Amazing food and the staff were all very friendly and helpful ,highly recommended for any particular time of the day .

We enjoyed Noah’s 7th birthday here which was an amazing celebration . We’ll be returning soon .

7. Amazing location. Clean, neat & well laid out. Plenty of places to eat, plenty of activities along the Harbour side with amazing views. Informal pop up markets with a variety of goods & foods cater for all tastes. V&A is safe with plenty of parking. Loved it!

Decided to give RocoMamas a try for Sunday lunch. Overall there were some good and bad points from our experience. The good - the burger and waffle was excellent 👌 The bad - the music was super loud, the menu was torn and sticky, they have a red bull promo but despite all the red bull cocktails being advertised with watermelon red bull they only had original and sugar free available, the service started off very slow (luckily changed after the first 30mins or so this was corrected and we got great service). Thankfully the visit finished on a high note with the waffle and good service.

My little ones absolutely looooooove THIS specific Rocco Mama's Green Point. I had my second visit here and even better then the 1st time. The entire family loves the vibe and great service. I can recommend 👌 😌

The chilli cheese bombs and skinny fries were my favourite, the wings and burger were okay..(would have loved if it came with more veggies maybe lettuce & slice of tomato). Our waitress Yanga was very friendly and the manager on duty was very attentive. Honestly, l was quite surprised. First time visiting and definitely not the last.

Food was good, loved the cheese bombs and wings. Just Rocomamas on the menu with the sodas it's very confusing when one gets cans and on menu there it indicates as medium and large but received smaller cans but is charged for large and even the staff couldn't confirm what is for what regarding the size of sodas.

RocoMamas is thé ideal lunch venue when one plans to enjoy a rugby match at the Greenpoint Stadium. We parked in Main Street, a few meters from RocoMamas where we enjoyed a draft beer and excellent scrumptious hamburgers. Service was extremely efficient and friendly. Afterwards, no more than 400 meter walk to the stadium. Highly recommended.

Really great choice, with some of the best milkshakes I have ever had. The burgers are delicious, very well prepared with sauce and fresh toppings. The fries are cooked to perfection, I found portion size to be adequate. Milkshakes are probably my favorite item on the menu. I would love to see larger portion sizes for the milkshakes in general. I really do love their milkshakes though. Definitely a solid choice from Ubereets. I really enjoy their food and recommend ordering from them.

I ordered the special for R130 that came with a burger, wings and dessert not a fan of dessert but my friend thoroughly enjoyed the waffles and ice cream, I enjoyed the burger

Food is phenomenal, the burgers are one of the best i have tasted in town. The ribs are very good and full of flavor, they could be tender, but for a place that specializes in burgers, they were very good. The milkshakes are excellent, wish there was a wider selection of tap beer. Staff is extra friendly and very helpful, will definitely go there again

🍔🍟🍹We where at the waterfront with my friends on the 12/12/2017 and we where not sure where to eat and I suggested we go at RoccoMamas and I thought there was one at Waterfront and google only to realize that the closest is the one I know in Green Point. I had to convince them that we drive to the one in Green point.. The service was 100%. They serve the best burgers. My friends where happy and promised to call again. Will surely go again tomorrow 14/12/2017 as it is my birthday. I would recommend rocomamas to anyone any day. What I like is the fact that kids can also go and enjoy burgers and Milkshakes. 🍔🍟🍹

Rocomama's has lovely food without a doubt � however I just feel the waiting time for a table is extremely long and that's because there's such limited sitting space, not to mention the noise is a bit to much to handle - i could barely think straight with all the noise and everybody talking ontop of each other. My experience at Rocomama's was okay, the food is worth the wait. My family and I went for supper at the one in Green Point yesterday evening, we had two babies with us as well - definitely not a place for small children, way to noisy and crowded.

The place was super full. Saturday afternoon at lunch time but the service was still on point � Drinks and food came not long after we had ordered and we really enjoyed our meal. We got a seat at the bar stools by the window with the view of main road greenpoint. Definitely coming back for more. Wanna try the ribs next and another one of those amazing freakshow milkshakes �

It was my first experience dining at a Rocco Mamas, it was great, the service was on point, our waiter was friendly and always there when we needed him, his name is Sizwe, the food was good, overall it was a good experience. Thank you.

Ordered chicken wings for a dinner party, tried the sticky BBQ and Mofo both delicious and tasty. Mofo wings does justice to its name.... :) spicy!

An interactive, vibey place to come for lunch, supper or just a milkshake. I honestly think it satisfies the taste buds to the tee.

Always great food and great service! Recently tried their beef ribs 500g. OMGOSH that was some Good Ribs! Soft, juicy, fell off the bone, tasty ribs! Definitely a recommendation for anyone to try out

Decided to go out for a good burger in a somewhat relaxed environment. The burger was good however service was slow and the music too loud and annoying that all I wanted to do was eat and leave! It really dampened what would have been a great food outing. The music being so loud means everyone is trying to talk over it. In a restaurant that is already full you can imagine what that sounds like. Based on that, won’t be coming back.

I absolutely loved coming here. I could play Jenga with my friends which acted as a great tune killer while we waited for our food. The staff were really friendly and helped us out a lot. A place with an awesome vibe. My two friends and I shared the large portion of chips and it filled us. My one friend couldn't finish her food. I would definitely go there again

I love RocoMamas! Went back with my friends the other day and I ordered a ChilliCheezBomb smash burger, which was tangy & delicious.<br/><br/>We also ordered a large fries to share because we knew from past experience we' wouldn't be able to finish the fries if we all ordered it individually.<br/>The wait for our food wasn't very long & our waiter was friendly and helpful.<br/><br/>After supper, we ordered a Slow death by chocolate freak shake, which delivers on its name- it's amazing. (I do think they should replace the piece of chomp with a flake though, would be even better) We also ordered a waffle which was nice as well.<br/><br/>No complaints, this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants:)

Okay so where do we begin? From the crazy colored buns, to the innovative way of ordering on your menu to the cool variety of drinks, mocktails and milkshakes... this has to be hands down one of my favorite new places to eat at! <br/>The service was so efficient and friendly. The food was delicious, I must say I’m not really a burger “orderer” but I’m glad I ordered one this time because their burger patties as well as the available toppings burst with flavor! Their nachos are definitely the best I’ve ever tasted, and their drinks are pretty awesome too! <br/>Unfortunately I believe the branches in Cape Town aren’t Halaal so I had a taste of this amazing restaurant in Sandton City and now I cannot wait to go back so I can have more! <br/><br/>An absolute recommendation !

My last experience here was not so great as it was a long wait, after getting in eventually however, it was worth it. Food was great and did not disappoint! The cheesiness was amazing. Only problem was wait time on food and getting seated.

Thus far I’ve had burgers, wings and fries here and none of them have disappointed. Great flavours, great textures, great prices. One of the best. The burgers deserve a strong recommendation

Ordered through Mr. Delivery. The food was cold and my patty was dry, overcooked and partially burnt, even after phoning the restaurant after I placed my order to make sure my burger could be done medium.  I've had much better experiences with this franchise at other branches, of which I highly recommend. I would recommend this specific branch if you feel like McDonalds but want to pay more.

Service was quick nd the waiter was very friendly, the food was also good and the price is very reasonable considering it's quality. I would definitely like to visit @RocoMamas again.

I had a bad experience with MrD and  the food on arrival however I still love this place because we were given free milkshakes to make up for it which were delicious and massive!<br/>We love the burger and fries but beware the ones with chilli are TOO much for a Durbanite to handle :P

Save your energy😞😞..me and my girlfriend decided to try it out, we waited in the queue for 45 minutes to be seat and after that we couldn’t even have a proper convo after we were seated the place is so loud <br/><br/>The food was average and our waiter was so rude...didn’t even make no eye contact just dropped the food on the table without even saying a word. Would never go back even if food could be for free

Phoned in just to ask if they are halaal friendly. A woman answered said "no we not halaal" and hang up. Does RocoMamas treat all customers with that much carelessness or is it just because I'm Muslim.

This is a good place for greasy hangover food. The service was decent although the food took about half an hour and it wasn't that busy. Don't go there if you're on a diet or don't enjoy kids.

Ordered take aways through Ubereats. The burgers were amazing!! I created my own with cheddar and caramelized onions - massive and generously topped. Didn't get a straw with my milkshake though and there was this dollop of cream which was overwhelming.

Came here with my mother and was told the restaurant was "full" although their was four high chairs open at the counter table. Asked if we could be seated there and we were. The service is slow and the food takes a long time to be delivered. Ordered the burgers, chips, wings, bombs, wings and nachos. Burger was dry, chips cold and the white sauce on the nachos tasted sour and weird. The wings and the bombs were good. The jar of chocolate milkshake is nothing special. The chocolate tastes of a cheap quality.

Rocomamas has some of the best burgers, I love that you can create your own burger, however you want it. The patties are succulent! Their fries are definitely my top 5, they are like McDonald's but with more flavor. Their wings and ribs are good, not wow though. The service was annoying, the waitress kept delaying. The vibe was good, it was full, some People even had to wait for tables.

Why are your chillie cheese chips so good? 🌶🧀🍟 I wish you were open at midnight after a good time out.. The burger was also really good and so reasonably priced.

My first experience and I loved it. The only negative is it's quite busy and the tables are quite close. Alot more positives as the waitress was quick to recommend a good burger and gave good service. The bill was also very affordable for 2 people!

I have never been into the restaurant. I must be honest it looks loud and busy.<br/><br/>Last weekend my boyfriend ordered from them. I claimed that chilli cheese fries sound grosse, so I just had a burger. The burger was good, slightly over cooked, but really tasty as a whole, and such good value for money.  <br/><br/>I wish I had ordered chilli cheese fries though. He let me taste but refused to share. They are disgustingly yummy!

Best Burgers in Town!!! Veggie burgers are very tasty, be sure to try them with the chilli cheese fries which would have any cheese lover drooling!!! Those milkshakes are nothing short of perfect and they look exactly as advertised, the only downfall is the waiting time which is really long (+30mins for food and drinks) The service has always been great.

Love the fact that they are open later than most places in Greenpoint. My boyfriend and I got there after 9 and were greeted and seated immediately and it was still fully packed. Their food is always up to standard, their chips are my favourite. Good atmosphere and good music.<br/>

Rocomammas is a burger joint, well known for their "smashburgers" as well as their huge gourmet milkshakes. I got the Peanutology milkshake and can conclude that the milkshakes definitely live up to their hype. Same goes for the burgers. The atmosphere is good as the place is usually full and it just has a fun feel to it (they have jenga blocks which you can play with while you wait for your food which is different). The prices are decent and the staff is very friendly. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Great service. Great food. Great milkshakes. Everything to be excited about!! On recommendation I went for the super hot wings - absolutely brilliant!!! I could eat 40 of those. My wife had the peanut butter crazy shake (or something like that). Loads of peanut butter and chocolate - unfortunately the milkshake itself was slightly icy and didn't have much taste. All the toppings and add-ons where super though. Burgers very well made. Great patty, great sauce brilliant pickles and relish.

This was the first Rocomamas I ever experienced. The line was long but it was worth it. The setup inside could be much better as it was so cramped when we were there. I suppose they have to try and accommodate groups that way and move things around. The veggie burger was the best I have ever had and that made up for everything else. Overall not my favourite branch but I enjoyed the food anyway. I love the funky menus :)

As a HUGE rocomamas fan, this experience in Cape Town was a little bit of a let down. Very crowded and the food is just not as nice as the branch in Potchefstroom. Despite the little disappointment, this rating won't prevent me from visiting them again. Overall a great choice should you want some nice food later in the evening.

Roco mamas is a great casual dining experience. The burgers, wings and chips were tasty. I was extremely impressed with the "Peanutology" milkshake which is new to the menu. Delicious!<br/><br/>I was abit disappointed that they've done away with the flapjacks.<br/><br/>The restaurant itself is in a nice location. Only thing that bugged me were the amount of flies around!

Good food. Possibly a bit on the greasy side but super fresh salads which kind of evens it out. TOO MANY PEOPLE and it got way too rowdy. I did visit on a Saturday after payday so that may be why but overall a nice visit.

We came here on a sunny Sunday for lunch. The place was packed, but we were seated at a table quite fast. The waiter was very quick with our drinks order. My friends had some beer and I had a Passion Fruit and Soda. <br/><br/>Their burgers are always amazing! I had a cheese and bacon burger. Everything was so fresh and all the flavours just explode in your mouth. The salad was also really tasty, there was just a lot of balsamic vinegar on it and the pieces of tomato were huge. <br/><br/>The milkshakes really look amazing and I can't wait to try them! They are quite large though. <br/><br/>

Rocomamas wings is the best! I order the mofo wings ask them to make it extra saucy if possible!! The chili cheese fries is ok. They have a vegetarian patty as well which is delicious!! The Mushroom Swiss smash burger can never go wrong. Chicken coleslaw burger was good. The death by chocolate milkshake is just insanely chocolatie!! Super full with all the food. They don't take reservations so get ready to wait outside the restaurant-put your name on the list.

After a Saturday night out, and a wasted Sunday afyernoon, it wasn't long before my body decided it wanted a waffle...Rocomammas here I come.<br/><br/>It was pretty hard to ignore the smells and sights and sounds {of other diners} and their good looking burgers and fries and ribs etc and not be tempted to eat food food first...not that waffles isn't a food, it's an everything in my opinion...<br/><br/>We settled on the bacon, guac and cheese double smash burger with fries and nachos...<br/><br/>The burger was delish; juicy, smokey & tasty but my nachos really could have been cheesier and A LOT spicier...I love chillies almost as much as I love waffles and there was not an option on that checklist ordering system to add chillies {or maybe I wasn't paying attention} but alas. <br/><br/>After the meal we were totally beat...but as you all know dessert does not go to your stomach, dessert goes to your heart..and so the nutella killer freak waffle was next. A dream of mine {yes, really} a waffle sandwhich has come into being. <br/><br/>Two waffles sandwiched between layers of nutella, banana, choc syrup and some ice cream. I say "some" because the ice cream to waffle ration is slightly out and this heavenly dish should be topped off with another swirl of creamy vanilla ice cream as well as spread with a bit more nutella...just for ratios sake...and given the option of maple syrup instead of chocolate syrup. <br/><br/>But all that aside, it was delicious. I am not complaining, I am just sad I can't be eating another one right now. *The only photo worth sharing in my opinion is the waffle...cos sweet dreams are made of these*

Very average, okay service and a trendy setting. Went for the milkshakes my friend made the suggestion we waited in a line to be seated probably 20min or so. The fries were good but were cold. The milkshakes pretty average if you ask me, it looks better than it tastes.

What a disappointment. Placed our order and waited for more than 45 minutes for 2 breakfast dishes. The food was cold, minus some elements and not what we expected. The manager advised that there was a printer problem but doesnt make sense as 2 tables who arrived after us, received their food before us. I think the waitress forgot to place our order. We will definitely not be back.

May 2 lunch: Roco is my fav place in Johannesburg and when we saw that it is now open in CPT, there was no way that we wouldn’t have a meal here. So, finally we had lunch here before heading out. The vibe of the place is as usual super and the orange based interior make you feel welcome. Being a vegetarian, my food is quite fixed - nachos, the awesome fries and veggie burger. And obviously, the craft beer. The food is of very good quality and I have never been disappointed and always amazed at the consistency of the quality across various outlets. Always in for Rocos!

There is nothing as good as a juicy burger with fries. Rocomamas is known for their juicy smash burgers and is a great spot for a get together with team mates after a stressful day at work. <br/><br/>A restaurant where you can be creative with food as much as you want. Every diner gets a menu filled with options that you can tick off to create your perfect burger. If you can't make up your mind then you can opt for one of their signature smash burgers, which is exactly what we did. <br/><br/>My choice was a ChilliCheezBomb burger topped with bacon, cheese bomb, aged cheddar, mozzarella, fresh chilli and chilli mayo. That has some bang-in-your-mouth flavour. Juicy, tender and absolutely delicious!<br/><br/>Others around the table opted for the BaconCheeseGuac burger topped with bacon, aged cheddar, tomato, fresh guacamole, red onion and smoked mayo. A good flavour burger that leaves you satisfied. <br/><br/>Some around the table tucked into the beef and pork ribs. The beef ribs were succulent, finger-licking good and cooked to perfection. The pork ribs seemed to be a bit of a let down as it was a bit dry and over cooked. <br/><br/>We ended off a great meal with a few choices of their Freak Shakes. We ordered Slow Death By Chocolate as well as the Peanutology. They looked amazing and each one is presented well with an explosion of toppings but the actual taste of the milkshake didn't meet up to my expectation. It was icy, almost like a smoothie texture. <br/><br/>Overall a great place that serves massive, saucy burgers that overflow with toppings and are bound to leave you completely satisfied.

BEST BURGERS EVER! <br/>I have only visited here once (unfortunately), but WOW, the burger's and the food are absolutely amazing! I didn't think that burger's could be so good! Not to mention their cheesy fries - they are absolutely delicious! I love the entire vibe of this restaurant, our waiter was so friendly, and joked with us, he made our day even better, and played along with all of our jokes. The service was incredible and quick, and their range of items, and burgers on the menu are incredible. <br/>If you do visit, I would recommend one of their gourmet milkshakes, which are beyond beautiful - they are huge, and a meal on their own, but wow, I loved every bit of sweetness! <br/>I will definitely be visiting here again!

Rather disappointing!! Chicken burger rather bland, chips cold and stiff. Obviously been sitting on the pass for too long. But what topped it all was the service. Our waiter, by the name of sizwe or something like that ..was the most uprupt, rude arrogant and unskilled waiter I have ever come across. When I asked him after 30 minutes, how long still our food was gonna be, he very rudely replied.. ' how Long for what!! Your food has to be cooked! Do you want me to bring your food raw!!.. What an unpleasant experience! My list is endless regarding the waiter ..bottom line that guy is bad for your business! We intended having lunch there then going back later for desert. Which never happened! Thanx to him.

What fantastic place for a launch meeting. I love the design your own burger concept. Not it can you choose chicken.or beef but add all your own trimmings. This is and suits every kind of budget. We had regular small chicken burgers and a small fries which we shared cos it was so BIG! Service was excellent, friendly, fast...Loved the decor and the vibe...I'll be back! Thank you!

Not the biggest of fans. The hangover breakfast is definitely for the win and the hot wings gave my anus a punishment. The rest of the burgers isn't my vibe though and it feels more like a family restaurant that kind of drives me crazy. But if you have some kiddies go and have fun.

Had a great 1st time experience at this burger joint. The waitresses were friendly and constantly came to check up on us and did let us know about the fries that would be delayed, we didn't really mind coz we were having a dope time smashing the craft beer we had ordered and chatted away with my mates. The hype regarding the burgers was real and for the price I think you get good value for money hence why I ordered more than just the burger and fries with a side of wings! The place does get quite noisy and loud but then again what would one expect from a diner style burger joint, if you're wanting fine dining with soft background music then this is not the place for that, this is a place for you and your best mates and loved ones to smash some quality burgers and beers. I didn't want my  review to be bad because ive only heard good things about the place but last night 8 of us went to Roca mamas in Greenpoint for a friends birthday. It's really loud so trying to get in on a conversation on the other side of the table is almost impossible. We ordered our food and got our burgers but waited quite a while for the fries. This is especially frustrating for me because i'm one of those people that great pleasure in taking pictures of my food. So everyone else is digging into their burgers and we're still waiting for fries. The fries get there and as the waitress lifts a basket of fries for my friend, a small dead cockroach falls onto his board. Horrified he asks her to take it away aswell as the rest of his food as he'd lost his appetite. At this point most of us we're already almost done with our burgers. The manager comes over to apologise and tell him that they've taken his meal off the bill. This was quite a disappointing experience as we came hearing such great things about the place. We definitely wont be back.

I went to Rocomamas in a group of 7 on a Wednesday evening. We got a table immediately and started working on our order - actually super fun. My friend and I ended up taking The Rockstar and El Grande (promo burger) and sharing the two - basically two flavors of burger in one sitting. <br/><br/>The Rockstar was pretty amazing. Featuring emmenthal cheese, caramelised red onion & RocoMayo, it was my favorite burger. The sweetness of the caramelized onions against the cheese and mayo was out of this world. <br/><br/>The El Grande had cheddar cheese, guac, salsa and RocoMayo. The guac did it for me with this burger. I had to give a bit of seasoning though, as anyone would with avo. <br/><br/>I ordered the espresso milkshake, which was quite amazing. Among the other milkshakes I tasted from the table - the Creme Brûlée milkshake was the star milkshake of the table for me (among Espresso, Belgian Chocolate and Death by Chocolate). It had a taste similar to Marcel's English Toffee. It was very nice. It will be my choice of milkshake the next time. Death by Chocolate milkshake was also quite amazing. A lot went into that milkshake, and it was super.<br/><br/>The service was very good as well - the waiter, took our food order first, punched it in and then came back for our drinks order. Something you don't usually get at restaurants. Timeously, of worked out perfectly, as we didn't end up finishing our milkshakes before the food came. The waiter clearly knew what he was doing. Our drinks came quick, and our food - considering a table of 7 - was also done quite quickly. <br/><br/>Overall, the experience was great, and I would recommend experiencing Rocos at least once. <br/><br/>I will definitely return.

We kind of hesitated at first but ended up going anyway and to my surprise, I wasn't disappointed at all. Their burgers are so delicious 😋 I would definitely go again. Worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Waited 45 minutes for breakfast and the orders were completely wrong. Food quality very bad.

Totally love this place. <br/>Only been here twice and enjoyed both times!! <br/>Their shoe string fries is like Mcds fries shape, but way better tasting. <br/>Like I've mentioned before I'm not a burger person and they are famous for that, however I had their Winglets and Ribs which was so worth trying. <br/>Their ribs was not fatty at all and the peri sauce just topped it off perfectly.

Can't say that I was too thrilled, found it to be really loud which would have been fine if I was dining alone, but I felt like I was competing with the music and the other people. Burgers weren't bad but not the best I've had either.

Great spot situated along Sea Point road for some casual dining. Of course, I ordered some good ol burger with milkshake because after all they pretty well known for their 'diners,drive-ins and dives' looking burgers. The service was great. Believe me device contributes to how I experience food. Moving on. My burger was topped with bacon, guacamole, and a bunch of other stuff that really complemented one another. Here, they have an interesting order system that allows you to design your burger according to preference. What's more, it's not complicated at all, which is great. The burger is exactly how I imagined it, delicious! I do think however that there's room for improvement when it comes to their patties. Milkshakes are decent, if they kick it up notch, by adding more original ingredients that would be great. One last thing, the wings were okay. I wouldn't get them again as I could make better at home. Overall it was a fantastic experience and would definitely hang out there again.

I really liked the nachos I had here with Curious Foodie. They were filling and the chicken tasted great. The restaurant sitting system is abit frustrating because you have to wait for a while or sit on temporary chairs and just when you get comfortable you get moved again. The vibe was great though and our waitress was very helpful and cheerful. Thumbs up!!

Was craving nachos for the longest and Pridey Pankhurst suggested we go try out the ones from Rocomamas because of some of the pictures we had seen on zomato. We arrived just before sunset so the ambiance in the area was perfect. We sat on bar stools for a little bit before they got us a table and surprisingly the wait was not long or annoying. The waitress that helped us was also very helpful as she would keep coming to check if we were fine whilw waiting. Service is tops esp considering how busy the always are. Had been there once before but was not really impressed by the creme brulee milkshake i had ordered (tasted like blended cream, milk and water). However the nachos and wings we ate redeemed them. The nachos were really good. They could do with a bit more chicken though but apart from that I would definitely go and order them again.

Stopped in here with wife after 10pm last night. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a table. I had a cheese and bacon burger and wife had nachos. My burger tasted good but I prefer it cooked medium. Wife was not impressed with her nachos, having had the nachos at the Brackenfell branch this one is definitely not as nice. Less guacamole, less mince as well. I looked at the pic on the review I did for the nachos at the Brackenfell branch and it did look a lot better.<br/><br/>The service (from Sizwe) was really great.

The burgers are out of this world, super amaze! Came here on Friday for the first time and had to bring my boyfriend (meat-lover of note) My only issue is the ordering system, the menu is too busy and you're never sure about what is what and where to tick. If you're patient it's easy to figure out but if you're feeling really hungry and in the mood to just choose something from a screen or normal menu then you'll definately lose your patience a bit, but all in all really good burgers!

Sit down, fast food style eatery.<br/>Burger, ribs and variety of fries. Very saucy burgers, flavour full. Sides are quite large portions, tasty and filling. Beers on tap and milkshakes that are delicious but you will definitely leave on a sugar high.<br/>Friendly serve but not a fan of the no booking policy. So you may have to wait for a table - which is almost not worth it.<br/>

Got a take-out from here on Friday night. First time trying it out and was really impressed. Tasty, well-priced burgers and chips. An upgrade on Burger King and the like. Definitely worth trying if you're late on the trend, as I was.

Average burger( try woodies at the waterfront ), I'm not sure what they are trying to do with regards to the interior it's kinda like a 60 yr old hanging out with an 18 yr old and trying to be cool and fit in. I'm a city that has numerous burger joints, roccomamas is not special. My beautiful amazing companion does enjoy their peri peri ribs, she won't share so I cannot write a fair review.

I had the chicken option because the beef option isn't halaal. The burger was really good, I added my own toppings to the chicken burger. The medium and large fries portions are huge in my opinion, so the small is enough. If the beef was halaal this would be my fav spot.

Was so excited to try out rocomamas but I was extremely disappointed. The atmosphere was a complete let down, have to wait in long lines for an average burger is not my idea of a good night out. The ordering system is so complicated we took more time trying to order than we actually did eating. I must say though that the portions are huge so if you value quantity over quality give it a go

Don't go on a Saturday. There was a line out of the door, there was no seating we were squished into a small table probably for 6 and we were 10. It was loud, crazy and rather unorganized. The food came, it was cold, the chips were so cold. We could only have chicken, most of the burgers were enjoyable but after a TWO HOUR WAIT. They don't take reservations- even though they have inadequate seating for a big table and can't plan tables bc of that fact. My milkshake wasn't good either. There was loads of food, barely anyone finished but I'm more of a quality over quantity person.

A craving for bacon and cheese fries led us here on a Thursday night. Much to my surprise, they didn't have them on their menu. Our waiter was very helpful and improvised for me. So, I ordered the fries with extra cheese and bacon. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it didn't taste bad. I just appreciated the service and willingness to assist. Great stuff!

Firstly I'd just like to thank the burger heavens for Rocomamas, I usually don't like hyped up restaurants but Rocomamas definitely lived up to my expectations best burger I've had in months, service was great too I love that you can create your own burger I will be back soon!💖

One of the best burguers I had in my life. Patty well cooked, fresh ingredients and the bread was on point. The chips are good as well but could be better. The portions are sizeable so a small portion is more than enough for one person. I recommend.

Best Ribs I've had in Cape Town. <br/>Having a beastly appetite I usually order the 500g Peri Peri pork ribs, and I've been blown away each time. <br/>The ribs have minimal fat & maximum flavor. The peri peri basting has a nice bite to it and not overly oily. <br/>Seeing as I order the bigger portion of ribs I don't order any side, however my companion doesn't seem to enjoy their fries perhaps cause he doesn't enjoy a thinly cut chip. He does however enjoy their beef & bacon burger. Not his absolute favorite burger but not a bad burger. <br/>The ribs on the other hand I end up sharing with him & thoroughly enjoys them too. Which is great for me as my eyes are bigger than my tummy when ordering. <br/><br/>

This was my first time attending RocoMamas and I was excited to try it. However I was horrified. I ordered a standard chicken burger and it was awful. I actually don't even know if it was even a chicken burger. I am still trying to figure out the ingredients to that burger patty. It was utterly horrendous and I definitely will not be attending again.

For the first time at Rocomama's there was a long Q out the door of people waiting to be seated. When we got to our table, the friendly waiters organized our drinks and menu booklets (something very different and very cool). Select your choices and hand in the sheet and few minutes later delicious food arrives! It really is a fabulous idea and great service. <br/><br/>The vibe is really nice, but almost feels like a family like restaurant and not necessarily somewhere you'd go to drink and stay long. It's more of a pop in grab a quick bite to eat and drink and off to the next spot. <br/><br/>Glad we tried it out the food (burger I had) was delish!! <br/><br/>Would recommend you to go if you have not yet popped in. The staff are all fabulously friendly, makes it so much nicer going to places like this one. <br/><br/>Well done team Rocomams Green point!!!

I don't get the hype behind Rocomamas. The ribs are disappointing, the burgers drenched in sauce. Only thing I've enjoyed here is the Peri peri wings though they are far from spicy. Portions are really big if that counts for anything. Small fries are a a large at most take out places.

Rocomamas has an awesome vibe and the waiters have personality. The food is mediocre though - good burgers but nothing amazing or memorable. The fact that you can tick what you would like to order ensures that the waiters can't get your order wrong. Service is okay, prices are very reasonable but the menu is very limited. It's a dude food restaurant!

Really good burgers and special fries make it a complete experience. <br/>Had the Mexican speciality with nachos toppings. Thought the double party would make it really dry but really well combined flavours.<br/>Not for you if you can't handle spicy.

I really like the atmosphere. Service is extremely slow. Enjoyed the milk shake but most likely won't have it again. Lacks flavour. It seems as though all the flavour is on the outside. Will definitely be back to try the burgers

The food was awesome - really find their burgers delicious. <br/><br/>However, the manager refused to pour a glass of milk for my toddler, and said he would only do so if he could charge us the full price of a milkshake. <br/><br/>Will not go back on principle.

We often go past here after work when we dont feel like cooking - great burgers, ribs, chicken wings & craft beer on tap, all at a good price with quick service. Its basically just an easy experience. Have the guac cheese bacon burger and share the buffalo and mofo wings. Mofo wings are mofo hot but so tasty with an Asian flavour.<br/><br/>Can get very loud when its totally packed but not exactly the place I would expect people to go if they are looking for a quiet experience:) The music often appeals to my 90s child side. Only complaint - the metal chairs are very chilly to sit on in winter! <br/><br/>

Amazing burgers. The service is great and very quick. There's always a waiter/waitress nearby. I also had wings, they were out of this world. Great spot. Great vibe. Definitely coming back soon.

These burgers really rocked our socks off! The place is certainly geared for the young and restless with its ultra retro orange and black diner-inspired decor.<br/><br/>And the tactile, interactive, tick-your-box menu is a clever way to occupy/distract diners while the busy kitchen churns out the food.<br/><br/>We started with a Rock star craft beer (but quickly switched to the mass produced/more affordable option for the second round).<br/><br/>G had a basic Cheese and Bacon version and loved it, but thought they could've given him more sauce. My Chilli Bomb was just that: explosively spicy, saucy and absolutely fabulous (my mouth was on fire, just like I want it!)<br/><br/>Great atmosphere, but the crowd's enthusiasm (i.e. loud laughter and chatter) soon drowned out our genteel dinner conversation. A perfect mid-week party place!

After seeing all the great photos, a few of us decided to go and see what the fuss is about!<br/>The service is wuick, waiters are friendly and the Menu is so convenient and you know there won't be a problem with your order, as you tick off on a piece of paper what you would like. <br/>I loved the fact that the Patty had so much flavour! Not just the toppings. The pricing is sooo great and the vibe is even better! Will see you guys soon!

We waited for over an hour for our burgers. They were fine when they arrived but the staff were unapologetic and incompetent. Am NEVER going back.

Every time I come here I'm never disappointed. The burgers are slightly on the small side but other than that they are absolutely delicious. The vibe of the venue is great and I'm always happy with the service. This is definitely a place to visit. 😊

Simple formula - quality burgers and efficient service in a casual setting at a reasonable price. We stopped in at the Green Point franchise for a quick burger and were bowled over by the quality of the food and the speed of the service. Great venue for a party or a meal on the run.

Rocomamas has a lovely atmosphere, from the creative colourful walls and decor to the notepads to order your meal, they definitely offer a unique, fun dining experience. I've had better before but they do have good burgers and wings - worth a visit.

Stopped here for a few beers and a bite to eat before a football match at Green Point Stadium and, I'm afraid to say, was hugely underwhelmed.<br/><br/>The food itself is pretty good - the Mofo wings are properly hot, and the cheeseburger was tasty if a little overdone. What disappointed me (and my friends) was the decor and service.<br/><br/>It's a bit too bright and colourful inside. I know that's an odd gripe, but it has a very strong "chain restaurant" feel to it as a result, which is problematic in an area of the city full of more interesting alternatives. The service was also very average, especially as the place filled up.<br/><br/>I guess it serves its purpose in more suburban areas, but in Green Point I think more discerning clientele will ultimately go elsewhere. I will most likely not visit again, in spite of those hot wings.

Great food, great milkshakes and just a generally good vibe. <br/>Love that they have the bacon slaw salad option for the low carbers out there. And on top of it, it tasted amazing

I'm from Joburg and this Roccomamas disappointed. The ribs were lack luster in taste as well as the fact that we waited quite a while to get the food. The people we were with we're not satisfied with their burgers. Taste wise I would recommend going to another one in Cape Town.

Place is quite vibey and is very family oriented with the different faces that are there. The food is good and with cleaning utensils near by is very convenient. This is a place a can recommend to my friends for a quick burger and beer

I wanted to try this restaurant for sometime, and finally went one morning around 11 AM for an early brunch. I loved the decor but the music was too loud for 11 AM. We were the only clients so we talked to the waiter about the music and he insisted that it is part of the restaurant's image. Personally I was not impressed with the food, I didn't hate the place but I will not be returning soon

I was quite keen to try out rocomamas in cape town after having a poor experience at one of their jhb branches. Located on the green point main road strip of restaurants, it was quite busy and vibey for a Sunday afternoon. I tried the chilli cheese bomb burger which was good, the cheese bomb being the most interesting component of the burger. The patty was not flavoured very well though. The chips had delicious seasoning sprinkled on them and were a generous portion. The wings were quite average and the spicy option was not spicy at all for me and quite a small portion for the price. Service was good and quite attentive.

They provide a novelty in terms of writing your own order through checking selection boxes - I found that bit interesting. A wide selection of burgers and shakes with good quality makes this a good food joint.

A very typical American burger bar, Rocomamas rocked. An unusual menu where you select your burger and toppings and additional extras. Very reasonably priced provided you don't add too many extras. Burgers were tasty and the skinny chips crisp and yummy. Service was good and waitrons warm and friendly. The restaurant itself is a little noisy but it adds to the vibe. Peanut butter milkshakes were delicious. The dessert menu looked decadent but never had space...

Burgers really yummy. Love the poppers. Shakes good. Service always been good. Chips amazing. Ribs too expensive though. Would be a 5 star if it were a bit cheaper.

Great vibe. Had such a good evening with close friend of mine. Had a very good time actually never expected it to be this good.<br/><br/>The place has excellent service such a good atmosphere good music, a nice set up of tables and colours.<br/><br/>The reason for being here; well their burgers.<br/>Nothing to complain about in actual fact they should open a fast food restaurant so that I can do this quick and easy.<br/><br/>Staff was excellent , my waitress was Yoyo and wow she had really good service.<br/><br/>In general it's a good place nothing to complain about. <br/>

I found it to be a bit overated but couldn't fault the food. Staff were friendly and efficient it's definitely a nice family restaurant. I think it's likely I would go again and try another branch.

I love the concept of creating your own burger and it allows you to have more options of different burgers to try. The waiters are friendly and the food never takes long to arrive. The burgers are perfectly juicy and they do not hold back on the sauce. A great experience and I know I will always enjoy my food whenever I go there.
