The service was really lovely. Our waitress Zama was very sweet and attentive. The manager on service, Mandy made a point to come and have a word with us before we left and thanked us coming by. And oh yes, of course the steak was grilled perfectly 😘 Many Thanks from Sharon

Our waitress, Zaman, was helpful and friendly and did not bother us. She was available and courteous and we loved that. Mandy the manager was super chatty and informative. She helped create a lively welcoming atmosphere. We like the changes and look forward to being "the regulars". Joss

Great food! I didn't have to wait to long and I was greeted by the hostess as soon as I entered. Staff kind and food came quick. I'll definitely come again! The atmosphere was also very great and the food was affordable and nicely done to my request!!

Under new management and now Halaaallll!!!! Food and service always superb. The vibe is always top tier. Will definitely be back. Reheat my left overs for breakfast, so good!

Went to spur Strand street, for breakfast waited abit long but was satisfied with food served. The manager faldielah is a gem to this Establishment she does damage control after any wait and makes you feel at home and that's all that mattered. Maybe one more waiter on a morning shift will help.

Once again, the branch outdid itself at our last visit on all levels. We have been customers at Apache for the past 30 years with many ups and downs. However, it's smooth sailing as we get the utmost personal service, especially from I think the seniors' name is Faldie, we love her attention to detail. My family of 9 will always come back just for the friendly atmosphere from the staff. Almost forgot that you need to train someone to operate the MNet decoder. I would have loved to watch the rugby.

We ordered some Apache Combo and part of some pork meat was not well done. We then as politely to get it well done, then The Manager came by himself to assist us and apologized. Besides it was not a complaint to us, we just find the stuff very welcoming and able to please their customers. Thank you so much Mr Manager ( Apache Spur Steak Cape Town) Salute.

First time Spur in 8 years, and still as good as I remember. Honest, delicious food, good service and good prices. There's a reason why Spur is a staple of the South African experience

About 2 weeks ago I ordered food from this Spur. My delivery driver from UBER, gave my food away to the wrong person then proceeded to lie and tell me it was spurs fault. I called this restaurant to let them know about the unfortunate circumstance, and that i had sent the uber driver back to collect the correct food (as he told me he was given the wrong food). I dealt with a lady named Eden, who not only kept the uber driver there while they made me a whole new meal, but when i reordered online to ensure i paid for it, she cancelled the order, phoned me back and told me it wasn't necessary. Amazed and blown away by this act of kindness i requested to speak to her manager to pay a compliment about Eden herself. I then spoke to the restaurant manager named Alda (please excuse the spelling if i have gotten it wrong) who also was the kindest and most pleasant lady. Who further the kindness by apologizing for something that was even their fault. I had the pay compliment to this establishment and i truly hope the owner reads this and understand what valuable assist he/she has helping run that business. Every time i want spur, i will be ordering from this place, not because of the free food, but rather its because its so wonderful and refreshing to deal with such competent, polite, friendly and professional individuals. Eden and Alda, thank you for everything. P.S, The food was AMAZING!

Waiter was friendly food came out quickly chips was a small portion though. The restaurant was clean all covid 19 protocols observed. Disappointed in the small mug they use for filter coffee. It is a rainy winter's morning in Cpt I expected the same sized mug other Spurs use. Other than that a good experience.

I would like to give my sincere gratitude to Mandy Darius for finding my personal belongings in Apache Spur while dining with my friend She's a very humble blessed with honesty. Shes a keeper.

Lunch after 4hrs at dept of home affairs for passport renewal, damn the flight to Namibia is only 2hrs. So starving once free.<br/><br/>It was nice sitting on the balcony watching the busy streets. Food came within 20mins.<br/><br/>You know how it's said that u should order the restaurants' speciality and not other things...well it's true. Ever the optimist, I ordered the chicken snitzel topped with cheesy prawn sauce. The snitzel was oily, the 3 prawns overcooked and far too much cheesiness to be with a prawn. A more subtle cheese flavour needed so I could actually taste prawn.<br/><br/>Other side of the table had the 250g fillet. I had a taste. It was perfect.<br/><br/>Moral of the story, don't order lasagne at a Chinese restaurant

People working here are very friendly towards customers. Burgers were quite tasty. It is a good place in Cape Town to go and enjoy with friends.

I ate yesterday at spur and it was really bad first time to try it at sea point and yaa I ordered a burger and I really didn't enjoy it it tasted old

The Spur at Grand West is pretty decent. Larger portions of food compared to the other branches. However I feel like the Spur name has lost its value.

Great spot for a late night snack. Attended Tuning the Vine but was very disappointed as no food was served. Thank goodness for Spur! The service was friendly and fast as was the food. Deeelish!<br/><br/>Thank you Spur for being open after 9pm on a Wednesday to ease our attack of the munchies!

It’s only been 6 months that I’ve been in Cape Town and I’m trying to explore much of the city as possible and that includes family chain restaurants. <br/><br/>On Monday my friend got back into town after having spent the weekend in the Eastern Cape and what better way to catch up than over a meal at Spur. I have to say this was the most beautiful Spur I’ve been to and that’s probably owing to the view. As it was burger night, the place was full but the service we got was super slow. We waited 30 minutes for our bill. We also didn’t receive mints and toothpicks. The portions are also quite small as I’m used to my fries & onion rings covering the whole plate. <br/><br/>The caramel milkshake I had was good though. Every Spur experience is the same, it’s the kind of service you get that determines how good or great it and unfortunately because of the service I got, it was just okay. <br/><br/>Will revisit though just for the view.

Generic Spur review: It's every South African's duty to try out Spur. I'm a Spur veteran, been going since I was a little boy.<br/><br/>Usually I go for the deep fried calamari, ribs, steak and breakfasts. Their onion rings are crispy and delish. Sometimes their fries are under cooked, but when they're done right it's best with their 1000 island sauce. I'm a huge fan of their double chocolate milkshakes!<br/><br/>The reputation Spur has built should be taken into consideration, this is not the kind of place to have a dining experience, you know what to expect and it delivers that very same mediocre service everytime, at a price. Same flavour BBQ sauce on most meals, it's filling and tastey.

People with a taste for life for sure! 👌👌👌<br/>Amazing place to spend the night with family and friends or even a cheeky coffee date 😊. Never had a complaint. Spur has great food and never dissapoints me. And don't forget all those specials!

Chain restaurant with good African appetite food. Large portions at reasonable rates. The stakes with the BBQ sauces makes ones mouth water. Huge place for family dining, quick grab and friends get together.

I find their portions small compared to the other spurs but nonetheless, spur breakfast can never disappoint ! Quick, filling and so convenient as its so close to work.

We had take away tonight! As always we need loads of the spur sauce, has a joke I said can I have a bottle and I'll bring it back in the morning. The manager laughed but then offered me my own bottle for R27 I agreed and she said its yours at the discount. Her ability to adapt to guests was a breathe of fresh air and she should be rewarded somehow! Thanks guys see you soon

Had a great lunch with my friend and I have been here 5 times and I always have great food and service, keep up the good work Apache Spur. I will come for more steak 🍔🍟🍗

Great family restaurant. Usually the food is great and the service is acceptable, but I have had 2 or 3 times that the service was rude and off putting.<br/><br/>They have great specials as well, me and my significant other have went for both the Monday special (Buy 1 burger, get 1 free) and the Thursday special (Bottomless Ribs, Wings & Calamari).<br/><br/>All in all this is a great value for money family restaurant.
