Had the yellow broth and everything is just right. From the egg to the ramen. The broth is light not too heavy or salty. The “Turkish delight” is a delicious touch to the meal. Also enjoyed the stuffed squid and Asian coleslaw, just a bit heavy on the dressing. The green smoothie is super yummy. If you choose something light to drink, try their rooibos ice tea that doesn’t contain any sugar.

Little cozy pop-up with counter seating. Had the fried chicken, the sauce was a very nice counterbalance to the breading meat. Small plate -suggest you may want to order more than one item per person. Available drinks appear to be limited to still or sparkling water. Recommend

Hands down one of my favorite places to go for lunch! As of yet I'm still addicted to the Brown broth, with it's perfectly cooked venison and soothingly rich and spicy base. Still loads more to try there, but definitely a must try!

I was delighted to find Marrow again- I thought with COVID that they had closed forever- but thank goodness not- just moved to a super cute spot in Newlands. The best part is they also do delivery- which makes it even easier to get my Chicken Soup fix. Seriously this chicken soup - words don't do it justice, and the bonus is how it packs a nutrient punch!! I also had the yellow bowl which was delicious. I nearly fell over when my 7 year old- who refuses to eat soup- ate 2 helpings of the broth with noodles. We will certainly be ordering again.

So happy I found this gem. Nothing better than a healthier option for a meal. Pricing is reasonable, very quaint location and delicious broths. I have tried the white and the brown broths, both great but will be ticking each option off as I go. Love the Turkish delight for dessert as well!

Minimal menu, our clear and green were both light and delicious. Low carb and vegan options available. The chorizo sausage in the clear is spicy, I loved the heat. Beautiful presentation. The cordials were refreshing and I loved the plums slight sourness. The Turkish delight sweet just ended it off for me so well.

What a gem on Loop street! Cosy eatery with a small menu of bone broth dishes unique in flavour & beautifully presented. We ordered one vegan option and one broth with pork and saffron and we swooned in silence enjoying it, swapping bowls halfway. We left sated, glowing with the satisfaction of having had something really nourishing and delicious, and took an extra jar of broth home to whip up an easy lunch tomorrow

Marrow is a great place to have a nice warm soup with great ingredients to go with. My girlfriend and I had the white and brown soup topped with an egg and rice balls. The white soup is light in flavour with nice firm tofu to go with it. The brown soup is much heavier with a hint of burning sensation, which I enjoyed more than the white soup, and the venison was amazing. The rice balls did not shine at all, nothing special, taste of white rice with a bit of light sourness. I prefer my soup boiling hot but that a personal thing. Overall, great experience, I would definitely come back to try the other soup broths.

Revisited this place for the first time since we went into lockdown and I am so pleased to say it has incorporated all necessary safety protocols without compromising any of the charm of the restaurant or quality of the food. Served by Cynthia and Nono who were both such a delight. 10/10 recommend this place.

Tasty broth. I've had the brown broth several times just because it's so good. Will expand taste to the rest of their menu. Easy to find, small venue in loop street.
