Absolutely charming! There is a feel of authentic Italy in this cozy spot in Derry. The melanzane starter is great and the pizzas are pretty good too. Memory, the waitress, was funny and good to us. Worth a visit for a good meal.
Great food, greater service and cost atmosphere. We will be back. Our waitress was very friendly and competent. The bolognese and pizza was delicious.
Great little Italian eatery. Love the Venetian masks that decorate the walls. Both my friend and I ordered pizzas. Wood fired. Thin and crispy bases. I ordered the D&G and my friend had the Californian. Mine was... ok. Would've preferred fresh basil rather than rocket on mine; and the fior di latte cheese was not the creamy thick slices I'm used to... I'm actually not sure if that was fior di latte at all... the massive piece of tiramisu in all its glory made up for it though.
People are very quick to complain when things aren't good and very seldom give positive feedback when things are good.
We visited Bella Italia last night and we had not heard of the place before. We found this due to the Entertainer and thought to give it a try.
No disappointments here! When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly faces and a warm, homey atmosphere.
The food was delicious and filled with so much flavour! Our waitron, Memory, was probably the highlight of the evening. She made our dining experience one to remember with good humour, quick service and a positive attitude.
Will definitely be back and would recommend for anyone in the mood for original Italian food, fantastic service and a great dining experience.

I was hungry and looking for a good pasta, and Belle Italia did not disappoint. The service was great, the kitchen was efficient, and the food was tasty. It was a Saturday night, and the vibe was great - busy, but not chaotic. It truly has a "neighbourhood restaurant" vibe. We didn't get a chance to try the desserts, but the pastas were home-cooked, with such generous portions that I had to take half home with me. Overall, a lovely local spot.
I love going to Bella Italia in Vredehoek, the atmosphere is amazing and the hostess is such a warm and welcoming person. I can honestly say that their pizzas are by far the best I have ever tasted and my favourite past - pesta and feta is delicious. This is my favourite restaurant (even compared to the ones in my home town Durban). I have even asked the owners if they would consider opneing up a restauratne in Fish Hoek. Well done to Carla and Dawide on a fabulous restaurant all round!!
A pleasant surprise. We found this place on the entertainer and really enjoyed it. Such tasty pizza. The place is a little small but it's adds to the atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and the service is great. The lasagna we ordered was good but I have had better. Overall it was a good time.

This was the best Italian food , I've ever had in my life! And I've been too Italy a few times in my life. I hope they have these dishes in heaven. If I could I would eat there everyday of my life. Service was excellent too. Many thanks , see you soon.
Great restaurant to visit with the family. It doesn't get more Italian than this. Good food, great coffee. Won't comment on the service as there was a few misunderstanding. It was still a lovely experience
