Breakfast at Oasis at the Mount Nelson Hotel was an absolute stunner.
Venue:
It is beautiful and has amazing amount of space. It felt like we were in another country.
Service:
We were well respected and the staff looked after us well. It was my friend’s birthday and the hostess even sang as well as gifted her a lovely small gift.
Food:
The breakfast buffet cost R455 and it is definitely worth it. From the croissants to oysters. There are juices, sparkling water and even other drinks. There is so much amazing food and it consistently refilled. The buffet is from 6:30 until 10:30 and walk ins are allowed.
We really felt extremely comfortable and accepted We did not want to leave, that is how comfortable we were. It was such a calming, welcoming feel.
I would definitely return soon.
Relaxing atmosphere surrounded with luxurious furnishings extended to outdoor patio for a stay longer feel complimented with jazzy music all contributing to a more relaxed Sunday. Friendly staff & good quality food. Definitely will continue to spending the occasional Sunday @ the Oasis room @ Mount Nelson Hotel.

Allways come here for special occations to the buffet. Food very good, atmosphere nice, interesting clientele, service a bit unattentive at times, but professional. Sunday buffet definitely worth it, only from early December to March, would definitely go there at least once if you can. Drink prices a bit crazy, like R60 for 750ml water. Sunday buffet the best, had lamb shank, prawns, fish and beef last time and good variety of starters and desserts and very nice baked goods. Also nice 2 man Jazz band on Sundays which is very tastefull.
Great service,Food is great and Staff attentive and caring. All round excellent service.
