Good fresh food with several vegetarian options and local craft beer. Nice staff, too.

The service is awesome. The breakfast special is attractive and a good way to start off the day.

This is a place we frequent as it's close to the offices and convenient for off-site meetings or just to take your office visitors to for a quick refreshment. The waitresses are always friendly, the coffee is great and there are always daily specials to enjoy. Smokers also welcome as their are a few outside tables however we prefer the cozier setting inside. We have never had a bad experience.

Predictable and reliable, consistent great food, good quality. Our regular co-patron passed away recently and we had a breakfast in her honour today. This is a regular haunt for more years I can remember. They almost deserve five stars. To complain would be nitpicking.
Friendly staff, professional.
Today's old-style food set in a theme of the press. Think Fleet Street.
Our breakfast of eggs with a decent Boerewors sausage, fried tomato and baked beans with bacon and toast went down rather well. The complementary filter coffee sweetened the deal.
Service was prompt and friendly. Always sad to leave, really. It's your loss if you don't visit.

We have been going here for years every morning before work (yes years) as it the best coffee spot in the CBD. The coffee is to die for! The staff are awesome, consistent and always friendly. They open SUPER early in the mornings and their food and breakfasts are well priced. I would not go anywhere else if you paid me! :)

Lovely, friendly staff and the food is outstanding plus huge value for money.
Not a fancy cafe, but comfortable seating, friendly faces and you can see, lots of regulars popping in.

I love the warmth and friendliness of this place and staff. Their food is excellent and very well priced. Daily specials and Asian cuisine inspired soups are yummy. The internet is always on, the elbow room plentiful and couches spacious. PS. IF YOU ARE A CARB AND MEAT EATER, YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY THEIR BEEF LASAGNA!
I know I sound like a broken record, but you must come down here and try their chicken salad! So many dishes to choose from and even though I am here DAILY, I just tried their chicken salad for the very first time. It ROCKS and you won't be disappointed!!

Went to Cape Town CBD on business and decided to try their farm breakfast . From the moment I entered the staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast followed shortly after I had my seat . Overall satisfied with food , price and service... Will definitely revisit when I am back in the CBD

Love Love Love the Eggs Benedict. Best brekkie in the CBD.

I like the name, sounds glamourous. Sitting outside having drinks and a smoke while others rush by the in the CBD hustle is my thing. Friendly staff, a choice between intimate or out in the shade and fair pricing!

Relaxed you can see they have their regulars

Best prego we had in a while. Also try the steak egg and chips if you looking for a great quick lunch. Well worth it and not badly priced. Yum

My folks took me and my brother for lunch on Monday, 11 December; we were 4 people and the restaurant was quiet. In spite of it, we waited over 25 minutes for our food although we received our drinks in a reasonable time. When our food arrived, my battered hake tasted fine but the tartre sauce was pathetic. According to my dad and brother, who both ordered rump steak medium done, the pepper sauce didn't taste nice either. I'm sceptic to return to the restaurant again.

Update 2: stopped by for their breakfast special. They’re open at 6:30am which is great! And for R35 you get 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 slices of toast and grilled tomato. Add R15 for coffee and you have a complete breakfast for only 50 bucks! Will come back for this.

Review 1: I've been here a few times for lunch. I can't quite figure this place... it's like a South African-Korean fusion restaurant, but missing a few iconic Korean dishes (bibimbap and kimchi).

My fist visit I ordered the veggie burger and fries. Not a fan of the fries, but surprisingly the burger is really nice (minus the slice of processed cheese it is served with). The patty is made with whole legumes (always a bonus when it's not a today's soya patty).

My second visit I had the springrolls (both fried and the fresh ones). They were out of the plain chicken fried springroll and offered the chicken and cheese one instead.. it was not really to my liking. The fresh prawn rolls were amazing though! Filled with salad and served with a great soy based dipping sauce.

On my most recent visit I ordered the korean sweetpotato noodle dish (I forget what it's called). I'm not sure what this dish should taste like (I've never had it before), so I can't comment on it's authenticity. But it was salty... like half a bottle of soy sauce kind of salty.

So overall, it's a bit of a hit-and-miss. Some items are really good and then others just fall flat. Will still return to discover the other gems on the menu.

Update: they've changed the menu... and I had a mission to stuff my face with fresh prawn rolls, while devouring a bowl of ramen soup (was watching far too many ramen mukbangs the previous night). So I settled on the traditional egg noodle ramen soup and a kimbap roll. The kimbap was the redeemer to my meal. Still sad about those rolls though...

It's very nice and cosy cafe'/restaurant. The Staff, Cheffs and Bosses are friendly at all times. The service is PERFECT and you really are feeling at Home !!! I always loved to go in the afternoon for Coffee and Cake and for supper in the evening.

I think I have eat here too much because they recognize my voice over the phone. All the staff really friendly and owner actively involved as well, always coming around to ask how everything is and so on.
Food is excellent. Freshly made and decent portions. Always delicious! Great for any time of the day as they're open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other people I've recommended Paparazzi to have always come back happy and full. Desserts are awesome as well. And by far some of the best milkshakes I have had in town.

I eat here regularly and enjoy their food. They recently started stocking kimbap, the chefs being Korean. The kimbap being made was very authentic and I was pleasantly reminded of my time in Korea. They have daily specials which are worth keeping an eye open for, and the location is both lovely and lively. With stopping by for lunch to explore.

I am a regular at cafe paparazzi. Their food is great, it has a very authentic and home cooked Taste. Good speed wifi. The decor is quite cool and service is great, coffees and good but I wasn't impressed with the baked chocolate tart, it was very poor quality chocolate.

Paparazzi is a very nice place in terms of food, scenery, service and cleanliness.

There are tables outside for those who like to watch the people walking around or just soak up the city.

The food is brilliantly flavorful and well priced, and the time it took from taking our order to actually receiving it was really impressive.

The service from the waiters were extremely friendly and excellent.

Will definitely be coming back again sometime.
