and thoroughly enjoyed it. After our outing we decided to stop for a late lunch at the Royal Cape Yacht club. The menu has a good spread if various meals and in our group the hake and chips was a winner. Other meals that was ordered was calamari, chicken schnitzel and a pizza. All the dishes was good. The delivery of the meal took a bit long but we were seven persons in total. I can definitely recommend the restaurant for some cold beers and good food. See you soon!

A hidden gem of a breakfast destination. Had the Captain's Breakfast seated alongside the yacht basin with the yachts peeking through the mist. Good food. Good service. All round an enjoyable morning.
