What an awesome experience this was. Firstly my wife and I had to walk almost 1 kilometer to get to the new location of the establishment. We knew what we wanted and we were prepared to put in the effort. The service was very good. But the meals were better and very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our pasta meals. To show our gratitude, we even gave the chefs a tip. I personally told the chef how grateful we were and how much we enjoyed our meals. Definitely a great place to enjoy a good meal. Remember that you can acknowledge the person(s) who prepares your meal. Remember that they are the people who will make you choose to return or avoid the establishments in future. You may even recommend them as a good place to enjoy a good meal. The walk back to the car was good exercise. I highly recommend this place.

I placed my order and watched the Asian chef prepare my meal.While I was looking in on how my meal was prepared I saw a junior chef chopping a carrot to add to my meal.While chopping the carrot she cut her thumb and it started bleeding, she then put her bleeding thumb in her mouth and continued chopping,Without even acknowledging that I am watching her!!!!She passed the carrots to the chef to finish off my meal . I was horrified , what kind of business are you people running??Don't you do hygiene training with your staff?? I immediately asked my money back and left in utter disgust. With all these diseases and viruses going around how can the chef think its ok that food comes in contact with her blood and saliva. Even worst she thought it was ok doing what she did in front of me as the customer....

My preferred takeout spot when hitting the beach for sunset as it’s a non messy and admin free meal to have on the beach. I ordered my usual 505 with extra garlic and medium sauce and it was extremely bland. Not much flavoring luckily I asked for chillies on the side to give it some taste. The staff however was very friendly, not sure if the chef had a bad day but I ate from this outlet plenty of times and it never tasted like this.

I've eaten here before and came back for the sushi special, which has been discontinued. None the less i ordered vegetarian fashion sandwiches which is the only sushi I eat. when they came they only had cucumber and mayo in them, no Avo like they usually do. They were remade for me but we're still really not nice at all and quite hard to finish. Everyone else at the table also had okay sushi but no one enjoyed it. Really not nice sushi. Pitty!

I like the concept of ordering by number. I used to only order the 505, but something changed. Either I'm having too much of the stuff, or they've changed something in their recipe. The noodles were very bland and it tasted as though they left a key ingredient out but I couldn't say exactly what it was. I've ordered a couple of times from this specific branch and the last two experiences left me disappointed. The staff are friendly during the day but so far, I find them less enthusiastic as evening approaches which isn't ideal as this is their busiest time. It can be quite a wait, so try and avoid the 7-8pm rush if you can.

Such a bad experience, ordered sushi, picked it up from the restaurant. When I arrived home, they got the order wrong (after I have gone through it twice on the phone) and the tuna sashimi and half the salmon roses were not there. I called and they informed me that they do not have tuna (sashimi). They offered to send the driver and deliver the rest of the salmon roses which they did. However, I found bones in two pieces of salmon. Overall I found the sushi very average, the rolls were huge and messy. Will not order again.

Always a good clean option, I never go fancy and order double meat (pricey) but the food is always very tasty and consistent , I like that they are always willing to accommodate my changes to any of the dishes when it comes to ingredients , this shows how fresh the dishes are and not pre-made , hence the reasonable amount of time the food takes

I always enjoy simply asia but the dish i had contained prawns and unfortunately the vein was still left in the prawn, very off-putting. This is not the first time it has happened and I brought it to the attention of the manager but clearly nothing was done to fix this problem.

They say that doing the same thing twice and expecting the same result borders on insanity. I clearly have proven to be insane coming back here for the third time and being utterly disappointed. This branch (relative to some of the others I have visited) is just so neglected and shockingly dismal with regards to quality of food. Reading some of these previous reviews, the management clearly does not care. Come on guys, get your act together or waste your money on doing something more constructive than wasting our money.

Just terrible, two very bad experiences and we won't ever go there and risk a third. I am not sure how this establishment still remains open, but just goes to prove that if a restaurant is in a high traffic location, people will still get sucked in and pay the price.

I've always been a big Simply Asia fan, but my most recent experience left me somewhat underwhelmed. I ordered a takeaway curry, which was truly delicious (fried chicken, coconut and jasmine rice) but there was way too much rice for the amount of chicken I got. I also ordered a portion of spring rolls, which I usually consider the best in the city from this branch, and for some reason they were very dry, which made me a bit sad. I will be trying them again to see if it was (hopefully) just a once-off mishap!

Consistently brilliant Asian cuisine. Haven't had a bad meal here yet. The 403 and 311 are very good. Try the 403 worth glass noodles instead of yellow noodles.

Load shedded and starving I wondered off to Simply Asia because I was in the mood for a Thai green curry. I'd only been to the franchise stores in Johannesburg before so I was keen to see what it was like in Cape Town. My chicken green curry (301 on the menu) was delicious and actually better than the one in Joburg. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty and the heat of the spice was just right. The staff were attentive even though they were slightly overwhelmed with customers who had come to get dinner (takeout mostly). The ability to pay with the Snapscan app was an unexpected, added bonus. While I won't be coming back on my holiday it isn't because of the quality of the food or service being poor, but rather because I can eat the same thing at home.

Quite a nice meal with lots of flavors. The prawns however could have been washed better as the "poop chute" was still attached on a couple of them. There was also not much calamari in the one dish ordered. Overall though the service and the flavors helped me enjoy the meal.
