Lovely venue. Value for money. We ordered family platters as we were a big table. The food was lovely. Prawns are slightly overcooked but still good. My biggest complaint is that the food was almost cold when it reached the table. It would have been much better if still hot. Still a good value fo
A beautiful and affordable restaurant at V&A. They have great views of the harbour and serve exquisite food. The place gets really packed, we tried to call and reserve a table prior but that was not possible so we had to wait a bit for a table. I went with my infant so we struggled a bit with a pram
Great food, but given it four stars ⭐️ for now because the starter seafood chowder wasn’t great. I think they could improve the recipe. (willing to rate five stars in the future) The hake with salad, steak and chips was lovely. Oysters are fresh 👌 The portion size on the chicken was massive for o
Good seafood platter. The prawn and catch of the day are great. Fish here are very fresh and tasty. We came at night the atmosphere is lively and noisy but ok.
Food was delicious and freshly prepared, definitely value for money. Great atmosphere with a live band. Does get a bit chilly towards the evening as is expected with being on the waterfront but the views are most certainly worth it.
Had a wonderful experience there. The food was absolutely lovely. Please ask waitress about vegan/ vegetarian options, there a few available, I had missed until a friend pointed out the vegan burger options. Honestly the BEST vegan burger I've had and I've had my share across the major franchises! S
The food was absolutely delicious! I also really enjoyed the fact that you could have a veggie patty for any of the burgers, helps cater to everyone. The vibe was to be expected for a restaurant located right at the dock. The only drawback was the dirty mug though that was sorted out quickly.
Lovely tavern . Great food. Good music. Very busy place but our waitress was always available. Definitely will return to enjoy the waterfront once more.
Really a nice place to soak up the V&A Waterfront vibe. My dish, the “Cape Malay Fish Curry” was amazing, however my wife’s line-fish was ‘n little disappointing, yet still good flavours and well presented... All and all highly recommended.
The atmosphere is so refreshing, including the drinks. The food is so tasty and not badly priced either. I’m definitely adding this place to my eating places 😊 thank you again!
I loved the atmosphere here. We went to the rooftop restaurant and it amazing scenery seeing V&A waterfront. The sea food was the best. What could have been better was the service- it was very slow. Be sure to ask also if they have any specials you can enjoy for less.
A really great restaurant, affordable too. Did not know upstairs and downstairs had different menus though as well as a change in waiter attitude. Downstairs definitely the place to be!
Really great evening dinner at Quay Four restaurant, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Fantastic table overlooking the harbour at night which was really special. Also great value for money in a superb location.
A great location for a meal at the V&A Waterfront with good food and decent value. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Suitable for all ages and for families, groups or couples to enjoy a meal or just drinks. The peri-peri chicken was hot enough and did not disappoint. The Fish and chips was a good po
Amazing place. Very authentic, lively atmosphere. Also the food is very good and you get a lot of bang for your buck. You see a mix of locals, tourists and every kind of people. On sunday they had live music and the band was soooo good.
They have an upper and lower deck area. The wait to the lower deck area is significantly on weekends. The upper area is reserved for fine dining. Despite the busy restaurant, the food was fantastic and the service was good.
