My go-to for dinner when I need comforting food. Chicken Chow Mein is my default meal, which always has plenty of veggies that I love and tastes delicious. The spring rolls are surprisingly big and also delicious!
The owners have been there for more than a decade and are lovely people, really friendly and charming even if you're just there for takeout.

The food I must say was very tasty, portions great. But we ordered the prawns and cashews for R175 rand prawns cooked well, just a Pity there were just 5 for that price and mostly veggies. Please advice people that will only get 5 prawns for 175 rand 3/4 veggies and 12 cashews

Hands down the best Sushi restaurant in the Southern Suburbs! I can't stop revisiting Lee's Chinese.
Lee's Chinese have impeccable hospitality. Their portions are generous, prices are competitive when compared with other restaurants and the freshness of their sushi is unrivaled.
I highly recommend a visit when in the area. Alternatively they have a incredibly effective WhatsApp line where you can place orders between 1PM & 7PM. You can also call to place an order on the same number or if you are looking for their hospitality then dining out is the perfect option!

I ordered the chicken chow mein as a home delivery & all I can say is, what a huge disappointment. Firstly, for the price that they charge, I was shocked at the size of the meal. Really? 84 bucks for such a small serving?! And then as if that wasn’t bad enough, the food had absolutely NO flavour. At all! Nothing! I had to search for the chicken. It was basically a bowl of noodles, a few tiny pieces of chicken & cabbage. That’s it. Not much of anything else. This was definitely my first & last order here. For the people who gave this place a good review, shame - you have obviously never had good Chinese food.

This little family restaurant has been an establishment in Bergvliet for years and continues to offer good Chinese food at a good price. We had a small buffet for a private function with soup to start, a buffet of sweet and sour pork, spring rolls, vegetable stir fry and a curry with rice. The desert was ice cream with a wafer.

Got takeways last night. Service was quck and friendly. Unfortunately below reviews are correct with regard to food. Very bland ,had to add soya sauce to Chicken Chowmein . Egg rice too bland . Pork of sweet and sour very , very oily and very bland. Pehaps Lee should be reading their reviews and add more spice/salt/soya to change the outcome of their reviews. Doubt if we will be back .

Truly my favorite location to get Chinese. I have grown up with this restaurant and I still am amazed with their quality and have never been disappointed with their food once. I personally would recommend the vegetable spring rolls, one is never enough😉.

Ordered some takeaways - sizzling beef and sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. The sizzling beef was absolutely bland, so much so that we had to doctor it with soy sauce and spices at home. Really dissapointing! The sweet and sour chicken was however delicious but quite oily. Very friendly staff so I'd really love to support them again but they need to step it up a gear.

My boyfriend had a craving for some Chinese so instead of going to our regular take out spot, I decided to try out Lee's. We got the beef chop suey, sweet&sour pork and egg fried rice which were all good. The beef chop suey is a tad overpriced for the portion though. Zomato please note the attached menu is outdated.

Definitely one of our favourite places to get Chinese food! Their sweet and sour chicken has to be the best we have ever tasted. With their generous portions packed with flavour and love! What more could you ask for?

Best Chinese food in Cape Town. The buffet is delicious with a range of chicken dish, beef dish, soup, sweet and sour pork and chicken with spring rolls and a rice and noodle dish. Go there hungry. Takeaway is speedy and food is always of a high standard.

I do love my occasional Chinese food, with a standard order being chicken chow mein and sweet and sour pork and chicken with prawn fried rice. Once you have found a place that does good Chinese food, it's difficult for anyone to convince you to try other places... But I thought I would give Lee's a chance. The prices are slightly higher than the competition "Mr Foo", but the food... Wow, worth every cent! Rating of food 8/10

Really superb Chinese, best we have had in a long time and portion size nice and large we could have ordered less. We had chicken spring rolls for starters that were delish!We has delicious chicken chow mein and veggies were cooked and crisp. We also shared crispy sweet and sour pork with egg fried rice. All very tasty and we'll certainly order take aways from them again!
