The food was superb. Unfortunately, the wrong dish was served. Curry with octopus was ordered and curry with seafood was served. The ambience is rather below average compared to other restaurants in Cape Town, but compared to Thailand is it top!!!

Lovely place, with authentic thai dishes and flavors! Loved the Kingklip with Lard Prik sauce, the beef stir fry and the fried banana dessert. Can recommend to anyone that loves Thai food

I ordered the chicken consome to help recover from a bad cold and it was the most delicious I’ve had in South Africa. Although I live quite far, it arrived hot, very well seasoned and a good portion size. Very comforting and nutritious, Highly recommend! The medium spice was not Thai medium, and more mild than you would expect for Thai food, if you like spice, level up!

The food was really great. Lots of flavours and every bite was making me crave more. Had beef with rice. The service was good. There were times we waited a bit for someone to take our order or to pay. The location where it is located is a bit dodgy and you are lucky if you can find parking. The inside is very Thailand decurated. Good for business lunch or going out with friends to have a bite. No kids play area and also not wheelchair friendly.

Taste of Thailand never disappoints. This was my second visit and the food was as good as the first visit. The different flavours of the many dishes was a gastronomic adventure. The curries are a must if you love spicy food, otherwise stick to the stir fries. The coconut soup, the dim sum were all also divine. Order a few main dishes to share with rice for the table, then prepare yourself for a taste explosion!

Food is very nice but a bit pricy... They are on entertainer though which makes it very much worth it. I liked the night time atmosphere with the dim light and candles. The manager is very friendly but the waitor could be a bit friendlier and smile a bit.

This place is amazing! The food is spicy and so flavourful. Its rare that I like everything that is ordered for the table. The manager was extremely friendly and made the experience just that much better. Can't wait to return.

Taste of Thailand has been an old favorite since pre-covid, around 2017. I recently visited and was pleasantly surprised to note that their tasty food, good service and great quality has not changed. I will definitely be back 😄

Whilst not much to look at from the outside, inside is quite fine.amd cosy. Tom Yum soup medium heat was hectically Chilli... we shared it and were both sweating profusely, so be warned. Pad Thai was divine, a winner. It's probably one of the better versions we've eaten. Aromatic Beef was an underwhelming portion, and even though the sauce was delicious, the beef was tough. Notwithstanding the minor shortcomings, when next in Cape Town, we'll be back!
