We popped in for a milkshake around 9pm. Loads of flavours, friendly staff and we decided on a Lintmint & a Amarula milkshake which both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot if in Camps Bay

Had Gelato ice cream at Gelato Mania Camps Bay when visiting Cape Town. The gelato shop is located right across the road by the beach. Great range of different flavoured gelatos/icecream, good value of money and friendly service.

Wonderful to find a icecream shop still open at night. I do however wish there is more vegan options besides dark choc and the sorbets. However the options were tasty.

Friendly and informative service, and best of all they had two banting-friendly flavours (made with stevia) - chocolate and hazelnut. Delicious! Great space outside to enjoy and watch the Camps Bay action.

Best 4pm treat on a Saturday afternoon by the beach 🏖️🏖️🍨🍨

Delicious gelato options with an amazing view. Popped into the store for a quick treat and was blown away.

As close as you'll get to an authentic Italian Gelato experience in Cape Town. There is always a large selection of yummy flavours.
Two things to be aware of.
This will not be a cheap ice cream. Currently R39 for a single scoop and the plain vanilla flavour is rather plain.
Otherwise a perfect place to spoil yourself after an epic beach day.

Conveniently located close to the beach. The ice cream is smooth and taste great. Staff seemed a bit distracted by a problem with the POS but the did help when I was noticed.

Very good. Lots of variety

The flavour I had tasted just like Ferrero Rocher, it was the most delicious gelato I've had!

‘Ice Creams’…….. they really have the potential to turn a bad day into a bright one and a bright day into the brightest one ! The scenic view added a cherry on cake!

Ice cream is good, but lacked something... I don’t know what, but it just didn’t quite do it for me. Maybe I chose the wrong flavours (a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of coconut).. but it was slightly above average and nowhere close to Moro Gelato. And for the price they charged... hmm..

Ok let’s focus on the positives. Loads of interesting flavours: including vegan options, diabetic options and an assortment of sorbets. They let you taste ahead of picking ... but you can only taste up to 2 flavours...

It’s a decent gelato chain in the perfect location, but I think I’ll try their sorbets next time.
This is a weekend ritual, greenpoint gelato to be exact, we ended up in campsbay and decided to get some dessert there instead. We got greeted by very miserable ladies behind the counter. We ordered and decided to have a seat and chill until our ice cream was done, (10mins max I'm guessing would be enough time to finish it) non the less, the ladies rudely came to close the doors, we weren't sure if the time they closed and then asked, she said very rudely without looking at us, 10.30 I'm going home- it was 10.09pm. She cleaned and packed chairs away around us very wild and loudly. When I asked her if it was if we could eat our ice cream until we done she blatantly ignored me and carried on. I just stared in amazement, I didn't expect to have such bad services. I'm disgusted.

Best ice cream in Cape Town but I'm definitely sticking to greenpoint branch instead.

What's a nice scenic drive without an ice cream ?!

When passing Gelato there should be a good reason for you not to stop.
I'm very experimental when it comes to their flavors, I have to try a different one each time and it's always lovely.
I also love the fact that they have diabetic Ice cream too, few of my friends suffers from it so it just makes it easier for them to indulge as well.

My friend and I decided to have an ice cream show down;) with each of us ordering from a different place and trying them both and then ... The winner! So Gelato was on the cards of course with this amazing Sunday weather. Opted for the Pino pingeuno one which tasted as if there was chocolate whirls of sauce in between almost like a sundae with a twist/taste ;) delicious ... The pricing is somewhat more bit it's probably more attached to the brand they have created which is great! Enjoy

Perfect for a yummy scoop on a hot day like today! I ordered a scoop of mango Gelato which honestly tasted like fresh ripe mangoes. Dario ordered a scoop of Gelato Al Biscotto, which was vanilla Gelato with biscuits. Both looked and tasted extremely tasty! Especially with the sugar cone. Always very impressed with the various flavours and options.

I had a tough time choosing a flavour yesterday at gelato mania. Thank goodness for tasters being available. I finally settled on kit kat which was delicious and chocolatey.

They are a bit pricey but this is definitely quality ice cream that's worth it. Service was good as well.

Came here for an after dinner treat. Pretty setting. Big selection of ice cream and it was quiet despite being a Saturday night. The choc brownie ice cream was on point.

Fantastic icecream and such a great variety, recently been to italy and must say this icecream is tops! Enjoy a great after lunch stacciatella and a walk on the beach ;)

Delicious gelato while strolling down the promenade. Gourmet flavours and quick service are my absolute favourite. Definitely a must on a summer's day.

I don't think there is a better positioned ice cream parlour. After soaking up the sun all that you feel like is an ice cream. They have some great flavours to choose from and you are able to sit and look out onto the sea or if you feeling a little guilty you can walk along the beach.

I went walking with my mother and her black pug along Camps Bay Drive.

I went into Gelato Mania to buy and ice cream for myself which was over R68, and I asked for water for my mothers dog. Gerry Comninos (a staff member) said I had to pay for the water.

My mother said that it was very inconsiderate of them since every restaurant along Camps Bay drive have bowls outside for dogs even Vida and I'd just bought ice cream there. Gerry proceeded to shout and insult at my mother. She was humiliated in front of all their customers.

I told him, I wanted to speak to the owner, and he gave me a cell phone number to phone, which I did, and no one replied or got back to me.

Humiliating elderly women in public is unacceptable.
