Quick lunch stop to pick up a takeaway Thai crunch salad and CBC juice. <br/><br/>Love this branch, they have a DIY option where you can create your own wrap/salad/bowl; perfect for when you've tried everything on the menu and wanting something different. <br/><br/>I however really love the Thai crunch options (be it a salad, wrap or the bowl) and rarely veer from it. The CBC is so refreshing and definitely my favourite juice on the menu.

Popped in for a smoothie. I liked the dƩcor, especially the fresh leaves and veg. The place is also nice and spacious with the usual assortment of trendy people you can expect to find in this area. The service was good and fast. The low fat protein smoothie was similar to ones I've ordered elsewhere. Forgot to take a pic but got one of my friend's vitamin see.

My weekly number one go to for a quick smoothie! Peanut butter Bliss is just the bomb. Their wraps are succulent especially the chicken caesar. Friendly staff just make it much more enjoyable and pleasant. <br/>Unfortunately last week my visit was a disappoint as my smoothies that I ordered were not mixed well. <br/>The new mango berry which I had 2 weeks ago was delicious however last week's was lacking berry. <br/>The peanut butter bliss wasn't mixed well and lumps were floating around. <br/>Let's hope this weeks visit is up to standard.

Particularly enjoyed this branch, the space is bigger than other branches and the quality of their wraps were much better. Had their Moroccan wrap which was more wholesome compared to other branches, paired with a coffee date smoothie and I was entirely satisfied. The service was good and their staff are very friendly!

This, along with the Canal Walk store, are my favourite branches. I've previously had a terrible experience with the Union Castle establishment, so I have resorted to rather spending my money here. The staff are friendly, the service is efficient, especially during the lunchtime rush, and the food is always fresh and yummy. My go-to is the Old Style Caeser Wrap with a Tropical Greens smoothie (bar the ginger). Yum!

Their new menu has redeemed itself, Moroccan wrap and the lemon aid smoothly was to die for. The look of this branch has also changed quite a bit and I have to say I quite like it. A Kauai meal has become a bit pricy but The food has also improved.

Really happy with the new Kauai vibe.<br/><br/>Had a bad experience at this outlet, though.<br/><br/>There was no staff member permanently stationed at the "order" till and I had to wait in the "pay" queue to order my food. Which means the system had to work in reverse and from the "pay" counter staff to the food preparation counter my order got lost and I waited half an hour for a wrap. I went inside to ask where my wrap was and they had "completely forgotten about it".<br/><br/>Also didn't feel like the staff communicated clearly or spoke proper English- it was hard to understand/hear what to do or where to go. Training??? Their attitude was a bit dismissive and confused.<br/><br/>When my coco mango smoothie and my mexi wrap did finally arrive, I was pleased with the quality and taste of both.<br/><br/>The food was good, just hope it was easier to order and receive.

Love Kauai's new look and menu! It's sophisticated and delicious. <br/>The awesome thing about this specific Kauai is that you can create your own wrap or salad as the freshest ingredients stare you in the face. It makes healthy eating a bit more excitingš <br/>My favourite off the new menu is the Mexican Bowl it's absolutely divine. <br/>I love all the new smoothies that have been added to the menu but my favourites would be the nutmilk smoothie and the Acai-Me smoothie. Definitely worth a try.

So excited about the new and improved Kauai!!!! I have always been a lover of the peanut butter bomb but I'm even more I love now . Their new menu is just so raw and fresh it's amazing . If you're feeling like something really refreshing , the coco mango smoothie is the best and for something more filling and protein-filled , definitely he peanut butter Bomb . Tried the new Kauai this afternoon for a late lunch with some friends. Service wasn't great, they were a little slow but must have been because they were so busy! Had a 'build your own salad' and was so impressed! Fresh, delicious ingredients, they weren't shy on the lettuce. Didn't add any protein so was R40 in total and I was so satisfied afterwards! Can't wait to come back and try a quinoa/brown rice base or the low carb wraps!

The new Kauai is incredible! The layout is clean and modern and the food is fresh, healthy and delish. I had the make your own wrap and it was both filling and incredibly tasty. Serious value for money.<br/><br/>The make-your-own includes a wrap of your choice with 4 fillings (I had tomato and onion salsa, beetroot, corn and cucumber) with a protein filling (roast chicken) and a cucumber, yoghurt and mint dressing. I highly recommend that you pay the restaurant a visit - I was well impressed!

I loooove the new Kauai! The look and feel is simple, industrial and shows off the fresh fruit and veg on offer. I had the thai-style wrap with crunchy broccoli, chicken, ginger and a peanut sauce - delicious. The portions are larger than before but unfortunately more expensive too (although totally justified now that the produce is sustainably sourced and the chicken is free range). Dominique Andrea Vieira and I may have found our new fave take-out spot...

We were very impressed with the slick new black & white look and feel of the Kauai in Kloof Street and the fact that they have made the food and ingredients the highlight of their offering. We sampled some fresh juices and are yet to go back and try more salads and wraps. The wraps are bigger and much better than before and due to all the ingredients being sourced from reliable organic suppliers, the prices have also inflated a bit. The new menu is far better than before, giving you the option to build your own wrap or salad so that every time you go, you can try something completely new. Looking forward to our next trip.

Lovely stop off to get something quick, easy and healthy. Whether it's a shot of wheatgrass and ginger, a breakfast bowl, fresh green juice, smoothie or wholesome veggie wrap. I haven't once been disappointed by the quality or freshness of their food/drinks. Love kauai's healthy initiative . They even make for a good study space (when the walls at home start closing in).

When ordering at Kauai I always choose the dishes with no bread or wraps. There are some pretty good options: noodle bowls, great chicken and courgette soup in winter, tasty Thai salad and my latest craze 'Mexican steak bowl'. These are healthier (which is why we choose Kauai after all) and I find a much more satisfying. Kauai offers a quick, affordable, cleanly prepared meal and this branch has particularly friendly service staff.

I donāt like Kauai! There, Iāve gone and said it. When they first opened I went there because I felt I should, after all it was the healthy thing to do. And whenever a friend would suggest we go to Kauai I would nod enthusiastically, because to suggest anything else would be like saying āI donāt like healthy food, I donāt eat healthilyā, which very much felt like calling myself a fat slob to others. But Iām over that, think what you may. I find zero attraction in smoothies and wraps and sandwiches falling apart at the touch spilling all sorts of grated vegetables. There are two things I do like about Kauai: 1. Coffee. Seriously, try it! They have very good coffee. But don't have it, as I did, with a chaser of wheatgrass. I threw up violently! 2. The Buzzer. So cool to carry it with you while you browse at the shop next door waiting for it to buzz so that you know your order is ready for collection. I wish other fast food outlets would adopt them.
