This Spur was a pleasant surprise! We had a window table which overlooked the harbor. We ordered breakfast and was not disappointed. It was done to perfection and the coffee was really good. The price (R89) was very reasonable as well.The service was really good. We were served by Masilo who was an excellent waiter. Well done, Santa Ana Spur! We shall come back for more!

The waiter made an appearance so now and then. I was seated outside and could have left without paying. The manager came out and cleared my table, and then I asked him if I could pay. So service could have better. I'm sure it is not like that all the time.

Omg!!! The ribs are to de for, meat fell off the bone was worth the 20 mins wait!! Staff is gorgeous and friendly!👌👌

We were invited back to the spur due to the past... Me and my wife had the greatest time... tonight was the definition of great/ quality service as well as, exceptional food and the atmosphere were extremely calm/free/happy (exactly what you expect when you decide to go out after a hard days work)... After we had a great meal we decided to have a chat and we had no distraction no complaints nothing but praise SANTA ANA SPUR (WATERFRONT) You guys are the best honestly not a single bad thought or critic towards the food or staff... Thank you for your awesome hospitality and friendly warm greets and smiles (from the time you step in the door). Santa Ana Spur Steak Ranch is a nice restaurant with a great view. When my family and I stopped there for lunch over a weekend at the Waterfront it was extremely busy. The service was good and it was clean as a general restaurant should be. The food was presented well and it tasted good. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. It was a nice experience taking my family to Santa Ana Spur Steak Ranch.

Surprisingly good. I recommend eating inside as the decor is really nice. A lot of locals eat here, so it's a big vote of confidence. Don't get the fish. Get meat! Burgers are great, wings, etc. Great service but a little long. The food was good and we were very pleased with our overall experience

Their meat is so tasty especially the pork ribs (sooo yummy😋) The staff are so friendly. Unfortunately they don't have high chair. They do have kids chair, but the one that we just put on chair or sofa, and it's not firm. The price is a bit expensive for me, but it's worth it. Because the portion is just quite filling 😁 I would love to come back again if I have another opportunity later 😍 Lots of love from Indonesia 🇮🇩🥰

Had a wonderful dinner at this Spur. Seated at a great table with a good view. They were busy but super efficient and the vibe was great too!! Despite the busyness our food arrived speadily. 😀

Was fortunate to get outside seating. It was extremely busy due to a sporting event at the stadium. Had great service. Food wasn't bad either and the view can't be beaten.

Very satisfactory experience. The food was delicious and the kids playing area really came in hand because we had 2 children alongside. I truly recommend the burgers which come with the mushroom sauce, they are quite nice. I also found the side options exquisite as I am a big fan of deep fried onion rings.

This is quite an amazing Spur! Amazing playground for the kiddies, friendly manager, the only reason for 4 stars is because their Free WiFi has a 500MB limit. I recommend going on a Monday for a burger special, then getting the waffle special which is also on a Monday for about R100 in total.

Im not usually one for a review, but honestly the most incredible experience and even more so that is came unexpectedly. Siyabonga our waiter was quick and ready to serve us and even though the restaurant is jam packed with barely any tables available, we got our foot promptly and it was delicious as usual. Top class from the management and the team !! You guys smashed it tonight 👌🏽

My friends and I was there on Saturday.. it started off ok even though we had 3 different waiters. But after we got our starters things just went down hill very fast! We waited almost over an hour for our mains and when it eventually came our food was Cold and the portion was small. Our water was warm with no ice as we asked. The waiter didn't bother to check up on our table or clear anything we had to tell her and we had to get a manger to bring us warm food but by that time we clearly lost our appetite! I clearly don't know if it was race or if it was just our waiter cause there was 2 tables filled with 'white tourists' next to us that got excellent service! There food didn't take longer than 10mins to arrive and both tables got their food at the same time and their waiter was on point for their whole service! Clearly customer service at your Ranch should be looked at and delt with cause the service is unacceptable!!!!

Amazing service by Wendy our waitress, probably the best service I've had during my 3 weeks in Cape Town. Best cheddar melt burger, and waffle for dessert

Food was great, very welcoming also, but half the time I wasn't sure who our waiter was. I kept having to ask a different waiter for things I needed and to order or anything as a matter of fact. Everyone I spoke to said they're our waiter. So service needs improvement.

Had the most dry burger when I celebrated my friend's birthday over there. The starter took forever to get to us and the staff was very hesitant to sing the birthday song my friend. Wouldnt recomend this spur to anyone.

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant tonight... My friends and I popped in after a day out. We were served by Nazeem, who was a very incompetent waiter, handing us dirty crockery, being timing in taking our order and even more so when he had to deliver. This young man was all over the show. We waiting more than ten minutes to get the bill and them after asking the card machine eventually walked to the cash desk to rather pay there, which we successfully did. With him being no where in site. With that done we left and was on our way to the parking when this waiter ran after us and we were far from the restaurant already asking us loud "why didn't you pay me" excuse me? Was my obvious reply! He then Continued to arrogantly harass us in public regarding a payment we had proof of, but he die not know about due to his incompetence. Needless to say I walked back fuming reporting this to the manager on duty. She apologised and called him to the counter where he continued arguing with my friend claiming he did not, know we quite frankly that is not my business if you don't know yours and he was arguing in front of other customers. I have never never experienced such service and coming from someone in service industry myself should I dare to treat a customer in that manner I would be dealt with. I was promised a call back tomorrow which I will await. For now I will not sit foot in Spur V&A ever again... You lost a customer thanks to Nazeem or should I say no thanks to him. I do expect feedback on this complaint

I want to commend you on the great customer service I received. My family and I had a wonderful time at your branch yesterday afternoon. Our waiter, Simba, was outstanding, making recommendations and really going the extra mile to provide excellent service and to ensure my daughter and her friends had a great time. The managers were also very attentive and helpful and did a great job of making us feel like valued customers. The food came out promptly and the whole experience was faultless. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I've been to almost all the spurs around gauteng, limpopo and mpumalanga but you guys at the Santa Ana branch take the cup, the service is just fantastic accompanied with a great view with wonderful waitresses such as Wendy, you really stepped up the standard and made me feel at home. Worst worst worst service we had today at the V&A waterfront spur. We arrived at the restaurant and they failed to seat us, we literally had to find our own seat. The tables placemates were given to me and I was told to set the table up. Our drinks had 2 ice blocks in it (it was very hot in the cape and we wanted something refreshing) I received my plate of food 10 minutes before everybody else. When their food finally arrived one order was completely wrong and we were questioned as if we made the mistake. We also had 3 different waiters serving us!! What is going on spur? Customer service is key! I'm disappointed! �

The cutlery and glasses was dirty. The glasses was chip and coffee mugs cracked. Definitely the last time they'll see me. <br/><br/>

We came in and was seated at our table. Waitresses walked passed us and nobody took our order . We asked someone to take our order , she said she would . But carried on to walk around . We eventually left after 40 minutes of waiting .The restaurant was not busy . It was the morning on a week day . Very disappointed in the service.

I’m not a fan of Spur and this was obviously not my choice for lunch. I will admit the food was tasty and I’m very impressed that Spur now has the option of a soya burger. For this reason and the good views from this particular Spur, it gets a 3. However, the service is seriously bad...our waiter disappeared, we waited more than 20 minutes for our food and the bill and we never got the water we requested. There are better restaurants at the V&A so I won’t be back.

Stopped past for a late night desert last night. Party of 6 all felt like Waffels with ice cream. Good choice was very yummy 😋 we all had a good fill. The waffels were big so was nice a filling 👌👌

A friend of mine decided to have a casual birthday dinner here. The views are great - it's especially lovely at night because you get to see the lights from the wheel and the harbour from the restaurant! We were a big group and so ordered a range of dishes amongst ourselves from steaks to ribs and burgers and more. My cheddarmelt burger was good - it's definitely a Spur classic!<br/><br/>

With a great view of the waterfront and port, we decided to visit this branch of Spur. We luckily got a great table outside on the deck which had this lovely view.The restaurant was quite busy, and most tables were full. <br/><br/>We ordered the Cheddamelt Chicken Schnitzel and the Buffalo wings and jalapeño Popper starter. Sadly, the service we received was a bit on the poor side given that we had to wait an hour for our food. The floor manager eventually asked us if we were being helped and we informed him that we were still waiting for our food and after another 15 minutes our food arrived. It's understandable that it was quite full but updates would have been appreciated if there was a delay and the kitchen should have been prepped for the extra people. In terms of the food, the Schnitzel tasted good (had to end up getting a takeaway because the serving comes with 2 large schnitzels) but the poppers tasted quite stale with the cheese stuffing having a weird aftertaste. <br/><br/>Overall, this branch of Spur has a great location and it may have been an off day for them but service and waiting time can definitely be improved. Otherwise, the food was decent (with the prices to match) and the view was lovely.

I've been to this spur many times and strangely assumed I already wrote a review on zomato. I've had great experiences at this spur, I think it may be the view and it being the waterfront that just makes it. I recently tried the new item on the menu; cheesy steak baguette. It was horrible. The sweet onions are overwhelming and completely disguises the flavour of both the steak and the cheese, making it a sweet onion baguette. It was appalling. My cousin had the chilli con carne nachos, I've never liked nachos so that wasn't great for me either. The chocolate milkshake was good though, a spur classic they can't get wrong.

I used to love going to this Spur because of the good food and the view. Nowadays I get so annoyed when I am there and only go if I want a cheaper option in the waterfront. Last time I was there I found a short black curly hair on my ice blocks in my drink. Gross. Some parents also let their children run amok in the restaurant, which I understand as it is a child friendly place. It can get annoying and sort of ruins the dining experience at times. Over all the food is average but the view is superb.

This has not been my first time at this spur as it is right across from my house but the service tonight by the lady in front (Portia) was really unacceptable. I had walked in and asked for a table for two please and she just nodded, I assumed she had heard me and was going to make a plan. I could not sit on the waiting bench as there was of 4 sitting already, I decided to stand in the que. looking across the room there was 4 open tables that seats 4-6 I saw them take the first family and another family of 5 sat on the bench as I did not need to sit and wait cause there were tables available, (Portia) knew I was next but she gave the family of 5 the go ahead to follow the waiter and I was once again put on hold! Totally Unacceptable, worse customer service I have had ever. If she is a Manager she needs to go back to basics

Had a Spur voucher so came here. Very friendly service and quick with our order. Had a double up burger and a sirloin steak with sweet potato fries. The views are also great.

Had a good breakfast this morning. The restaurant was way to busy as there was a function / Event near the stadium. The food was good, however because of the busy kitchen, portion control was not that good. Received very little what is of norm. Waitor was also too busy to look after us. So we just ate and left.

Monday burger specials are obviously the best. Especially with that view from the Waterfront ? It's amazing! I enjoyed my experience & would do it every Monday 👌🏽👌🏽 the rib burger is my favourite!

*IT'S A BIG 'YES' FROM ME*<br/>On previous occasions I've had a rather unpleasant experience with Spur (yes, Mountain Eagle Spur in Windhoek, I am talking about you..) but my trust has been regained after a handful of visits to this Spur! I am in love with their steaks, which are tender and succulent, and I was never one to order steak at any restaurant. I changed my mind now. Pricing is absolutely acceptable.

I am a fan for Spur in general and this outlet is no exception. Our waiter was very attentive and served us with a smile. I was in the mood for a steak, so I ordered a rump steak with cheesy jalapeño and I was not disappointed. All our orders were perfect specially the Nutella soft serve, it was pure heaven.

After a casual 5km walk for a charity in sea point, I decided to take the wife to spur for a refuel.<br/><br/>The order for the day was to be a burger and chips. On arrival I was starving and ready to order, but it took over 10minutes for anyone to attend to us... <br/><br/>Once someone arrived we ordered the Chilli poppers and wing combo starter. It was really cheap for the amount of food given. The wings were cooked perfectly but the Chilli poppers were a bit boring. <br/><br/>The burgers arrived not long after and let me just say, WOW! The burgers were the best I have ever had at any Spur and so were the crispy onion rings! Well done Spur!<br/><br/>Enjoy guys!

I have been craving nachos for a while now and from experience spur has the best nachos. After work a couple of days ago I decided to pick up a nachos takeaway from this branch and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The nachos had the perfect level of spice and cheese it quenched the cravings

It was a surprisingly hot day in Cape Town, especially for July so what better way to spend it at The Waterfront. I love this Spur because of the views of Table Mountain, the Cape Wheel & the harbour. While browsing the menu my friend & I noticed a new item; PORK CHOPS! What a disappointment! For R70 you get a 200g piece that looks way smaller than 200g. The meat was cooked well though, it was tasty & just the right tenderness. It was interesting eating pork chops basted with the famous Spur sauce but I will admit the meal wasn’t that filling. I rarely do this but I had to order dessert to feel full. You can never go wrong with the Choc Mud Slide. I don’t know what it is but Spur is really stingy with the chips & onions lately. <br/><br/>Will definitely be back for the views and order my trusted favourite, the buffalo wings!

I frequently stop by at this Spur for the Monday burger special when I'm working at somerset hospital. It's definitely one of the better branches with good service and the food is always served quickly. That said, it is Spur and well isn't the greatest meal. The grilled chicken burger is probably the better option and the special is reasonable.

Stopped for breakfast with the kids on Saturday morning. I usually don't expect much from Spur and never do a zomato review for them but the food and service at this branch was excellent.

Really busy place, had to queue for 30min before we were seated, our waiter and food was great, we had a sweet view of waterfront . Only problem were the bathrooms being unclean.

We normally love coming to this Spur. Was disappointed today... the buffalo wings half portion is a joke for R57... dry and tastless... our waiter was inattentive. The Spur has also become excessively expensive

I'm a BIG fan of the Monday Spur Burger Special. I mean come on who isn't? But I didn't have it this time round. We decided to feast on The Calamari and chugged it down with a Savanna Dry. The staff are super friendly and the service really good. I must say the V&A Spur really has some spectacular views of the harbor and of the big wheel, and ofcourse our Table Mountain so it really is a beautiful scenic setting for any occasion. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or supper those views are always there to enjoy. 🌟

We wanted something light. Not many options really. Decided on a milkshake & nachos to share. Daughter had rainbow milkshake and its ghastly. Too sweet for a young child. My choc milkshake (and my friend's caramel one) was good. Went down nicely. Honestly the nachos was lacking. Had better at another franchise. Too much 'salsa/sauce' and too little avo. Feta non existent. Nachos itself is Doritos I think and not crunchy rather soggy. Disappointing.

Was shocked to see Spur's pricing yesterday when we went for burger Monday.Spur's pricing is now inline with other 4* and 5* Grill houses,which is crazy for the quality and service.Our waitress was inattentive to the point where she brought 4 plates of burgers to a 3 pax table.
