I had such a great time here during the Open Streets. The performers were right outside this bar and it was great to sit here and have some beers while watching the arts taking place.
The beer is not over priced and is of a good quality.

I'm a bit of a fiend for Mexican food of any kind. And Cabron really delivers on legit fare, fresh and tasty. The fish tacos are absolutely fantastic. Paired with a beer on tap, this spot is perfect for a summer snack. Try and stop by in the evenings on a popular night to absorb the vibrant Bree St. atmosphere.

Very nice tacos! Well made and delicious! Loved the chilli sauce they make. No bathroom and was abit of drain smell outside. I know they cant really help that but it made the experience that much more less appealing. Overall WORTH A TRY! ARREEEBAA!

Had a great meal at this little spot on Bree Street. The food was yummy – good portions, fabulous flavours – and the service was great. Giving it four stars to leave room for even better things to come :-) This is essentially a sidewalk eatery, with little indoor space, but I would risk bad winter weather in the next few months to fill up on those tacos. Totally worth it.

I would love to post a picture of my taco but I'm still waiting for it.<br/>We went in on Wednesday evening during Tuning the Vine. It was about half way through the route and it was quiet so we decided to get mid wine tasting snack. We ordered, paid, and then sat inside watching what we thought was our food being made. Several dishes came out of the kitchen, past us, to the tables outside and after about half an hour we started to wonder what was taking so long. When we asked the guy behind the bar, he told us he had forgotten and we must just wait, it won't take long to to make. Needless to say we asked for a refund because we were losing precious wine tasting time.<br/>It's a really cool idea and the décor is rad, but how do you forget about people who are sitting staring at you?

Cute place and good service but the tacos were very average. They do a taco special on Tuesday - by 2 and get the 3rd free which is cool however my fav taco spot is definitely still the taqueria !

On offer they have nachos, tacos and a few other items. The menu is not that big but the flavor of what they have is very good. The taco flavors to chose from is either pork, beef or seared tuna and they are all very very good.<br/><br/>I will say this though, it is a bit pricey at R50 each, they are not very big and they don't come with sides. I would suggest look at the pricing as internationally most tacos come either 2 or 3 per serving and not just 1. <br/><br/>The Bar is a bit limited with space but this somehow adds to the feel of adventure.

Reserved the inside for Cabron this past Saturday for my farewell.<br/><br/>What an eclectic space. I know we are supposed to be complaining about tequila bars/Latin food cos they're "everywhere." I say the more, the merrier.<br/><br/>Service:<br/><br/>Firstly Cabron's owner, manager and staff were nothing short of efficient, welcoming and helpful. <br/>Not once did it feel like our party was a hindrance. We were all allowed separate bills and we could pay by Snapscan.<br/><br/>Food:<br/><br/>-Loved the veg taco although it got a bit messy eating it as you do! <br/>-Friends raved about the fish taco<br/>-Beautifully presented food on circular wooden boards<br/>-My margarita was SO good everyone. I loved the fact that it was so smooth and it was in a globe-like whisky glass. Made for less mess.<br/>- Plus, the most hectic and great tequila ever, thanks for a super party!

Maybe we are spoiled in Cape Town. We have incredible Mexican food/ restaurants. (The Tacoria, el Burro, Fuego...) and to be honest how difficult can is be? From getting to Cabron it was an uncomfortable and bland experience. After waiting for service for 20min we realized we had to order and pay at the counter. We had beef tacos and the nachos which still took about 30min to make. Both was terribly average and overpriced. Who does hard tacos? It's a great location and I hope they sort out these problems, but I won't be surprised to see a To Let sign in the coming months.

This amazing Taco Bar is the new kid on the Bree Street block. The self service style bar has the most simple, yet effective concept and caters for everyone's palate. Last night, a friend and I were keen on some nibbles, and stumbled upon Cabron while walking along Bree. The vibe was festive and the food smelt amazing. I opted for the Pork Taco, which tasted authentically Mexican and my friend got the special of the day, which was buy two chicken tacos, get one free. No complaints whatsoever! Will definitely return to try out EVERYTHING ELSE on the menu, and the sangria. Good job guys!

Popped into Cabrón for First Thursdays before it got too crowded, and the crew welcomed us with open arms and huge smiles. You can see they're so psyched ahout their new place. They have two beers on tap and two or three more options in the fridge. The menu is small but gives enough options. I had a pork taco, because the nachos weren't being served yet :( For R45, the single taco was packed, but was a little dry. I'd go back though, because they've got an awesome vibe, good music and clever decor.
